Dr. Maxim Podolsky, DDS in Rego Park, NY 11374 studied at Adelphi University in 1998 and earned both a Bachelors of the Arts and a Master of Science. He later earned his D.M.D. at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 2003. It was at this university that he received a Specialty Certificate in Periodontics. He served as the Universitys Department Chief Resident for 3 more years before coming to work at Dental Arts.
Thanks to his excellent education, Dr. Podolsky is trained to handle all aspects and types of implant and periodontics surgeries. This includes soft tissue surgery and the Pinhole Surgical Technique an important distinction given that only 3,000 dentists worldwide are trained for such a procedure. Thats not all, either; hes known for exceptional performance in the field of hard tissue reconstruction, bone grafting, gingival grafting, implants, and cosmetic reconstruction.
Dr. Podolsky current resides in Queens and enjoys spending time with his twin daughters and stepdaughter. Outside of work, he enjoys playing tennis, skiing all over the world, and playing with his cocker spaniel, Spanky.

So old fashion and equipment is definitley not up to date. Whoever the Indian lady is answering the phone is also extremely rude. Dentist lacks profession, had door open entire time during visit, No hippa, privacy. Kept talking to other patients while she was with me. Never going again. Save your time and money

Do NOT use this office!!! Absolutely terrible unprofessional doctor and stuff. They bill patients for work that have not been done, make you wait hours for your appointment, and can never accommodate the time that's convenient to the patients. Doctor Zina also did crowns for my mother and she did an absolutely terrible job. My mom is now in pain constantly, as she put old metal crowns that nobody uses anymore and we are trying to work with the insurance and a new dentist to get them changed.

Doctor Gotlieb did fillings. One broke days later, and the rest needed several adjustments. She then told me I would need root canals and crowns for my teeth. I trusted her and waited in pain (I didn't have pain before visiting here) for a whole month. I called multiple times, and the request for my insurance to this date is still "pending." I wouldn't recommend this place, but if you are a client, PLEASE always get a second opinion. It turns out she did flat fillings. I had them adjusted, and the pain is gone. No crowns, no root canal. I did not need the services she had me waiting for, and I will not suffer financially from copays--shame on this practice.

I've been here only 3 times and one of them the insurance system was down for maintenance (I have no clue what that means but the receptionist couldn't access my info) so I had to return the next day. I have had traumatic experiences from my former childhood dentist in Brooklyn so when I moved to queens my teeth were in an awful condition. By the time i worked up the courage to deal with it, Covid happened and then my dad died, so it was delayed further. I'm currently dealing with a handful of broken molars and it isn't fun. When i came to see Dr. Gottlieb I felt safe. I didn't feel judged over the condition of my teeth at all. I didn't feel like I had a reason to be scared anymore. The cleaning was quick but felt thorough and gentle, and I spent absolutely no time in the waiting room. She explained that I needed crowns and explained why. I left hopeful that my horrific dental saga was finally going to be over with. The assistants I've seen here are just as gentle and kind! I still have a lot of work to get done, but I'm not scared anymore!

Dr Gotlieb is an amazing dentist. She is highly skilled, smart, and gentle. I've been with her since my previous dentist, Dr Handler, retired, over 18 years ago and she took over his practice. I have been super happy with her over all of these years. She's treated everything from my tongue (I burnt it on pizza once), to cavities, crowns and cleanings. Now I'm married with two children and she treats my entire family. I highly recommend!

Dr gotlieb, the dentist, is extremely thorough with her cleaning and very pleasant. My teeth look and feel great. But what impressed me the most was the outstanding experience when I broke my old crown.
