Dr. Alesia Burge earned her dental degree in 2010 from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. Prior to 2010, she attended the University of Connecticut where she earned a bachelors degree in biology and a masters degree in public health. Dr. Burge is a member of the American Dental Association and the Connecticut State Dental Association. She values the importance of taking continuing education courses to focus on evolving techniques and advancements in the field of dentistry.
Dr. Burge takes the time to communicate with each patient and respects their opinions and concerns. She answers all questions to ensure that patients are fully informed, empowered and aware of their options for dental care. She is very attentive to the needs of her patients and continuously focuses on oral health education and the oral systemic link. Dr. Burges approach to dentistry has always involved providing excellent dental care with patience, warmth, and compassion. As a general dentist, she provides an array of dental procedures including comprehensive oral evaluations, oral cancer screenings, teeth whitening, sealants, space maintainers, restorations, night/sports guards, crown and bridge, root canal therapy, partial and complete denture fabrication, Invisalign, and extractions.
When Dr. Burge is not in the office, she loves reading, savoring different cultural cuisines, and traveling. She enjoys taking day trips to Rhode Island, Block Island, Boston and the Connecticut shoreline.
Dr. Harper grew up in Hartford, CT, and attended The University of Connecticut Storrs where he received a Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cell Biology, as well as a masters in applied genomics. Dr. Harper then obtained his dental degree from Tufts school of dental medicine in Boston. Soon after, he decided to advance his skills and knowledge with advanced education in general dentistry residency through NYU college of dentistry in Manhattan. After that, Dr. Harper went on to complete training in implant dentistry from New York Implant Institute.
Although he is passionate about his work, he has other interests such as the outdoors, reading, sketching, Caribbean cuisine, and exotic foods to name a few. He is very family-oriented and enjoys spending holidays with loved ones.
Dr. Marcelo Maldonado received his BS from the University of Pittsburgh and graduated from UCONN Dental School in 2008. He enjoys all types of dentistry and has special interest in the area of dental implant placement, attaining over 100 hours of advanced education in the past year alone.

I was so nervous when they told me I needed a root canal due to a pst experience with another dentist but they put me right at ease. Very professional and informed me of every step along the way. The assistant was very kind, funny, and only cared about me. Clean and hygienic environment. Receptionists were nice all expenses were presented up front no surprises. I highly recommend to anyone who has any fear of the dentist. They made sure I was comfortable at all times no matter what.

Really nice staff and great dentist/hygentists. Kind and caring. Facility is extremely clean. I moved my whole family here from another local dentist b/c I like DAV so much. Highly recommend.

Excellent service. I used to go to Dr. Dental in Enfield, which was a huge scam. They mistreated me medically. Dr. NM here is amazing and honest. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Made an appointment here because I have severe dental anxiety and read their great reviews. First went in for a cleaning and X-rays to determine what work I needed done. The hygienist was sweet and thorough. Dr. Harper and his team made me feel welcomed, and that my problems were fixable. Today I went in for a root canal. I was in and out in an hour, and they made me as comfortable as possible- there may have been a little serenading going on. Looking forward to my next visit.

I went to see another dentist for an emergency same-day visit. They took all kinds of x-rays and I had a comprehensive exam. He reminded me to make an appointment with my regular dentist to have my teeth cleaned, and I made the appointment at Dental Arts. When I was called to confirm, I stressed this was for a cleaning only. When I arrived at my appointment, the hygienist started going on about an exam and x-rays. I told her I only wanted to have my teeth cleaned. I don't know if she was choosing to ignore what I was saying or could not comprehend, but she would not agree with just a cleaning so I left. I am extremely disappointed and will not return.

Like many others, I suffer from severe dentist anxiety and had a poor experience with a previous dentist. I have issues getting numb for dental procedures. Dr Burge is absolutely wonderful and so understanding. She was patient with me and made sure I was completely comfortable before starting any work. Everyone is so friendly and the office is impeccable. Highly recommended, especially for those with anxiety like me. I am very grateful and on my way to getting my smile back.

Very clean office, I have dental anxiety and the doctors hygienist and assistants all take great care of you make sure they explain everything and ALWAYS ask if your ok or need a break. They put you first they don't rush you out.

Very clean and organized. Super friendly! The doctor was very clear with that work needed to be done as priority and let me had a say so in that. Update 11/18/2020: I went and had 2 teeth extracted. I was so nervous and super worried something would go wrong. The dentist and assistant were amazing at making me feel comfortable and making sure I felt NO pain. I highly recommend them! This place is amazing

I was skeptical. I went today for a cleaning. It was amazing and thorough. The hygienist was kind and very comforting for me. I have anxiety when I go to the dentist. He offered music and was very knowledgeable. I felt great! I have not met the Dr. Yet but will when I go back and I will do my review of my visit then.

I am very pleased with this dentist office. It is immaculately clean and they have all the latest updated equipment. Everyone is very helpful and pleasant. The doctor explains everything with you and is very knowledgeable and gentle. His assistant Brianna answered any questions I had also, always smiling and making you feel comfortable. She was very helpful. The dentist Hygienist did a wonderful job. My teeth look great!! Highly recommend!!

The staff is very welcoming and our cleaning went smooth! I came in with my 6 year old son who is very curious and she was very patient with him and spoke to him about what she was doing and gave him some lessons on keeping your teeth and gums healthy. I was very happy with our visit.
