Dr. Samuels is part of a trusted 38-year tradition of providing the best that dentistry has to offer. He is a 1979 graduate of Oberlin College and a 1983 graduate of Georgetown Universitys School of Dentistry. Dr. Samuels also attended the prestigious Misch Implant Institute at the University of Pittsburgh, completing comprehensive courses in Implant Placement and Restoration. He is continually updating himself and his staff on the newest dental techniques and technology in order to provide you with the latest in comfortable, antiseptic, and personalized dental care.

Dr. Samuels is committed to continuing education and has received training in IV Sedation Anesthesia from the University of Pittsburgh, Jaw Pain Treatment (TMJ) from the Pankey Institute of Graduate Dentistry, and has completed the Rosenthal Cosmetic Dentistry Course at NYU.

Most notably, Dr. Samuels has been granted Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) Fellowship is presented to dentists who are committed to pursuing professional excellence and providing the highest quality of dental care. In order to receive this distinction, Dr. Samuels completed 500 hours of continuing dental education, passed a comprehensive written exam, and fulfilled three years of continuous membership in the AGD. As an AGD Fellow, Dr. Samuels has joined an elite group of only 6% of dentists in the U.S. and Canada who share an extraordinary dedication to the idea that great smiles and good oral health for their patients are the results of going above and beyond basic requirements. Fellowship symbolizes excellence in the dental profession and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Recently,Dr. Samuels completed the Mastery Program in dental sleep medicine at Tufts University, and after passing an examination, achieved diplomate status from the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine. Dr. Samuels has also been awarded diplomate status in the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. He is a proud member of the American Dental Association and has served as a clinical instructor at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry.

Dr. Samuelsis a member of several professional dental organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry (Fellowship Status), and the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine (Diplomate Status). Dr. Samuels has also served as a clinical instructor at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry.

Paula has been in the dental field for nearly 30 years. She has been with Samuels Dental Arts P.C. for over half of that time! She loves getting to know the patients and helping them make good decisions for their overall oral health.

Dentistry has changed lives both emotionally and physically. Robert is very proud to have been part of improving the lives of so many during his 12 years experience in the field of dentistry. The goals of the office and his personal goals are identical - to always strive to be the best and to do the best work possible. In order to achieve this, Robert has completed many hours of continuing education programs, including extensive hours studying digital imaging with an emphasis on photography. This allows him not only to discuss with you the latest and the best technology has to offer, but to show you an array of options from which you can choose.

Beth has been in the dental field for many years. She began as a certified dental assistant in her home state of Rhode Island. Beth continued her education and graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Rhode Island in Dental Hygiene. Her career as a hygienist started in Boston before relaocating to South Central Pennysylvania. She enjoys the field of dentistry and making her patients smile bigger and brighter!

Terra's passion for dentistry started many years ago. A Gettysburg native, she earned her Expanded Functions Dental Assisting (EFDA) credentials from The Academy of Medical Arts and Business in 2005. Her top priority is helping patients make the best decision for their overall oral health.

She resides in the Biglerville area with her husband, two children, and their pair of German Shepherds on the family farm. When not practicing dentistry, she enjoys spending time with her family, boating, and reading.

Although Sara has been a patient at Samuels Dental Arts P.C. since childhood, she has been working here since 2011. She hopes to reach out to the Spanish-speaking community with her bilingual expertise. Sara enjoys helping to educate people about their oral health and looks forward to sharing new experiences with the patients.
