Dr. David A. Pereira has been helping patients achieve healthy, functional and beautiful smiles for almost 6 years. Being raised in a family of physicians and dental professionals, Dr. Pereira has always had a natural passion and commitment to help people live healthier and happier lives. This is apparent in his excellent academic and professional achievements, his compassionate bed side manner and extensive knowledge of dentistry and medicine.
A graduate of New York University College of Dentistry, Dr. Pereira has additional training from the Departments of Implantology and Orthodontics. While at NYU, Dr. Pereira served as a member of the peer review board which is dedicated to the maintenance of high ethical dental standards at the college.
Upon graduating from NYU, Dr. Pereira spent two years in an apprenticeship at Greenwich Cosmetic Dentistry, fine tuning his skills and utilizing the resources of an in house dental lab to achieve ideal patient results. He has completed the Invisalign Orthodontic Provider Program.
Dr. Pereira remains dedicated to continuing education in an effort to provide his patients with the highest standard of dental care using advanced techniques, materials and technology. He spends over 30 days per year attending post graduate education courses on a wide range of dental topics, treatments and procedures.
Dr. Pereira enjoys spending free time with family and friends. He currently lives in Stamford, CT while building a new home in Darien. He is an avid surfer and a licensed pilot for small aircraft. Dr. Pereira is fluent in Spanish and enjoys participating in theGive Back A Smilecampaign which is dedicated to restoring the damaged smiles of domestic abuse victims nationwide.

We had an amazing experience with Dental Arts of Darien today, I had an appointment for my daughter. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Dr. Pereira is a very knowledgeable and professional dentist, the best dentist I have met in the tri-state area so far. The dental assistant Farida is a very nice and warm person in addition to her competence. You guys are doing a great job! Thank you very much!

This was my first visit with Dr Pereira. And unfortunately it was for a broken front tooth. I was there for several hours but I left with a PERFECT crown. Absolutely perfect. I am so pleased with my results. Plus every single employee was so kind. I will drive the 60 mins to continue to go to his office. I highly recommend Dr Pereira and his office to everyone. You will not be disappointed.

I have been visiting this office for a few years now. My first visit was for a cleaning with Brittany. I didnt have to wait. She was on time and very personable. She did an incredible job. She was so thorough and gentle at the same time. I highly recommend her. I also had some concerns because i do have some receding gums. Not bad but I was told by my previous dental office to rush to the periodontist, which i did. That visit resulted in an estimate of over 5000 in dental work. I decided i needed another opinion. Well, because of DENTAL ARTS of DARIEN and their suggestions and regular cleanings there has been no change in my gums and i no longer need any graphing. Thank you for your professionalism and saving me from unnecessary procedures. I highly recommend this office.

Office dismissed me as a patient after I asked for money back that they had billed the insurance after I had already paid the balance. Loved my hygienist but found Dr. Pereira arrogant.

I went to Dental Arts of Darien for a consultation. Dr. Kerry Kerwar was fabulous listening to my objectives and explaining my different options. I left with a good understanding of the best approach for me and costs. I highly recommend.

I had my first appointment at Dental Arts of Darien today and it was the best experience I've had going to the dentist, In 20 something years! Everyone I met and spoke with was absolutely wonderful and so kind! I had some big concerns and worries going in and both the Dr. And hygienist completely put me at ease. My X-rays were the most comfortable oral X-rays I've ever received! (I've often left with cuts on the roof/bottom of my mouth from X-rays in the past, because my mouth is smaller) Not here! Everything was so quick and plain-less, it definitely makes future dental visits a lot less anxiety filled and makes me want to be super regular with my visits! The biggest win for me is that, I could bring my daughter! I'm a full time mom and the fact that I was able to bring my 20 month old with me and they had a play area and toys and things to help occupy her was absolutely everything!!! I cannot thank the team enough for making this visit so easy and wonderful for myself and my daughter!

My dental treatment was very comforting and delicately cared for regarding what needed to be done specifically, Also during the process I was asked is everything OK when I was injected with the needle in my gum to numb the location of my procedure. "Overall it was spectacular".

I would like to rate them with 0 but unfortunately that is not possible. Please stay away from Dental Arts Darien. They tried twice to fix cavities that did not exist, I have two different dentists in my family and both checked the tooth they wanted to repair - there was no sign of a cavity forming or existing.
