Everything starts with a beautiful smile. The difference that I make and want to keep making is giving my patients a beautiful smile to give an amazing first impression. You can never get a second chance to make a first impression.
The first impression I like to make with our patients, especially our phobic patients, is that dentistry is done differently at Brooklyn Dental Arts. We change the way people think about dentistry because we all go the extra step to ensure a positive, comfortable dental visit. Dr. Slobodski
Our lead dentist, Steve Slobodski, DDS, received his Bachelor's degree from New York University before going on to the University of North Carolina Dental School to obtain his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS). He completed his academic residency at the Brooklyn Veterans Affairs Hospital here in New York. In addition, he completed a specialized program in Clinic Diagnosis and Management of Temporomandibular Joint Disorders (TMD).

He is also active with REACH Grenada, which provides physical and emotional support to children in need in Grenada.
He has educated the Peruvian students on the imporatnce of dental hygiene and their health. He suprised the children with gifts including tooth brushes, pens and pencils following a visual and dental exam for each child.
For his undergraduate degree, Dr. Liem attended the University of Michigan School of Literature, Science, and the Arts. He pursued his doctoral degree in dentistry at the New York University College of Dentistry. At the Coler-Goldwater Memorial Specialty Hospital, Dr. Liem received general practice residency training.

As the hygienist of Dental Arts, it is my job to help our patients acquire and maintain optimum oral health and ensure that each patient has a pleasant and pain-free experience during treatments. I have been with Dental Arts for 15 years and have enjoyed working with Dr. Slobodski, Dr. Liem, Dr. Krol, and all the assistants and front desk staff. They have become my second family. Dr. Slobodski was the first dentist I worked with and has become my mentor and friend over the years. Out of the office, I spend every moment I can with my daughter and my husband. We also have two rabbits. I enjoy reading or exercising in my spare time and have a passion for dance.
I am here to help patients with all their scheduling, billing, and insurance needs. I feel so fortunate to be a part of this team since 1994. We have such great doctors who show so much love for the patients and a team that gives their all to ensure that our patients are happy. This makes mesmile every day. I love getting to be a part of thefamily that we have here at Dental Arts; its my home away from home. I love my job!
I joined the Dental Arts team in 1998. I help the patients get in to see their doctor in a timely manner. I'm dedicated to my job and to the patients who really let me make their time in the waiting room as brief and pleasant as possible. I'm grateful to work with such an amazing team, though everyone here is really like family. I love to laugh and learn with the doctors. I love to laugh and make the patients laugh! Im great at cooking and I go nuts for chocolates.
I have been a part of Dental Arts for more than 14 years, having spent my entire career here. I assist during patient procedures and work in the lab to make beautiful crowns to restore our patients smiles. Everyone here loves to laugh and have fun. We enjoy each others company and love creating relationships with our patients. In my free time, I like ice skating, growing vegetables in my backyard garden, traveling, and having fun with my family and friends.
