Dr. Strait and his staff are amazing! I have never been a fan of going to the dentist, but I have no problem coming here. All of the staff are so kind, make you feel comfortable in what can be the most uncomfortable situation, and best of all make the dental work pain free. I would highly recommend Dental Arts Group to anyone looking for a dentist!

An idea during a routine checkup for some cosmetic work turned into an outcome I'm so pleased with! Dr. Strait was up to the challenge and could not have done a better job! Him & his amazing staff...from the front desk to the assistants... were professional, compassionate & super friendly from start to finish!

Dental Arts Group has all appearances of "doing what is best for the patient", but what they leave out are the charges they mail to your house after your insurance company denied the bill because they don't cover things more than once or twice a year. Every time I'm there, I'm told in one breath how perfect my teeth are, then in the next, they are telling me they are going to x-ray me. I don't know what my insurance covers versus what they don't, I expect the hygienist and dentist to know if I can get an x-ray more than 1 time a year. This is the second time they have charged me for something without asking if it was ok to do something for me, knowing I would have to pay out of pocket. Every place I've been to, asks if they have permission to do something when the insurance company won't cover it, which this place doesn't. They don't know what my financial situation is like and the definitely don't care, which the front office lady made abundantly clear to me 10 minutes ago. Dr. Strait may be a nice guy, but he is always trying to convince me to pay out of pocket for teeth whitening, and most recently told me my tonsils were too big and are a health concern. I immediately went to an ENT doctor that he referred me to, which informed me I had nothing to worry about and they were unsure why my dentist suggested I come in to see them. Dental Arts Group seems like a nice group of people and they are very friendly, but that's only because while they are "taking care of their patients" they are also stealing their money. I guess that would make someone happy, knowing they are making more money than deserved.

9/23/22 - Dr. Strait is the BEST. The entire staff is just the sweetest and Dr. Strait is kind, caring, and compassionate. If you're looking for a dentist, don't hesitate to check out DAG, you will not be disappointed....I know because I've been to numerous dentists in several states due to moves and by far, this is the best dentist I've had in my 65 years! 4/26/22 and 5/10/22 - Another superb visit with the DAG family. Cannot say enough good things about this entire office. Love you all!!! 3/25/22 - A zillion stars for Dr. Strait and his staff!!! This is the best practice ever! Love, love, love DAG!!! 9/9/21 - Another spectacular visit to DAG. Darcie is wonderful, always does a thorough cleaning and it's pain free! Dr. Strait popped in to check everything out...he is the best! It's actually fun to go to the dentist! The girls at the front desk are so sweet. Can I give 100 stars? See you in March! This was my first visit to this office after moving to Little Egg Harbor from Rochester, NY. My daughter and her family have been going to Dr. Strait for years and couldn't say enough nice things about the entire office. I totally agree, everyone is very nice. Darcy did an excellent job cleaning my teeth and advising the Dr. of her findings. Dr. Strait is wonderful, he took time to explain the options for me to have a better bite with my bottom partial. I will definitely be seeing Dr. Strait and Darcy for all my future dental needs. Also, everyone is great with my granddaughters (ages 5 to 11), they don't mind going to the dentist at all.

Dr. Strait and staff are absolutely the best in everyway! Dr. Strait's work is proficient and painless. He is very friendly and put you at ease. He has a well run team that supports his practice. So happy we chose Dental Arts Group when we moved to Manahawkin area in 2018!!

Today was my first visit to Dental Arts. From the first phone conversation prior to the visit, to the numerous x-rays taken and the very thorough cleaning that took place, I can't say enough about the efficiency and level of professionalism of the entire staff. After meeting Dr. Strait and having him explain what needed to be done and how it would be done, I feel confident that Dental Arts is the right choice for our dental needs. They are also very helpful explaining your dental insurance coverage.

my visit was not a good one. After having my teeth cleaned, dr strait came in not willing to discuss my conversation I had with one of his staff yesterday about their error in billing me over a night guard issue. A night guard that i'm not able to use because it fits incorrectly. He was abrasive & quite rude towards me instead of discussing with me prior to coming in by a simple phone call. The night guard was not even looked at by dr strait today because of our discussion, so I'm left with a useless device which I paid my portion of. The staff does not do calls or pre determination on your behalf. They basically guess what you will owe, but don't tell you that upfront, is what he basically said. They also use an outside billing company that takes so long to get back to you on coverage that you are into another year so you lose all your deductions you may have had which would have covered it. I have never been to an office where they do not find out in your behalf what your portion will be prior to doing major work. Highly unprofessionally run office and his office and dental chairs need an overhaul as duct tape is holding some together.

I used to be "dental phobic", but not any more. My first visit to DAG, 3 years ago, was an EMERGENCY. Dr. Straight and his support staff not only reassured me, but responded with action that immediately made me comfortable and then scheduled the follow up to complete the necessary procedures. Since then any feelings of "dentist dread" are gone. Everyone at the DAG office is cordial, welcoming, exceptional. If you need any aspect of dental care, DAG deserves your consideration.

Above and beyond After having my dental implant fall out then become lost, I had a conundrum. My previous dental group of 2 decades, who had placed the implant 20 years earlier and then replaced it 2 years prior due to a chip in the enamel did not retain the implant information! During my time of need they advised that medical records need only be retained for 7 years! Until 2 years prior, I was still a patient; a dental implant is for life! Dr. Straight did much research including reaching out to peers to identify the specific make and model of the implant to allow himself the ability to properly replace the implant instead of cementing a generic dental cap as had been done 2 years prior without my knowledge. I highly recommend Dr. Straight for any dental need. There is a reason he is highly regarded and consistently recognized within the dental community!
