Dr. Phillip Chirla is an Ohio native, born and raised near Cleveland. He graduated from North Royalton Highschool with two years of college also completed at Cleveland State University through the post-secondary enrollment program. Dr. Phil was accepted to Case Western Reserve School of Dental Medicine at the age of 19 where he completed his doctorate degree and was the youngest student in his class.
Upon his graduation, he was recognized by the International Congress of Oral Implantologists with the pre-doctoral student achievement award for his interest and commitment to oral implantology & implant dentistry.
In his spare time, Dr. Phil enjoys spending time with his wife, Ligia, and their small dog, Miles. He has always been active in his local church and considers his Christian faith to be an especially important part of his life. He is always trying to learn new things in the field of dentistry to perfect his craft and to provide the most efficient and effective care for his patients.
Dental Arts is proud to serve Akron and Wadsworth as well as Barberton, New Franklin, North Canton, Randolph, Easton, Rittman, Seville, Norton, Barberton, Doylestown, Copley and other surrounding areas. We are dedicated to providing the highest level of dental medicine along with friendly, compassionate service.
Dr. Cris is an Alumni of Liberty University, in Lynchburg, VA. He graduated in 1990 with a Bachelors Degree in Biology and Chemistry, and for the following 3 years was employed at the Cleveland Clinic.
In 1993 he was accepted at Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine. He more than doubled his requirements and graduated with a Scholarship Award for Best Student with Most Accomplishments.
Gentle, professional, knowledgeable, meticulous, always striving for perfection, honest, kind, caring, funny, happy These are only a few of Dr. Cris distinctive qualities, which over the years have earned the appreciation, trust and confidence of our patients!

Dental Arts of Ellet is an excellent facility with a caring, friendly and professional staff. Hats off to Dr Chirla and his staff, I no longer dread going to the Dentist.

Truthfully, since I've been blessed with perfect teeth I only go to this dentist because I like seeing the people periodically; especially the hygienist (and my favorite lady, Nancy). And I know Christian needs the funds to make the monthly payments on his Rolls (after 20 years I think this is the third one I've contributed to). And the location in Ellet is convenient for me; it's across the street from my favorite restaurant (Hamburger Station). On the serious side, I couldn't have asked for better service from Chistian and his crew and don't hesitate to recommend him whenever someone asks for a recommendation; though I do remind them to stop at the bank first.

I have been going here since I was a kid, and I can't imagine taking my teeth anywhere else! Aubrie was a delight today and made my time at the dentist fly by with ease. Friendly staff, clean rooms, and a pleasant atmosphere all around!

The office staff and hygienist were wonderful. Dr. Phillip Chirla worked on me today. He was kind and answered all my questions. It was great to see and talk to Dr. Christian Chrila. He asked about my family and how we were doing. I love this Dentist. It was feeling like coming home. Dr. C. Chrila's other son was very helpful with explaining all the options for my insurance and went above and byond all expectations. Thank you.
