I have been in the dental field as a Dental Hygienist for more than 25 years and have seen many treatment modalities come and go in the world of dentistry. My goal in dentistry is to provide a comfortable anxiety free dental clinic that provides patients with the best up to date treatment that I can provide. I have seen too many new treatments come to our profession in forms of conventional and holistic not being offered to our patients for treatment options.
When examining and working with a patient, I take into account the whole body and the oral health. Our oral health shows many signs of illness when the body starts to breakdown and the body can breakdown with the oral health is out of balance.
Our dental office is unique in that it offers conventional and holistic dental treatment options. If you are looking for a dental office that can provide you with holistic options or conventional treatment modalities, you have come to the right dental office.
I have two teenage children at home, as well as two Sheltie dogs that take up a lot of my free time when Im not taking part in a yoga class, bike riding, or just going for a hike to enjoy the great state of Colorado!

We loved our experience at Dental Alternative Services with Ms. Joy! She took extended time with all three of my children especially my youngest who has great anxiety with dentists. Ms. Joy had some special treasures for him to help calm his anxieties. She spent time with all three children explaining what she was doing, how they can have better dental habits, and personally getting to know each of them. My youngest son recently expressed positive feelings about going back to see Ms. Joy.

I called Saturday needing help with my wire that came out of my bracket, although I am not a patient at this office she told me to come in to see if they could help! I was able to get it fixed but this lady was so nice and willingly to help me on a Saturday and even though I'm not a patient there!!!! Your awesome. Thank you.

Dr. Joy is amazing!! She taught me SO MUCH about hygiene & every day care that I've never been taught before. She was so patient to make sure I actually understood everything. My sensitivity & gingivitis is significantly less & she helped me with my permanent retainer. I also have a 6-month-old & she was more than accommodating. I felt so comfortable. You can tell she genuinely cares

Friendly, comforting, understanding, practical, and knowledgeable. Joy made my experience of going to the dentist after 6 years being away from the dentist very enjoyable. She was caring in her approach and made sure that she explained what was going to happen, why, and talked with me as an equal to discuss plans moving forward. She seems to operate on a model of promoting preventative measures and being hesitant to push people into expensive and more serious procedures. She gave me more practical knowledge than I've ever gotten at a dentist and helped me to really understand why certain practices are so helpful in a daily routine. I really felt respected and comforted during my time here, which is new to me at a dentist office. Highly recommend her! (You may want to book early, it sounds like she's pretty popular, for good reason)

We LOVE Joy. She has made me comfortable and optimistic with dentistry after some horribly traumatic past experiences with another dentist, and if that weren't enough already my kids are always begging to go back to "Miss Joy the Tooth Doctor" as they have so lovingly deemed her. We're lucky if we can go 6 months before they're begging to go back. She has really set the standard for my kids who now LOVE going in for their cleanings. Thank you Joy! We are so grateful for you.

Joy is incredible. She goes far and beyond her duties to care for her patients. She is the most gentle hygienist I have ever been to. She cares so much for her patients. I am so grateful for Joy. I would never go see anyone else or trust anyone else with my dental hygiene. She is truly one of a kind. Highly recommended by me and my family.

They just don't make them like Joy. She's more than a dental hygienist, she's a dental perfectionist. Her advice is real, concise, and caring. I came to see her with huge dental problems, and a little over a year later I am now in the green. Her knowledge is paramount and she's willing to share it with you. Some of the best help I've ever had!

Joy makes "seeing the dentist" an enjoyable and educational experience. Due to my autoimmune diseases, it's really challenging to find a dentist that can accommodate my needs- she is simply the best! She's passionate about preventative care, incredibly knowledgable, kind and gentle. I'm so grateful to have found her!

I see Joy for all my cleaning and dental hygiene needs. She also sees my son who loves her so much and really enjoys our visits. She's got a gentle touch and a ton of knowledge to go with it. She can't rush, it's not in her nature. She does a thorough job for all of her patients from start to finish. We're so glad that we have her for our family.
