David Flynn, DDS, is a highly skilled dentist who provides exceptional general dentistry services with a focus on technical surgical procedures. He currently serves patients of all ages at Dental After Hours in Bountiful, Utah.
Dr. Flynn majored in chemistry at Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois, and graduated from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City with a major in predental. He was accepted early to dental school at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2000.
After graduating, Dr. Flynn completed an internship at Highland Hospital in Oakland, California. Hes also studied at the WhiteCap Institute for dental implant training in Heber City, Utah. Hes a member of the Utah Dental Association, the South Davis Dental Association, and the South Davis Dentist Partnership. Hes certified in CPR and is also an Eagle Scout with three palms.
Dr. Flynn practices a conservative approach to dentistry. He never recommends treatments unless he knows for sure that a patients oral health will benefit from them. He also takes the time to make personal connections with his patients, educating them on their conditions and treatment options and making them generally more comfortable and relaxed during their time in the chair.
Dr. Flynn also believes in making high-quality dentistry accessible to everyone. He knows that busy work and school schedules make it difficult to see a dentist during regular office hours, which is why he operates Dental After Hours during more convenient times: 11am-8pm Monday through Thursday, and 9am-6pm on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday every other weekend.

Dr. Flynn is second to none! This is the only dentist I will ever see. I've had several dentist in the past and will never go to any else.

I must say I was very nervous about getting my lips and Botox filled for the first time and not knowing the results, however I had such an amazing experience and results. Dr. David explained exactly what needed to be done. He was very kind and professional. The price I got for filler and Botox was definitely a killer deal. The results are more then what I was expecting. I get compliments about my lips , and Botox. It's so natural . He won't make you look like a duck! I highly recommend him for any Botox and fillers.

This office is amazing! The staff is very sweet and accommodating! I had an issue and they got me in same day! Dr Flynn was very informational and helpful! I really appreciate all the effort and care that was shown today. I highly recommend this office.

I went to Dr. Flynn to get some threading done and some Botox and neither one of them lasted . he also stated under his breath that he was using cheaper material and then he wishes he would've got more expensive material. I would not recommend him for any cosmetic minor invasive surgeries. Also they will not refund half of my money that I asked for when they charge me as much as you can get over ideal image and he wants me to sign a no patient doctor contract. My boyfriend and I will not be going to see him anymore if you choose to use his services , choose with caution. He also had ask my boyfriend to put a review on Google for him and my boyfriend did so with happy vibes and now we are both never going to see Dr. Flynn

I'm really impressed how nice, caring, and knowledgeable Dr Flynn is. He got my mom into see him as soon as possible. He helped us out a ton! He is very affordable with great advice. Definitely recommend him!!

This is the best dental team I have ever had the pleasure to experience. I have always had such a fear of the dentist, due to past experiences, until I was introduced to David. I can't express enough what amazing people David and his team are. You will never find a better group of people. Hilary and Haley and the other employees, including David, are so professional, kind, patient, and treat their patients like family. I put off major dental work for years, because I couldn't find someone that made me feel comfortable and I feared being judged. I will never see another dental team again and would recommend everyone to this office. You 100% will not regret having them work on your mouth. Thank you to everyone in that office for your compassion, acceptance, and treating me above and beyond anything I could have ever imagined.

He is honestly the best dentist ever he told me about a procedure I needed to get done that none of the other dentists that I have seen told me about at all. when I was there for my route canal procedure from a bicycle accident he listened to me about how I have a really high tolerance to the numbing shot so he had to give me the shot while drilling and it went perfect! Didn't feel a thing he's the best dental care professional I have ever met. FYI if you're having a hard time finding his office it is up the street from Smith's, in the dental district left hand side of the road. Once inside his waiting area is on the second floor first door on the left

I had a crown knocked out that couldn't be saved. Not only did they do a root extraction on a Sunday but Easter no less. I was very thankful that Dr Flynn was willing to come in a do this for me. I will be back.

Just wanted to share my experience with After Hours Dental - Dr. Flynn. AMAZING! Haley was able to get me in for a root canal and I had super bad infection. I have a massive fear and anxiety with dentists due to childhood trauma. Dr. Flynn, Haley and Genesis are wonderful! They put me at ease quickley and made sure I was comfortable and not in pain the entire time I was in the chair. My second visit was even better. I didnt feel the need to have assistance for my anxiety and again I was comfortable and at ease. They are a great team and flow very well together. Im so thankful for their services and they genuinely care about you!

I had my wisdom teeth growing in and causing pain, every dentist i called was out 2 to 3 weeks. Dr flynn had avalibility the next day. The receptionist hailey, was gery very sweet, she came and talk to me about thr procedure and all the things they had to help me calm down, she gave me squishies to help my anxiety, she also came in to check on me and make sure i was okay. Dr flynn was very nice and quick. Not only did he look at my wisdom teeth but he noticed another tooth that could be causing a problem as well. He explained everything to me so i understood. He pulled all 3 of my wisdom teeth so fast i was amazed. His dental assistant i cannot remember her name but she was so sweet! She kept me talking and distracted to help ease my anxiety, she noticed i loved dogs and showed me her german shepherd. This place all over is amazing! I will be comong back for all my future denal check ups and cleanings. I highly reccomend dr flynn, not just because of him but his whole staff as well.

I have been putting off getting a tooth pulled for too long!! And was terrified of the dentist but Dr Flynn and Hayley are an amazing team together and put me completely at ease. If you need help, they get you taken care of 100% highly recommended

The BEST dental experiences ever! D.Flynn is very honest and up front with me about the dental work needed to be done on my teeth. He didn't try to fix what wasn't broken to make money. Flynn is super knowledgeable and experienced in the dental field! Also he is patient and kind as he takes his time to make sure you are doing okay, as he's going along! Very Professional! And gets it done right the first time! You WON'T be disappointed after going here! You'll really love going to the dentist!

Dr. Flynn did a fabulous job on crowning two of my teeth. He makes sure the job he does is all around perfection. I couldn't be more pleased & I'll defiantly go back if i need any other work done. Thank you for such a great experience & I recommend him highly for any dental work needed done.

I want to start by saying I HATE going to the dentist. I had a wisdom tooth that was causing me so much pain and discomfort, that I couldn't even enjoy Thanksgiving. Within 20 minutes of calling the first time I was in the chair and x-rays were done to determine it needed to be removed. I want to give a huge shout out to the doctor and the cute assistant that took care of this issue for me to get me back to work in a timely matter.

Best Dentist Experience in Utah! Hailey and Dr. Flynn are great people. They care about people and it shows with the time and effort they spend to make sure that you are fully taken care of. That they resolve your pain ( if you have any) And that you are comfortable. Thanks guys you are both awesome!

I first went to the office right after Thanksgiving. I had a tooth that needed a root canal. I usually have really bad anxiety at the dentist, but Dr. Flynn and his assistant Haley made me feel very at ease! They are both so happy and bubbly. I wish I could give 5 stars. They take care of their patients and stick with it regardless of any problems that might come up. Can't say enough good things about them!
