Dr. VanLaanen joined our practice in July of 2018. She was born and raised in Marinette and is a 2009 graduate of Marinette High School (Allie Parthie). Following graduation, she received a full-ride scholarship to play golf at Northern Illinois University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2014. She then went on to dental school at Marquette University in Milwaukee, where she graduated with honors in May of 2018.
Dr. VanLaanen feels very fortunate to return and work hands-on in the community she grew up in. She strives to provide her patients with up-to-date care in a kind and comfortable environment. She believes her patients deserve the most modern and effective treatments, which requires dedication, constant continuing education and a personal commitment to excellence. She is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Wisconsin Dental Association, Marinette-Oconto Dental Society, and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics.
Dr. VanLaanen resides in Marinette with her husband, Jody, and their rescue pup, Jake. They are members of Life Church in DePere. In her free time, Dr. VanLaanen enjoys spending time with family and staying active. She is an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys scuba diving, kayaking, fishing, and golfing.
Dr. Magnin was a dentist in Marinette for 31 years and is now officially retired. He truly enjoyed working with the people of the community and is grateful for the life-long relationships that he established with his patients. He would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone that he had the privilege of working with over the years.
Dr. Oberdorfer has been a dentist in Marinette for 14 years. He was born in Kingsford, MI and graduated from Kingsford High School in 1999. Following his graduation, he earned his degree in biology from Central Michigan University. He then went onto dental school at Marquette University in Milwaukee, where he graduated with highest honors in 2007.
Dr. Oberdorfer loves working with the people of the community. He has completed advanced training in dental implants and has been placing implants for over 12 years. He enjoys the blend of engineering and art that dentistry provides. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Wisconsin Dental Association, Marinette-Oconto Dental Society, and the Marinette-Menominee Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Oberdorfer resides in Marinette with his wife, Natalie, and their two daughters. They are members of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Peshtigo. Outside of work, he enjoys hunting, fishing, woodworking, and
Marcy is married and has two children, two grandchildren, one dog, and one cat. Outside of work, she enjoys going camping and spending time at their camp, reading, fishing, spending time with family & friends, and is active in her church.
Nancy received her Associate's Degree in dental hygiene from NWTC and has been with our office since 1983. Nancy is married and has five children and four grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with family, reading, and watching sports.
Kelsay earned her Associate's Degree in dental hygiene and has been with our office since 2011. She is married and has two children. She enjoys playing softball, hunting, fishing, and also serves as a volunteer firefighter.
Jayme was previously with our office for seven years as a dental assistant and has now rejoined our team as a dental hygienist. She is married and has twin girls. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, camping, and playing volleyball.
Tori has been with our office since 2007, working with Dr. Dennison until he retired. She now serves as Dr. VanLaanen's dental assistant. Tori has been married for 32 years and has two children and two grandchildren. She enjoys riding bikes, gardening, and skiing.
Melissa has been with our office since 2011, serving primarily as Dr. Oberdorfers dental assistant. Melissa has been married for over a decade. She enjoys camping and spending time with her husband and fur babies. Melissa also has a passion for staying active and running, and completed her first half-marathon in May 2020.
