Dr. Dennis Dunne has been providing excellent pediatric dental care since 1995. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Creighton University and completed a pediatric residency at Baylor University at Texas Scottish Rite and Childrens Medical Center Hospitals in Dallas.
To become a pediatric dental specialist Dr. Dunne had to complete a minimum 24 months in advanced training accredited by the Commission of Accreditation of the American Dental Association (ADA) after completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. He performed this training at Baylor University in Dallas, Texas where such a program was designed to provide special knowledge and skills. He was trained in hospital and sedation dentistry for healthy children and children with special needs. At this program Dr. Dunne was required to provide care, conduct research and teach in a variety of clinical and academic settings including private practice and public health. For children ranging in age from birth to young adulthood.
Dr. Dunne is a member of a number of prestigious organizations including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Oregon Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Lane County Dental Society. Dr. Dunne is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He is also certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
To give back to the community, Dr. Dunne participates with ODS Community Health, Head Start, Looking Glass, the Childrens Dental Program, Boy Scouts of America and the Childrens Miracle Network. He donates to local school auctions and sponsors various local sports teams. He and his staff also volunteer annually with the foster parents association. In his leisure time, he enjoys spending time with his family, sports, traveling and exploring local destinations.

Annie has been working in the dental field since 1997, starting out as a receptionist and trained as a dental assistant, Hospital Coordinator and Accounts Receivable Manager. When Dr. Dunne made his move, Annie made the natural transition to Practice Manager. Having knowledge of all aspects of the pediatric dental office, she can help explain treatment, costs and the inner-workings of your insurance company. Annie has four beautiful children, three boys and one girl, Bailey, Hunter, Porter&Paxton. She enjoys running and anything that involves the sunshine! She is caring, professional and always available to answer any questions you may have.
Jessica has worked for Dr. Dunne since 2006. She is married to her wonderful husband, Erik. They have three children, Jake, Emma and Luke and a very cute labradoodle named Marlee. She enjoys attending all of her kids sporting events, doing anything outdoors, doing DIY projects around the house and vacationing with her family. Jessica is a very outgoing, friendly person who loves working with children.
Ashley has been working with our office since 2008. She started as a student observing and then went to school to become a dental assistant. She assisted with Dr. Dunne for several years and then went back to school to become a dental hygienist. Ashley has been working as a hygienist with our office since 2015. Ashley is a ton of fun and enjoys working with children. Outside of work she spends time with her two children, Bruce & Briar, and husband, Corey. Ashley loves her family, horses and taking her kids on adventures.
Sara started with our office in 2015, she job-shares the front desk position with Jessica. She is warm and kind and always has a bright smile on her face. She loves Duck Football, spending time with her amazing son, Jacob & her friends & family.
Crystal joined our team as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant in 2015 after graduating from Lane Community College. She has since transitioned to being our Treatment and Surgery Coordinator. Crystal loves working with kids and makes every effort to help them and their families have a positive experience that will carry them into their adult years. In her free time, Crystal enjoys spending time with her wife, Samantha, Daughter, Maddison, and their 3 fur babies: Sophie, Bear and Maxwell. They enjoy doing most things outdoors and are always looking for fun adventures to go on or new restaurants to try. Crystals friendly and outgoing personality makes her a great addition to our team.
Coleen has been a dental hygienist since 2014. She absolutely loves working with children. Outside of work she loves spending time with her daughter, family, friends, practicing yoga, biking, paddle boarding and cooking.
Leigh has been a hygienist since 2014, graduating from the LCC program. She grew up in Junction City and is very close to her family. She loves learning about plants, flowers & gardening. She especially loves making flower bouquets. She has a love of history, fashion and music. Her hobbies include walking, running, cycling, playing dress-up, taking photos, various forms of art, painting and hanging out with her Aunts little pup, Sophie.
Alexa joined our team as a Dental Assistant in May of 2021. She loves working with children and seeing all of their cute personalities. She has one adorable son, Rowen, and they love to spend time outdoors, swimming, going to the park and traveling to new places. Alexas calm and sweet personality helps all our patients feel comfortable and well cared for.
Lizzy is one of our Dental Assistants, she joined our office after completing the Dental Assisting Program at LCC in 2020. Before going to school Lizzy had worked in daycares around Eugene for about five years. She grew up on the Oregon Coast but has loved being in Eugene the last few years. She lives here with her husband, Calvin, her puppy, Ted, and cat, Juju. Lizzy works side by side with Dr. Dunne to provide a fun and enjoyable dental experience for all our kiddos.

Hands down the best pediatric dentist office weve been to. My daughter has crippling anxiety and handled her with the utmost respect and care. Never pushed her to get her mouth x rays but rather took a head x-Ray so she didnt freak out. As a mother, that really put me at ease since finding a dental office that will take a patient such as her is rather difficult to find. I highly recommend this office. The whole office staff is super sweet and loves to share a laugh with you.
We had a great experience here with my 5yo with ASD and sensory issues. They seem to really get kids. We were having a hectic morning with my baby untimely diaper changes, construction, a husband with jury duty, got lost So, we were late and I was stressed and juggling a baby as well as my 5yo, but they were very kind and put us right at ease. My kiddo had had a previous negative experience with a different dentist and was nervous but there was no problem here. They were very friendly and patient with him and explained everything and got his consent before doing it. Lots of choices were offered which goes a long way. The office decor was fun for kids, pretty views overlooking the river, kids get a special coin for a toy machine at the end and more. I was really blown away by how well it all went and my son is excited to go back in 6 months. Happy kid happy mama.
Very friendly staff, amazing hygienists and Dr. Dunne is exceptional with my kids. He is quick and very knowledgeable. He has a great sense of humor with the kids. My son has major anxiety when going to the dentist, Dr. Dunne finds a way to distract him and get the job done quickly. The hygienists take their time with him too. I would recommend this office to anyone with kiddos.
