My first appointment was a year and a half ago; my son had an appointment here as well. The appointment went well. Fast forward to lst week. I have called 3 times and sent an email and I have heard nothing back. It's clear that they do not value current patients or care if they return. I am in search of a more reliable practice.

I went to Denna Dental in May 2021 for a scheduled cleaning. I got x-rays taken and was brought to the exam room. The dentist looked in my mouth briefly, said I needed a "deep cleaning," and sent me home without doing anything - no cleaning, no scaling, nothing! I was so confused when I left because I made an appointment for a cleaning and didn't get one. I was told the dentist would submit a request to my insurance to see if they would cover a deep cleaning, and I would receive a letter with the EOB/cost from my insurance. Three months later, I still hadn't received anything from my insurance company. I called them and was informed that they did not have any pending claims or requests. I then reached out to Denna and asked if the request could be re-submitted. When I finally received the EOB from my insurance, it stated that they would not cover this procedure. As requested by Dr. Mostavi, I emailed a copy of this letter to the practice - the response said that it would be cheaper if I "didn't use insurance," but I declined because it was still almost $300 for the deep cleaning. Several months later in March 2022, when I surpassed the waiting period for my dental insurance, I called Denna Dental asking if they could submit a new request for the procedure to see if my insurance would then cover it. Never got a call back and my insurance did not receive anything. I tried calling several times over the next few weeks but never managed to get anything but voicemail. Fast forward to August 2022, and I decided to try a different dentist because I was tired of waiting around for someone at Denna to pick up the phone. I went to another practice in Clifton Park and had a wonderful experience getting a cleaning. When I mentioned to the hygienist that I had been refused a cleaning at Denna Dental because I needed a "deep clean" before Dr. Mostavi would do one, she literally balked! My gums are perfect - no sign of gum disease whatsoever. Denna Dental did not perform any of the necessary checks for gum disease, and even if they did, the "deep clean" would be completely unnecessary and inappropriate. I never leave bad reviews, but this experience left a very bad taste in my mouth. I can't help but feel like the practice was intentionally trying to rip me off and give me a procedure I did not need. I just want to make sure people are informed before going to this practice. I saw another reviewer mention the "deep cleaning" nonsense, so I wonder if this is a common thing done at Denna Dental.

I've been coming to this practice for a little over 2 years now, and I can say I have never experienced such kindness, sympathetic, caring hygienists & dentist. I've struggled my ENTIRE life with dental anxiety. Dr. Mostavi has helped me every step of the way to making me proud to smile once again with my teeth. Thank you guys for all that you do! :)

All the staff are so nice and very professional,you can tell they all love working there and Dr. Mostavi is so nice and easy to talk to. Definitely the best dentist and staff I have ever had.

I came here for cavities and tooth pain in a specific tooth. Before even looking inside my mouth I was told I would need a deep cleaning. Three visits to this office and not once did they look at the problem tooth. The filings I got are absolutely horrendous. There are still numerous cavities that need to be filled. I NEVER even received a normal cleaning. Was told I would receive a referral to someone for a root canal or extraction, still have not received that referral. I'm in with a new dentist and will update with how much damage this "dentist" did to my mouth. 0/5 stars!!!! Don't go here!!!!!!!!!!

First I want to say that if I could give this place negative stars I would! They don't like to return phone calls or even answer the phone. They also don't like to call & remind you of appointments. But when they finally did answer I was told that I was no longer allowed at the practice because I supposedly missed 3 appointments. I asked for a reconsideration because two of the appointments I had no knowledge of. The one appointment I missed because I was so ill for months i couldn't even get out of bed. I had to see every specialist from ent to cardiology before I could get a reason. I asked them to keep that in mind when asking for a reconsideration. I was told I would receive a call back the next day with an answer. Which I never did I had to call them to see what decision was made to be told they were dismissing me as a patient. They clearly don't care much for their patients & their health(teeth or not).

Excellent service, went above and beyond the simple cleaning that was originally scheduled. Very quick, very friendly, 10/10 totally changed my opinion on dentists.

In March 2022 at my first new patient appointment the receptionist took a panoramic X-ray of my teeth and then told me her personal interpretation of the results before even showing the results to the dentist. The receptionist told me I had "significant bone loss" in my lower jaw (I am a 27 year old with very good at home oral care and no prior history of dental issues). The receptionist proceeded to tell me I'd need a "deep clean" (aka Scaling and Root Planing) before receiving instructions from the dentist, and I never was never even seen by a hygienist or the dentist. Nobody ever even looked in my mouth!!! I called back the office twice for more information from the dentist because I was concerned with this news and they never returned my calls. I returned to the office the next day and the dentist "was busy" and would not be able to discuss this significant diagnosis. I proceeded to get a second opinion from my old dentist and he said that bone loss cannot be diagnosed exclusively by a panoramic X-ray, and that bite wing images and an oral exam are necessary before going down that road. His hygienist took new bite wing X-rays and examined my teeth/gums, revealing NO bone loss and NO need for requesting a Scaling and Root Planing from my insurance. I work as a healthcare provider and this was the most uncomfortable and bizarre experience of my life as a patient. This "deep cleaning" would have been painful and absolutely unnecessary. This was highly unethical and a very unprofessional encounter.

Dr. Mostavi is the best Dentist that I have ever gone too. She is very warm, friendly, and down to earth. She takes the time to explain and show you your X-rays. Also, she cleans your teeth as well. Also, her office manager, Kaylee is very kind and helpful. She is very personable and easy to talk to. I highly recommend Denna Dental and I look forward to returning for my next appointment!

I have been doctor Mostavi's patient for about 5 years now. She is a knowledgable and meticulous dentist and a caring individual. She listened to my concerns and fears the first time I saw her years ago while I was shaking in the chair due to high level of anxiety. I had to take anxiety pills just to be able to get a simple cleaning. Now I got my Implant completed by her with no anxiety pills and it is all because of her great chair side manner and the way she treated me over the years. I really appreciate her dedication to taking care of the patients including myself (I know I am not an easy patient). Thank you doctor Mostavi and your great team.

I highly recommend this place. Dr. Mostavi is an artist. She made a set of cosmetic crowns and veneers for me. A total transformation! I couldn't imagine to get such a beautiful smile. I even feel healthier and more motivated about taking care of my overall health. The process needed a few appointments but considering my anxiety, I felt relaxed for all of them. I really appreciate Denna Dental team. I love my smile. Thank you very much.

Ive called at least 10 times in one day have yet to get an answer it was also at multiple times of the day i needed to reschedule an appt also last time they gave me fillings they left a cut on my lip while it was numb

My appointment was scheduled for 1pm. I didn't get seen by the dentist until 2pm. What is the sense of appointments? If I was late they would cancel and still bill me, but I waited for an hour to be told they couldn't do anything but pull my teeth. The receptionist has as much personality as her ring on her finger. Worst experience of my life, and I hate dentists. This is exactly why!! No where in the emails, phone calls when we spoke did your receptionist say it would be a 90 min appointment. If I knew this I would have scheduled earlier in the day, to wait just as long. I wasn't waiting because tech wasn't going over X-rays for an hour, the dentist had another patient. So if the dentist was doing something big before hand, patients should be made aware of the time frame, I didn't plan for my whole day to be in a dentist office.

I recently had my cosmetic work done by Dr. Mostavi. She is an artist! I absolutely love my smile. It is a huge change in my confidence and overall personality. Her office and staff are great. I can't thank you enough for creating such a beautiful smile for me.

My girlfriend went today as a new patient first time visit and had 2 major cavities and was in and out in an hour. She said it was the cleanest most friendly dentist she has ever seen. I am going to make an appointment for myself now!

First office visit for me with Dr. Mostavi was a fantastic calming experience. I'm very nervous about the dentist, Her and her staff were very kind and gentle. It has taken me years to find a dentist that I'm willing to go back to after the first visit. I definitely recommend if your a nervous patient like me.
