Dr. Hartzog is a 2009 graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina School of Dentistry. Dr. Hartzog was raised in rural South Carolina and enjoys practicing dentistry in a rural community environment where there is a stronger interpersonal Doctor/patient relationship than normally found in larger cities. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife Cadra and their two boys.
Dr. Brian Kirkland grew up in Landenberg, PA. After graduating high school, he made his way to South Carolina to attend Clemson University. In May of 2015, Dr. Kirkland received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Bioengineering, with an emphasis in Materials Science. Following his time at Clemson, Dr. Kirkland headed to Charleston, SC, to attend the James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine at MUSC where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in May of 2019.
Dr. Kirkland is a member of the South Carolina Dental Association, American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Kirkland enjoys seeing patients of all ages. He is committed to delivering quality dentistry to patients and attends continuing education courses to stay abreast of the changes occurring in dentistry. Dr. Kirkland is passionate about providing dental care to the underserved. While at MUSC, he traveled to La Gonave, Haiti, for a week-long dental mission trip, providing dental health care to the local community with fellow student and dentist colleagues.
Dr. Kirkland married his college sweetheart, Grace, in May of 2015. Together they enjoy golf, the outdoors, and playing with their dog, Byrnes. They spend weekends in the Fall cheering on their Clemson Tigers football team. After making the move from Charleston, they are excited to be active in the Orangeburg and St. Matthews communities!
Dr. J. Harrison Josey is a Florence native and graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Josey completed his undergrad at Clemson University and enjoys fishing, golfing, spending time on the water and all things Clemson football when he's not handling your dental needs.

So, unfortunately, I have to use my son's page to post my experience there at DENMARK FAMILY DENTAL. MY Name is Polly Gillison and I have been so unhappy with my teeth ever since I gave birth to my son who is now 17 years old. I was told that I had to get all my teeth pulled and and get partials. However, that wasn't true. Thank God for Dr. Cherin at Denmark family dental! She is such a life saver. Her and her nurse Tasha worked so diligently today getting my teeth back to where they needs to be . I can smile again! And I'm so so excited! To anyone, that's struggling with their smile or any dental issues, I recommend Denmark Family Dental they are the GREATEST! YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!

All of the staff are so nice, competent and caring. I have been going to this office for approximately 20 years. Dr. Harrison Josey is a very knowledgeable dentist. He, along with the hygienists and dental assistant, makes going to the dentist a good experience!

I took my daughter here in two separate occasions. Both times the staff was very courteous and professional. They took their time to ease any concerns my little one may have had when it came to getting her cavities filled.

Dr josey is an amazing dentist. I was in and out after about 15 minutes. He only had to numb twice, I didn't even feel the numbing needle and he calmed my nerves. I didnt feel anything he did. He and his staff are amazing in every way. Definitely reccomend. It was a GREAT experience and I hate dentists but he is amazing!
