Denmark Dental has been serving the Eagan area for more than 40 years and is operated by an experienced, caring team that is committed to delivering high-quality family and cosmetic dentistry to our patients. In addition to preventative care, his interests include complex cosmetic and restorative dentistry, and managing patients with temporomandibular disorders (TMD). Dr. Helgeson is passionate about providing you and your family with the highest quality dentistry in a relaxing environment.
Dr. Lisa Edstrom is a native of Apple Valley and attended college at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul. She was a biology major, an accomplished volleyball player, and was active in numerous health professional clubs. Dr. Edstrom obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2009 at the University of Minnesota and has been in private practice in the south metro area for the past ten years.
Dr. Edstroms dental philosophy is to provide care in a relaxing yet thorough manner. She enjoys building long-term relationships with her patients and looks forward to growing new ones every day. She is a strong believer in lifelong learning. Her advanced education includes dental implant training at the world-renowned Misch International Implant Institute, training and certification in Invisalign, and a Master Level certification as a Fast Braces provider. In addition to general dentistry, Dr. Edstrom also performs root canals, extractions, cosmetic and complex cases.
Dr. Edstrom and her husband, Matt reside in the Eagan area and have two daughters. When not at home, Dr. Edstrom likes to spend as much time as possible at their family lake cabin in the Alexandria area.

Great group of dentists & hygienists. Explains the pro/cons with proceeding or not going forward with proposed plans for more difficult procedures. Zero pressure and genuinely nice people to converse with.

Won't submit claims for Ucare even though they are in Network. There's a dog in the office which is gross and unsanitary that gives me anxiety. I guess it's a "service" animal. You'd think there would be an allergy warning at the door.

I have always had a dentist phobia and am a big needle baby. I have finally found a dental practice that is amazing. They make the experience as painless as possible, yes - I still feel the novocaine a bit, but not nearly as much as I have in the past. They let me have the gas on high and Annette always brings me the CD player with Yanne playing full blast so I don't hear the drill. They have never made me feel foolish for being so nervous and for requiring so much distraction. Doctor Helgeson is wonderful, is patient and is so careful to try and not cause pain. Wonderful place - still hate to go to the dentist but this place is as good as it gets. Patti Elton

Excellent, efficient customer service, friendly staff, and flexible hours. Dr. Helgeson is fantastic and takes time to listen to you and discuss all aspects of your dental health and care. Also, ask for Molly, she's a phenomenal, highly skilled, personable hygienist! Always pleased with my care and would find it hard to trust anyone else to provide as great of service!

I am a new patient to this office and after just one visit, I am having my entire family switch from our old office to Denmark Dental! I recently suffered an injury which resulted in slight damage to a few of my teeth and the staff made me feel so cared for from the moment I walked in. I can't recommend them enough! The nicest dentist office I have ever been to and very professional. So glad I found this dental office!

Had such a wonderful time with Dr. Helgison and Jenny his assistant. They make you feel like family ( had a clean bill of health . ). Molly was sooo gentle when cleaning. Your teeth and very pleasant to talk with. I give the office ten stars. I come from South Carolina to see them.

I wish i could give 10 stars. I felt completely taken care of from the moment I walked into Denmark Dental. I have a lot of experience in customer service, and when it's top notch you remember it. Dr. Helgeson took a lot of time to educate me on different routes we could go. He was very honest and made me feel extremely comfortable with our decision. He was very professional, kind and I was blown away with the results. My smile is something so important to me, and Dr. Helgeson transformed it for me! Thank you for everything, Highly recommend!!!!

I honestly don't know where to begin. From the moment I arrived for my appointment and to leaving the office, my whole experience was amazing.
