Denise Hering holds a Bachelor of Science from Purdue University and aDoctor of Dental Surgery from The Ohio State University College ofDentistry. She has been in private practice since 1985. She is an AssistantProfessor in the Restorative Department at the College of Dentistry. Dr.Hering is an active member of the American Dental Association. She is apast president of the Columbus Dental Society. She is a RegisteredParliamentarian, and currently serves as the Speaker of the House of theOhio Dental Association. She is a Fellow of the International College ofDentists, the Pierre Fauchard Academy and the American College of Dentist.
Dr. Ehrbar received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Miami University, her Master of Science degree from the University of Illinois and her Doctor of Dental Surgery from The Ohio State University. As a veteran in the dental field Dr. Ehrbar stays informed and abreast of current topics and techniques as member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association and the Columbus Dental Society.
She practiced a number of years for the State of Ohio as a dentist in a mens prison, and is fairly easily persuaded to share little anecdotal stories from her experiences there! In private dentistry she has been in practice for over 20 years in multi-doctor practices. She has a broad skill set in general dentistry, and in addition has been trained in Invisalign and laser treatment.
Her patients describe her as kind, competent and very gentle; and frequently known to be wearing colorful socks of the season. On her off days Dr. Ehrbar spends time serving her community through various volunteer works, including events run by her church. She enjoys gardening and birdwatching, OSU football and Cleveland Indians baseball (still hopeful of that most elusive World Series Victory!)

I was recommended to them by a family friend. I have been prone to having a lot of bad luck when it comes to teeth. I've been known to get a lot of cavities and don't have insurance so I was very hesitant to come. They were upfront with pricing, very friendly and it was a very pleasant appointment. I was able to get 4 cavities filled and they explained everything in great detail. I absolutely ADORE this practice and will be coming for all future appointments. If you are questioning making an appointment , please do! They are such an amazing staff and practice.

Hands down, best medical experience I've ever had, let alone dentist visit. The receptionist was super nice, Wendy did a great job of making me feel my oral health was important and taken care of and Dr. Hering managed to keep me calm and relaxed during an hour long procedure I was terrified to even have done. I didn't feel a thing and I got over a lot of anxiety simply by her clearly explaining what she was doing. Amazing visit, I'm even looking forward to my next one

Excellent!! Every member of the staff is super qualified and professional. My visits have been totally stress free. This is the first time in my life that I don't dread "going to the dentist". I highly recommend this office. They are the best!

My fear and anxiety about dental work kept me from going to the dentist for many years. But when a problem arose, I called Hering Dental (for the first time). From Sarah, who answered the phone and got me right in for an appointment, to Angie taking the fastest x-rays, to Dr. Richards treating me with the most gentle hands and great conversation; I couldn't have had a better experience. Each and every one of them made me feel comfortable despite my fears. Having dental work isn't the most pleasant experience, but having such kind treatment made it doable for me. I'm so grateful to have found Hering Dental!
