Dr. Constandelis was born and raised in Paterson, NJ. As a child, Dr. Constandelis had a rare disease called eosinophilic granuloma. As a result he spent a lot of time at the dentist and from thirteen years old on dreamed of becoming a dentist. He attended Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, NJ where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in 1971. He then went on to attend Georgetown University School of Dentistrywhere he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1976. Soon after graduating, his childhood dentist called upon him to join his practice in his hometown of Paterson, NJ. Dr. Constandelis soon thereafter purchased that practice in March of 1977 and has been in private practice for 35 years!
In 1983 the practice was moved to its present location in Clifton, NJ. Dr. Constandelis is involved in many dental organizations, the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association, and the Passaic County Dental Society where he has served as a past president and continues to sit on the Board of Trustees.
Dr. Constandelis is also very involved in his community. He was the past president of his churchs AHEPA (American Hellenic Educational and Progressive Association) chapter for threee years in a row and is a long standing member of the church choir group. In his spare time Dr. Constandelis enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, fishing and cruising in his antique cars. He is an active member of the GTO club of NJ, along with the Corvette club of NJ and can be seen cruising in his classic cars around town!
Dr. Dena Constandelis was born and raised in Bloomfield, NJ. She attended Georgetown University in Washington, DC where she earned a Bachelors of Science degree in 2005. She later decided to follow in her fathers footsteps of becoming a dentist and in 2010 earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree from theUniversity of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She then went on to complete a year long General Practice Residency at Mountainside Hospital in Montclair, NJ.
In July 2011 she joined her fathers practice in Clifton, NJ and has since implemented many new technologies in the practice. Dr. Dena, along with her father, is a member of the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association, and the Passaic County Dental Society. She currently holds the office of Secretary and also sits on the Board of Trustees in her component county dental society.
Dr. Dena enjoys getting to know all the patients of the practice and making them part of her new family. She is committed to learning and constantly continues to improve upon her skills in dentistry. In her free time, she enjoys reading, trying new restaurants, and running.

As a new patient to the practice, I was equally impressed and thankful for my visit with Dr. Dena. The office space is characterized by peaceful and soothing color palates, state of the art tools/equipment and immaculate cleanliness. There was minimal waiting for my scheduled appointment and the practice staff were friendly and prompt in accommodating their patients. Dr. Dena was thorough in conducting her assessment of my tooth/jaw pain, highly knowledgeable in identifying and suggesting interventions, and empathic in discussing the remedying process. Dr. Dena is a thoughtful and attentive practitioner whom I am lucky to have connected with for my ongoing dental needs!

The team at Constendelis dental is unmatched! They are gentle, caring and so welcoming. I continue to travel from Delaware for dental care because I could not imagine going elsewhere. I could give more than 5 stars. Dr. Teddy and Dr. Dena are wonderful, caring and compassionate. I am more than a little nervous when having anything done and Dr. Dena always waits until I am calm and ready. She is very reassuring. When friends ask me for a dentist I always recommend Dr. Constandelis (both of them). I've been going there since I was a kid. You will not fine anyone better !

I've seen Dr. Dena for a few years now. Her establishment gives the best service I've seen in the last 15 years. Professionalism and hospitality is shown as soon as you walk through the door. She is a delight, as well as her staff. The office itself is quite nice and you feel right at home. 6 out of 5 stars for me!
