If I could rate Dr. Dempsey alone, this rating would be 10 stars; however, the front office staff makes that rating impossible. I'm usually not one to leave reviews but the customer service skills of the front office staff are absolutely ridiculous! I've had a few instances of poor customer service and have let it slide but this time took the cake! My 17 year old son was taken to the office by his elderly grandma and they unfortunately forgot to bring his mask. He went into the office and was instructed to go back to the car to look for a mask. Thankfully, my mom had a used mask for him to use in the car (I'm not even going to go into how horrible it was for them to feel pressured to use a mask that had been already worn by someone else). They proceeded into the office and low and behold shortly after a young man approximately the same age as my son came in without a mask and was offered a mask by the front desk. The only difference between these two was ethnicity! I called to complain to the office manager and I was fed lies about how the young man's appointment was right at that time and having him look for a mask would have resulted in him delaying other patients. However, my son was the one with an 11 am appointment and was taken back almost immediately while the other young man sat for 10 minutes in the waiting room. To make matters worse, the office manager told me, they normally charge a dollar for masks and everyone is asked to look in their car. So, you mean to tell me most patients likely pay at least a few grand for braces and a complimentary mask can't be provided to a minor?! How presumptuous to assume a minor or anyone for that matter would have a mask, let alone a clean mask, lying around in their car. We wear masks with no problem but from time to time mistakes happen! Every medical facility I've ever been to have offered people masks with no charge and have them readily available for their patients, if needed. This isn't a habit, this was an isolated incident. If we hadn't invested so much money into treatment already, I would gladly take our business elsewhere. Again, Dr. Dempsey is amazing and I would have never left this review if the office staff could have been honest about what really happened instead of making excuses! The customer service of any office is truly what makes or breaks the patient experience.

Today was my son's first visit/consultation for his braces and everyone was so nice. Dr Dempsey is so honest, sweet and so kind, I appreciated all the information we were given today. I would definitely recommend to family and friends.

One of the best places to get braces! They make sure your teeth come out as best as they possibly can and it's always near perfect!

It's been a few years since I got my braces off. The last time I was there was before the pandemic. I was appointed to go back but everything closed down. Usually they are good at notifying you about your next check up but I never got a call/text to go back. As far as I'm concerned I was due for another appointment. Experience: When I was first recommended to this place, I should've known better not to take it. I would've appreciated it if they refer me to a place that will actually take my insurance. Front desk is okay some days. The others in the back knows what they're doing but they do talk a lot among themselves. I was there for a good 3-4 years. End result: I wish they would've taken the time to follow through and check up on me before taking the braces off. (things can get overwhelming for me). I was left with gaps between my back teeth. So food are always getting stuck there, and it would get irritated often. Dr. Dempsey is nice and knowledgeable, but she didn't do so well cleaning my teeth. This was my first time getting braces. Having straighter teeth now doesn't mean my teeth are in the best condition that it costs.

Got my braces off yesterday and it was amazing! I had them for about 5 years and they made sure I was happy with results before taking them off! Awesome staff and Dr!

My experience getting braces at Dr. Dempsey couldn't have been much better. To start off, Dr. Dempsey herself is a very passionate person along with her working crew who wants to make everyone's smile better. They know how to handle each corner of a situation and while along they make you feel welcomed as they do their job and get you ready to show a full bright smile.

We absolutely love Dr. Dempsey. Myself and my 3 children have amazing results! All of us have completed orthodontic treatment with Dr. Dempsey and we all love our smiles!!!!! Great doctor and great staff!

Dr. Dempsey is the best orthodontist in town! Besides quick service she is the kindest! She really takes her time and make sure you have the best smile possible! My treatment was for 4 years and it was that long because she didn't like the position of one of my teeth and she didn't give up or finish my treatment until she was completely satisfied. I appreciate her so much because now EVERYONE notices my smile first and I get so many compliments! And you can't forget her team! Best staff ever! I recommend to everyone needing braces to go with her. Thank you Dr. Dempsey & staff!

Dr Dempsey is a class act! She is professional and very knowledgeable in her field. I suffered a catastrophic Motorcycle accident vs 13 ton truck head on and suffered major facial trauma. My teeth/mouth had to go thru a multi phase rebuild. All the Orthodontists that I consulted with either denied my case or had no idea how to proceed and advised me to go out of the Fresno area. Dr Dempsey had a detailed plan to give me back my wonderful smile. After several years of treatment I have a perfect happy smile. I always get compliments on my teeth and smile. Not only is she resourceful but her appointments are timely and all of her staff are professional happy people. I highly recommend Dr Dempsey for your orthodontic care, she's the BEST!!!

the ONLY orthodontist I would ever trust with my teeth as well as my children's If they ever need them. I had very crooked teeth, and she made them look amazing! she always talks to the patient and makes conversation and always takes her time to get to know you as a person, and as well as her patient. You can tell she really loves her work and wants only the best for her patients.
