Dr. Demko received her B.S. from St. Marys College, her D.D.S. from the University of Missouri, Kansas City, and her M.S.D. in Orthodontics from St. Louis University. Active in her practice, Dr. Demko is a member of the American Dental Association, the World Federation of Orthodontists, the Missouri State Dental Society, the Greater St. Louis Dental Society, the American Association of Orthodontists, and the St. Louis Research and Education Foundation. She has conducted extensive research in facial attractiveness, published by St. Louis University, and in addition to her practice and staffing at St. Lukes hospital, she also lectures and speaks in seminars and study clubs (a few have included: Invisalign, Greater St Louis Dental Society, MDA Leadership Symposium).

Dr. Demko resides in Chesterfield with her three dogs. Sheloves little more than a great dinner with good friends, crossing items off her bucket list, travel, and activities like glass blowing or painting. She is involved in numerous local charities including her own,CODE:SMiLE, and actively participates in her alumnae associations.

Dr. Demko hand picks and cross trains her entire staff, resulting in an extremely informed, well-versed, and capable team that can address all patient needs and questions. Because of their talent, passion, and synergy, the Demko team is ready and able to handle all orthodontics issues, no matter how challenging they may be.

In her spare time you can find Jess watching her 3 boys play sports or hanging with her husband and family. Jessicas favorite thing about working at Demko is watching patients finish their treatment with their Demko Smile

In Gabbys spare time, she is either traveling, spending time with family, friends and her boyfriend Kyle or playing volleyball. Her favorite part of the job is interacting with patients and making sure they get the Demko experience every time.

Kirsche joined Demko in February 2022. She is from OFallon, MO and is the Treatment Coordinator for our St. Charles and Chesterfield locations. In her spare time she loves sewing, needle point, reading or hanging out with her Daughter.

Kirsches favorite thing about Demko is that we always look at the whole picture. We dont just focus on the teeth, we focus on the patient. She loves working here because she loves helping people find a smile they can be proud of.

Kerry has worked for Dr. Demko for more than 18 years. She started out as clinical assistant, then patient coordinator, now as treatment coordinator. She enjoys getting to know the patients and families of the practice. She says she loves watching the kids of the practice grow up.

Sydni joined Demko in July 2014. She loves to help create memorable smiles so much that not only is she the Patient Coordinator but is cross-trained so you can sometimes find her in the clinic with patients as well.

You can often find Sydni out with her family watching her daughter Kaitlyn at a soccer field or basketball court. She also loves exploring new hiking trails, camping, spending time with family and friends, or going to any of her multiple nieces and nephews sporting events.

Debbie has been with Demko Orthodontics since January 2003. She has been in the dental field most of her working years and in orthodontics for over 35 years. She is a clinical assistant and lab technician.

Debbie is married and loves to spend time with her family, most of all with her grandkids. She loves to work in the garden and for quiet time loves to sit and read a good book. She likes working for Demko because we actually change lives. We can give them a better smile, better breathing and better confidence.

In his spare time, you can find him playing golf with his grandfather or spending time with family and close friends. When Travis is not cracking a joke, he enjoys video games and paintball as well. Travis likes working for Demko because he likes to see the reactions on our patients face after taking off their braces or finishing Invisalign.

Gina started out as an Intern in January and then loved it so much she became a Clinic Staff member. Gina is from St. Clair MO and recently graduated from MidWest Institutes with her dental assistant certification.

In Ginas spare time she really loves spending time with her boyfriend, family and friends and her fur baby. Her favorite thing about Demko is working with patients and making their smiles become a reality. On the job Gina loves learning new things!

In her spare time you can find her at the lake of the ozarks, playing golf or being outdoors. Kylies favorite thing about Demko is that no days are the same and that there is always something different to learn and do!

CODE:SMiLE is a nonprofit organization established to facilitate healthy dialogue and character building skills in young adults. Dr. Demko believes true beauty radiates from within, and the most beautiful smiles begin on the inside. Our goal at CODE:SMiLE is to collaborate with inspirational mentors and parents to teach young adults that differences and personal struggles dont need to define their lives, but can actually make them stronger leaders in their communities and beyond.

Middle and early high school was difficult for Dr. Demko, because like many teens, she had to overcome hurdles such as a learning disability, weight issues, peer pressure, and bullies. Her father worked to instill particular values of strength and confidence, despite the issues that Jackie faced on a daily basis. And each value was accompanied by a personal story, which only made it more powerful.

Taking a cue from her father, Dr. Demko often shares her own stories in her private practice. Patients are able to take the lessons from her struggles and find the inspiration to handle their own issues, while parents appreciate the candor and effort to provide more than just dental work. After seeing the success of this practice and wanting to create more impact, Dr. Demko held the first CODE: SMiLE event on April 15, 2008. Families from her practice and other members of the public were invited to hear the stories of three local celebrities (McGraw Milhaven, Heather Hawk and David Vabora).

CODE:SMiLE is actively looking for more partnerships and is planning more events centered around bringing self-esteem and smiles to the St. Louis metro area and eventually worldwide. In addition to funding the Hummer transportation program, Demko Orthodontics has already donated more than ten thousand dollars in treatments to CODE:SMiLE.
