Our goal at DeMers Dental is to help all of our patients value their oral health and help them retain their teeth for the remainder of their lives in comfort, function and esthetics. We accomplish this by staying up to date with the most current dental technology, many hours of continuing education, but most importantly listening to our patients. Our primary concern is the patient first and our goal is to make all patients feel like they are heard and appreciated, regardless of their dental situation.
Dr. Erickson is a North Dakota native who grew up near the Turtle Mountains in Bottineau, North Dakota. She attended the University of North Dakota and graduated with Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in 2006. She then attended Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska where she graduated with her degree as a Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2010. She and her husband moved back to the Grand Forks/East Grand Forks area to be near family and friends. They have three children who keep them very busy.
She comes from a medical background and knew from an early age she wanted to become a medical professional. After job shadowing several different medical careers she chose dentistry. Dr. Erickson felt that dentistry was right for her for several reasons. Most importantly, of the many medical fields she observed she felt the dental profession had the privilege of getting to know their patients very well. It also grants practitioners the benefit of autonomy where decisions about treatment are made based on the patients needs and not dictated by a governing hospital or insurance company. Dentistry also provides regular hours allowing her to enjoy more time being a mother and wife. She has a passion for continuing education and travels often to learn the most update information especially regarding comprehensive care including airway, TMD and sleep. She is a visiting faculty member at the Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, Florida and loves to help educate as well.
A native of the area, Dr. Stadem spent the early years of his life in Twin Valley Minnesota and graduated high school from Crookston Minnesota. After high school he attended Moorhead State College and received a degree in biology. He was then accepted to the University of Minnesota Dental School and graduated in 1980. He was awarded the Alpha Omega award for attaining the highest scholastic standing in his graduating dental class.
After dental school graduation Dr. Stadem and his wife DeeDee opened a dental practice in East Grand Forks. Since graduation Dr. Stadem has continued his studies with the Dawson Academy and the Pankey Institute and as a member of the American Equilibration Society. He also attends many continuing education meetings each year and is an active member in two dental study clubs. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Minnesota Dental Association and the Northwest District Dental Society.
Dr. Stadem feels truly blessed with a wonderful supportive staff and to practice a profession that he loves. He and his staff are grateful for the many patients who place their trust in them for their dental care.
An untreated tongue or lip tie can severely impact the breast feeding process and can lead to speech, breathing, TMD and sleep issues later in life. Dr. Erickson has received specialized training in the diagnosis and release of tongue and lip ties. She has revised over 70 cases and has lectured on the topic both locally and at the Pankey Institute.

Top Notch! My 6 year old son had a horrible toothache last weekend. I called 12 dental offices first thing Monday morning. Demers Dental was the only office able to see us that same day. The receptionist I spoke to was so caring, understanding and very patient. Dr Erickson and the Dental Hygenist that treated my son were beyond amazing. They took their time and explained everything to him. Thank you all, from the bottom of my heart!

DeMers Dental is a wonderful dental office. The staff is very friendly and kind and helpful. The hygienists are so easy to visit with and do a great job. Dr. Erickson has helped answer many questions for our family and overall is a great dentist! My kids (8, 6, and 3) love going to the dentist and that says a lot!!

I absolutely love being a patient at DeMer's Dental!! I've had multiple bad experiences in the past and always hated going to the dentist. All of that changed when I started going to DeMer's. Dr.'s Paul and Chelsea are both absolutely wonderful!! So kind, gentle and explain everything thoroughly. They are always up on the latest treatments and options for the best care. My hygienist, Jennie, is also very gentle, knowledgeable and makes my appointments fun. Never thought I'd say that about going to the dentist!! From the front desk staff to all of the assistants and hygienists.....everyone is so kind and professional. They always greet me by name and are genuinely concerned about me as a person....not just a patient. They are just the absolute BEST!! I drive 3 hours one-way for my appointments and I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else!! Keep up the great work DeMer's Dental!!

Dr Erickson was one of our best participants at The Pankey Institute in Florida, dentistry's premier continuing education venue. Every current or potential patient of Dr Erickson should know what a wonderful, dedicated doctor she is and her commitment to be one of the very best in our profession. Dr Erickson has deep compassion for her patients and makes considerable uncommon sacrifice to educate herself so she can offer her best. The staff and dentists at DeMers Dental are amazing! They are so welcoming and inviting when you come into the office. I went in and started splint therapy which was probably the best move I have ever made. They worry not only about your mouth but the rest of your body as well which makes it a great opportunity to learn more about your body then you thought. They explain everything to you as they are going through it. I would recommend anyone and everyone to go there. You will not be disappointed when you leave!

Dr. Stadem & Dr. Erickson are both amazing dentists! Dr. Stadem is my primary dentist and he is by far the most brilliant doctor I have ever had help me with my TMJ problems. He knows EVERYTHING there is to know about my jaw pain & discomfort and has helped me tremendously! Dr. Erickson is a great dentist as well and is on her way to becoming as brilliant of a dentist as Dr. Stadem is! Their employees are the nicest group of women who somehow know your name when you walk in the door which makes you feel like you matter! Their practice is very beautiful inside & out!
