Technology plays a big part in what we do here. Our digital scanner eliminates the need for messy impressions with odd-tasting dental putty, we can put together the perfect treatment plan using high-tech X-rays, and we can even utilize dental lasers to help treatments fit better. On top of this, our office locations are largely solar powered as well! Were always looking forward and are constantly updating our facilities, so we can continue to deliver the highest-quality care possible.
At DeMaio Orthodontics, absolutely every smile is welcome, including those with special needs. Dr. Aaron DeMaio attended Connecticut College in New London, CT where he graduated with distinction (cum laude) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. He then received his dental education from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, graduating with highest honors. He went on to complete a General Practice Residency at Hartford Hospital and practiced family and cosmetic dentistry in Amherst, NH before deciding to specialize in orthodontics. Dr. DeMaio completed his orthodontic training at the Tufts-New England Medical Center in Boston. Throughout his collegiate and professional career, he has received numerous awards for scholastic and clinical excellence.
Dr. DeMaio holds professional memberships in the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society, Valley District Dental Society, and has served as the president of the Hampshire Dental Society. He also currently volunteers as a member of the Cleft Lip & Palate Team at the Shriners Hospital in Springfield, MA.
Dr. DeMaio lives in Conway with his wife, Tori, and their five children; Ethan, Emily, Kate, Macy, and Maggie. In his free time, he enjoys cycling, skiing, traveling, and just hanging out with his family.
Dr. Sonam Sheth received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a Minor in Biology from Boston University. She then continued on to study at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine where she obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine. From there, Dr. Sheth studied at the Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine and was granted a Masters of Science in Oral Biology and Pathology, as well as an Advanced Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.
During her residency, Dr. Sheth became Invisalign certified and comfortable with both metal and ceramic braces. Dr. Sheth is trained in both early childhood and adult orthodontics. Dr. Sheth is committed to continuously learning about the newest and most technologically advanced treatments available to provide her patients with the best orthodontic care options. Dr. Sheth is board-certified, maintains active memberships in multiple dental organizations, and is frequently seeking out new courses and seminars to learn new techniques.
Karyn hails from Claremont, and shes been working in oral healthcare for nearly 15 years now. She attended Bay Path College for her education and has also taken various dental classes through the American Association of Orthodontics and the Northeastern Society of Orthodontists. Her favorite part of this job is getting to meet so many patients! Her work is always changing and certainly never boring.
Outside of the orthodontic office, Karyn and her husband Aaron have two daughters named Heather and Hayley and a son named Christopher. In her free time, she enjoys doing arts and crafts, going to tag sales, finding bargains, and spending lots of quality time with her grandson and other family members. She also loves baking cookies!
Originally from Northampton, Dorothy and her husband John have a son named Brandon, a daughter named Melissa, two grandsons, and twin granddaughters. She also originally comes from a family of thirteen! When she isnt busy at work, you can find her simply enjoying life and everything it has to offer.
After studying at Mount Ida College, Katy earned her dental assisting education from the Porter and Chester Institute. Today, shes been working in this field for six years and counting and is a CDA (Certified Dental Assistant). She loves being able to help transform patients teeth and smiles!
Katy is from Montague, MA originally and lives with her boyfriend Ben and her dog Tyson. She enjoys doing anything outside in her free time, such as taking Tyson for hikes, going out on a boat, and traveling. She is actually both an only child AND an only grandchild!
Jess has been a member of our team for over a decade now! She is certified in dental radiology through the Massachusetts Dental Society. What she enjoys most about this line of work is getting to know so many awesome patients here at the practice.

Was doing Invisalign, life happened with covid. Admittedly wasnt wearing my trays all the time. One day I went into the office and only progressed 1 tray instead of 2 like I should have and they kept pressuring me to put on braces which I didn't wanna do so I walked out because I was uncomfortable the doctor kept insisting. They decided to cut me off from my treatment and when I asked them to provide the rest of my aligners so I can finish on my own they wouldn't even do that despite the fact my poor mother had payed for the full treatment. I would understand them only refunding $300 of thousands of dollars to my poor mother who started battling cancer half a year into my treatment and lost her job shortly before covid if they had at least given me the rest of trays she paid for but they refuse to do that! Its my fault for progressing slowly with my treatment but they know my mom paid for it so they could at least not rob her of her money entirely by completely denying me the chance to correct my teeth on my own. Also some woman named karen was rude everytime I called, the staff were just being petty because they knew I wasnt taking the trays as serious as I could. Again my fault but still extremely unprofessional for a service people pay thousands of dollars for. I remember being in the chair for my appointment and I heard the lady behind the desk say something along the lines of "am I gonna even try to call Simon?" because she didnt see me come for appointment and thought I no showed. Do better instead of taking my sick mothers money and running without even so much as offering some cheap plastic. She has been through enough and I could have done better at wearing my treatment but they dont need to knowingly take it out on her.

Thank you DeMaio Orthodontics for giving me a smile I love and am proud to show off. Getting orthodontic treatment has been absolutely life-changing for me. I haven't felt fully confident and with my smile EVER until now. Braces are hard as an adult, but I would do it a thousand times over. Dr. D and his team are truly outstanding, giving each patient their full time and attention. Dr. D pays great attention to detail and hears and addresses each of your concerns. He always answered all of my questions and was transparent about my treatment throughout the process. Adults, if you are on the fence, go for it. A smile lasts forever and braces are only temporary. Dr. D and his team will make sure the process is as comfortable as it can be the whole way through. You can trust this team with your smile!

Dr. DeMaio was absolutely phenomenal. Our son has some sensory issues but Dr. DeMaio was kind, patient, and thoroughly explained the whole process to him in a way that he understood what was happening during the entire process. Answered all our questions and our sons questions. Was a little rocky during the installation of the pallete expander due to son's sensitivity issues, but Dr. DeMaio was a ROCK STAR!!! Patience for days while being amazing with our son's issues during installation.

horrible customer service. We I call them, they just hung up in the middle of the conversation for no reason?? Really rude and up set me. I don't know about their ability, but the attitude is disgusting!

So if you're worried they will give you some fancy contraption for no reason, no need to keep worrying. I was about to get braces for the first time and I was terrified but by the time they finished I barely even know they started. I love going for my appointment now because the staff are gentle and they tell great stories from their day-to-day lives. If you are looking for a great orthodontist you should definitely book an appointment today.

Incredibly honest...told us we should do a retainer for my son at first until he lost all baby teeth and then do braces...it would be less expensive. He and staff are wonderful and friendly!

Dr. Demaio and staff goes above and beyond to make my son feel comfortable . He has a cleft lip and palate ,dr Demaio and safe and so gentle and very nice . The best place I've been! I'd recommend dr Demaio office is the place to go !!

My son had his two front teeth knocked out during a basketball game in January 2020. If it was for Dr. DeMaio, I don't know what we would have done. He literally saved his teeth. His braces came off today and they look amazing! Couldn't be more grateful or appreciative!

We are relatively new to the orthodontics game, and have been very happy with DeMaio Orthodontics thus far. Very easy scheduling, including very early appts for students. Appointments are quick without feeling rushed, and providers are attentive.

Everything about our orthodontic experience has been impressive with the team at DeMaio Orthodontics. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Dr. D is personable and informative. Every single experience I have had with DeMaio Orthodontics has been great. Dr. DeMaio and Dr. Sheth both provide excellent care to all of their patients. They are extremely knowledgeable and take their time to explain everything at each check up. All of the staff here are wonderful and always so friendly.
