Dr. Souvik Sarkar attended the A.J. Institute of Dental Sciences in Mangalore, India, where he received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree. While in India, he worked as a dental surgeon for Lab Tech Inc. Dental Clinic and Prasiddhi Dental Clinic. In 2009, Dr. Sarkar moved to Fort Worth, Texas, where he completed his Master of Public Health degree at the University of North Texas Health Science Center.
During his time at UNT, Dr. Sarkar worked in the Department of Cell Biology and Anatomy as an assistant for Rustin Reeves, Ph.D. In 2013, Dr. Sarkar moved to Los Angeles, California and completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at USC. After completing dental school in 2015, Dr. Sarkar moved back to Texas, where he worked in the city of Snyder at Snyder Smiles as a general dentist. There, he served both children and adults, helping all patients achieve better smiles.
In 2016, Dr. Sarkar moved to Weatherford, Texas, where he started Main Street Dental. Now, Dr. Sarkar continues to work as a general dentist for children and adults and strives to be an active member of the community. As a dentist, his goal is to provide excellent, comprehensive care to his patients in friendly and caring environment. He strives to educate and encourage his patients towards achieving an optimal state of oral health. In short, Dr. Sarkar believes that everyone should have a beautiful, healthy smile that will sparkle forever.
Dr. Sarkar is originally from Kolkata, India, and is fluent in English, Hindi, Gujarati and Bangali. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking and driving. He also enjoys applying is diploma in Fine Arts to his own artwork and paintings.

I needed a situation taken care of as quick as possible. Deluxe Dental was able to get me in the same day I called. I had my procedure done in a timely manner and I am very satisfied with the doctor, the care and the staff. I will be visiting again. I think I found my new dentist. I highly recommend Deluxe Dental in Kilgore, Texas.

Doctor made me wait close to an hour for taking a phone call. Did work for two separate appointments at one time without asking and he was on a rush. Really bad work left my tooth with very rough surface. Cleaning the week before appointment he was rushing and did poor job. Not coming back.

I am going to Deluxe Dental in Kilgore for a long process procedure. I am very nervous when it comes to going to the dentist but everyone there is really nice and caring they make me feel comfortable. The Dr. is very nice and listens to your thoughts and concerns on everything, The whole team will do everything they can to help you with everything you need, I highly recommend them. Angela Jones

I've had to go to many dentist over the years, and I've had my fair share of unfavorable experiences at other locations. Truly there is no way of avoiding how uncomfortable dental work is, but when I need to go I would like to feel like the people who are in charge of taking care of my teeth also care about me as a person, and the kind and passionate people at Deluxe Dental have done that for sure! Everyone from the front desk to dentist and assistants care about their job and see the importance of good dental care. I've had so many difficult procedures I needed done but in the end I was satisfied with the results, and as time went on I got more comfortable with the dental work and I didn't feel as alienated as I did at other dentist. Deluxe Dental gained my trust and I recommend it to anyone in Kilgore and neighbouring areas

The Dentist did a good job removing my tooth. I experienced very little pain that was tolerable. The staff was very nice and courteous. I would recommend Deluxe Dental highly.

We love Dr. V && the ladies that work there. He is everything one would want in a doctor- patient, gentle, kind, informative, great with children and probably takes your insurance! No insurance like me? Talk to the very customer oriented staff. They will do everything they can to meet your needs. Thank you deluxe for always taking care of my family.

This place is amazing. I had three (3) of my wisdom teeth removed and there was absolutely no pain and it was fine with ease. The staff was very nice and the assistants knew what they were doing and were really nice as well. Dr. Vishal Kulkarni is a amazing dentist and knows exactly what he is doing and explains everything really well about the procedure. Would definitely come back again if need be!

This is the best dentist I've been to and I don't normally let dentists or doctors use needles on me but this dentist is the only one I've trusted with a needle when pulling my wisdom teeth

Wonderful staff and dentist I usually hate going to the dentist but it was a good experience at this office. The staff was so helpful from the moment I got there until I left and the dentist explained what he was doing in a way for you to understand.
