Digital X-rays offer a huge advantage in early detection and preventive services. Advanced image manipulation and analysis, for example, allows your doctor to detect early stages of gum disease through recognition of bone level changes, or by evaluating the results against a previous treatment.

An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.

Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

I LOVED my FIRST TIME experience at Delta Shores Dentistry!! Everyone, from front desk, hygienist, other staff and Dr. Dang have been a great help. As I have not been to a dentist office since 2017, i was a bit nervous coming in.. But nope! Everyone there was amazing, made me feel super comfortable. This is a great dentist office. And for anyone nervous about getting any procedures done, come here! They will make you feel part of the dental family lol. 10/10 experience

It's a scam and the techs are new and inexperienced. Don't know if the people giving good reviews are gullible or just plain stupid. Went in for exam special x-rays/cleaning/exam... They refused to do any cleaning until I got over $800 in crowns/cosmetic procedures. Didn't have insurance so I couldn't afford thier recommendation so they tried to get me to sign up for credit plan I couldn't afford. Fast forward two years I have Delta PPO coverage and went to a new dentist in my neighborhood with stellar reviews. New *different* dentist cleaned my teeth FIRST VISIT, recommended a deep cleaning, which Delta Shores said was impossible for them to do because of the condition of a certain tooth that would cost $500 to repair before they would do the scaling. SECOND VISIT, new dentist NOT Delta shores did the deep cleaning with absolutely no problems. I know someone else who had a similar experience and said the cleaning she received there was one of the most PAINFUL she had experienced in a while. BEWARE, get a second opinion!!! Receptionist was nice but this business is shady!

I like many have found my dentist and hygienist. I have had bad luck with dentist in the past. I finally decided to go and I found this office by driving by. I have had two crowns and deep cleaning in the past two weeks and still have to go back for one more crown. I have no hesitation In getting the work done with this office. The whole staff is very professional.

Complete scam ...... I went in for check up and was told I needed two root canals done , they did test with cold swab on teeth but didn't feel hiper sensitivity even tho he insisted I needed root canals done (which said he can do then and there) .he kept insisting that I get it over with and he could start right away costing me upwards of 5,000 after insurance . I refused got second opinion and was told I had minor cavities which just needed a general filling

They were extremely accommodating on my first couple of visits. I was able to get a consult, root canal, and walked out the door with a new crown all in one visit due to unexpected openings. I'll be bringing my whole family back for regular check ups. The modern equipment makes a lot of the routine stuff very smooth and thorough.

******* BE AWARE ******* Dr Avalpreet Dang is the biggest scam artist out there. Please be aware before taking your family to his dentistry. He told me my son needed a deep cleaning and his teeth we're so bad he would not even clean them unless I purchased an out of pocket procedure and also my son's teeth we're to fall out soon... LOL. I went to not only one but two dental offices for additional oppinions and was told my son's teeth are perfect he just needs to floss. Really a 9 year old needs deep cosmetic cleaning? To top his scam artist skills he billed my insurance for a cleaning but never cleaned my son's teeth. After I refused the extra cosmetic dental procedure for my son. He cleaned my teeth and purposely stabbed my gums and made it so uncomfortable talking about how I have a gums disease (I'm sure he did that because I did not want the special cosmetic procedure for my son) and to top it he yelled at not only me but was making racial comments about a white man in Punjabi (Punjabi is my native language). He's a disgrace to our community and society. I took both my son and I to our normal dentistries which we could not go to back then as our benefits had changed so we ended up at this dump. Mom's Dad's please be aware!! If you love your kids and respect your time don't go here. I have filed a report with the board this man is in the wrong profession. I also called my insurance company and told them exactly what happen and they also are denying some over charges he never performed.

Dr. Dang is amazing. And Dr. Wong is amazing too. I have severe dental anxiety and I usually only go if something is really wrong. Dr. Dang made me feel very comfortable and safe the entire time. Made me feel like I was in control of the level of comfort I had during my visit. He also does my daughter's teeth and wow. He is so good with her only being 5. His office employees also made her feel special and want to come back to the dentist. Dr. Wong did my root canal. I never thought I'd ever be able to do a root canal but here I am, no pain, and totally willing to come back for his services. I got a crown put on as well and they were very quick and it was basically pain-free! The office manager Andy is also great. Makes sure that we can take care of the services needed without pressuring you into choosing the most expensive treatment. I love this office and the staff there as well. Thank you guys SO much

Both my son and I scheduled an appointment for the same timeframe. The office accommodated that request. Very professional and welcoming team. Dr. Dang explained every step of the process. The hygienist was awesome! I would highly recommend. So happy we have a wonderful dentist in Delta Shires!

It's my 2nd time here. Unfortunately, both times they have been emergencies. The staff here is great. From the receptionists, dental assistants, dentists, and endodontist. Everyone explains what's going on with the procedure to the break down for payments. Shout-out to Dr. Nguyen and Mario (1st visit), Dr. Dang, Dani, and Andy (2nd visit), and Dr. Wong. Hopefully, next time it's a routine visit.

Dr. Dang is a very kind compassionate knowledgeable and professional dentist. From the very first visit he understood and took time to discuss the complexity of my mom's oral health as she had jawbone decay and needed to work with oral surgeons, have Hyperbaric oxygen treatments, extractions and root canals. I was at the time overwhelmed by the oral surgeons saying that mom may have to just puree her food the rest of her life. She already lost considerable weight from prior chemo radiation and this would greatly affect her quality of life. Dr. Dang assured us that mom would be able to have partial dentures done that would not put pressure on the weakened areas of her jawbone whereas other dentists and oral surgeons did not give this as an option. This makes a big difference for Mom's outlook as she has not been able to eat as well after many extractions. Though we are still waiting for mom's jawbone osteonecrosis to more completely heal prior to having dentures just having this option gives her hope :) For mom's first permanent filling and crown her tooth kept crumbling and breaking as it had a prior silver filling that weakened the tooth. Dr. Dang patiently worked on this tooth and reworked on it each time it crumbled. He didn't give up his efforts as he wanted to save the tooth to prevent mom from having to do another extraction as in her situation that may mean redoing many hyperbaric oxygen treatments or run the risk of the area not healing properly after extraction. What was estimated to be a 2.5 hour procedure turned out to be about 5 hours. Dr. Dang and his technician and staff Andy who is in charge of the front office stayed patiently and kindly long after hours to complete mom's tooth. They were both so gracious and spoke to us with a smile at the end of a long day! Dr. Dang took extra time after hours to explain the complexity of mom's case. In the end he put a metal rod down the tooth to strengthen and stabilize it though there was not much tooth remaining to work with and skillfully fitted the crown on top. He told us the risks and to be careful to not chew hard foods. Mom says the crown is comfortable and has had no issues since it was completed earlier this week. Today mom had her second crown put on seamlessly without issue. Dr. Dang and Andy patiently waited for me to pick up mom after closing to explain the deep cleaning mom will be needing as well as options available for her in terms of a cosmetic bridge. He was so kind to offer help in terms of pricing as mom has had so much dental work done recently. Mom feels very safe with Dr. Dang as her dentist . She says he is very skilled and she also likes the state of the art equipment here. Thank you so very much Dr. Dang and Andy as well as all the technicians and staff here at Delta Shores! You are helping to give back mom's oral health as well as putting a smile back on her face!

Front desk staff made my mother cry over payment information. Making side comments that were not professional at all. I, too, am in the medical field and therefore hold fellow medical staff in high standards when it comes to serving the patients. NOT acceptable to make my mother cry, just because he felt he needed to make snide comments/be sassy. Not sure if it was just a bad day, but work is not for you to vent your frustration. Other than this one encounter with "A" (I won't put his full name), the staff is pleasant and caring. I'm just hoping this is only a one-time situation. Because it would be a real shame to have to find another dentistry, just because their front desk attendant is the bad apple.
