Dr. Firas Salhi believes in building long-term, trusting relationships with his patients, his staff, and the Lane County community he has served for more than 12 years. Dr. Salhi has a special talent and vision for cosmetic dentistry, implants, and full-mouth reconstruction.
After getting his doctoral degree in dentistry from New York University, Dr. Salhimoved to Oregon in 1999 to join a prosthodontic specialty program at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Portland. He is an active member of the American College of Prosthodontists and annually attends leading advanced dental education institutions in order to provide the very best in dentistry.
The passion Dr. Salhi has for health care and the total wellness of his patients is displayed in the family of patients and friendships that have been built over the years. It has always been his focus to make each patient feel at home when he or she comes to our office for treatment, and he works hard to give his patients the attention they deserve.

I should have read the reviews about not numbing enough before entering their doors. It was a painful experience and I would not wish it upon anyone. Make sure your patients are fully numb before you start drilling!

I asked him to numb me more and he said I was just fine. He started to poke around and it hurt. I asked again to please numb me more. He did and then proceeded to drill. I cried as he didn't numb me and the pain is something I will never forget. Don't go to this office!!

Very friendly and professional staff that will remember your name. Most gentle dentist I have ever had without it being his selling point. I use to be terrified to go to the dentist and I have gone only to dentist that advertised a gentle touch but still they frightened me because my teeth are so sensitive. I am not afraid any more. He is so gentle I thought he could not pull out a tooth. He did it so reassuringly that I kept waiting for him to start. It was an easy tooth, but he made it so easy It was just gone! After 5 years of seeing Dr Sahli and his staff, I go in without a second thought instead of loosing sleep in anticipation. It still hurts. My teeth are still overly sensitive. But they keep my mood uplifted and I trust that it's going to hurt the least possible. After 60 years of dentestry playing war games in my mouth, I feel at peace.
