Dr. Joe Delmond graduated from University of Florida College of Dentistry in 2010. He commuted and practiced in Ocala for over five years before transitioning into Gainesville with Dr. Winikor. From 2012 to 2014, Dr. Delmond attended UF Comprehensive Dentistry Program, which is a 600-hour continuing education and skill development course that earned him a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD)
Dr. Delmond and his wife are active volunteers in both local and international dental programs such as Gainesville Community Ministries, Mission of Mercy in Jacksonville, Acorn Clinic, and Dentistry from the Heart (Ocala). Dr. Delmond has traveled as far as Cochabamba, Bolivia, to volunteer his dental skills.

Laura was born and raised in Buffalo, New York. After graduating from college in her hometown, she moved to Gainesville and attended dental assisting school. She worked for several years as an assistant while putting herself through dental hygiene school, which she graduated with our very own, Rychane in 2000. Laura practiced as a hygienist for 17 years and spent most of that time serving our veterans at the Gainesville VA clinic. Now Dr. Delmonds office manager, she enjoys going to work everyday to spend the time with our great patients and awesome coworkers. Laura spends her free time with her niece, Sofia and nephew Michael, taking walks with her dogs, Snuggie and Finnegan and watching and traveling to see her favorite team, The Buffalo Bills! She often gets teased by many of our patients who are Dolphins fans(boooooo)
Dorothy (Dot) was born in Gainesville and grew up in Alachua. She started her career in dental assisting,after graduating from Santa Fe College in 1980. She began an internship with Dr. Bogdanoff, which resulted in permanent employment through the transition and history of all three of the practices doctors.( Dr. Bogdanoff, Dr. Winikor and Dr. Delmond) Dorothy enjoys the variety of working in our general practice dental office and the numerous treatments we provide to our patients. Dorothy feels fortunate to work with an amazing team of co-workers. I consider myself extremely special to have found a job that I truly enjoy!
Kim was born and raised in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. Her passion for music and running brought her to Gainesville in 1987 to attend UF to study and perform on the viola. In 1989, Kim started the Dental Hygiene Program at Santa Fe and graduated in 1991. Kim worked for Dr. Loyce Jones for 6 years before joining Dr. Israel Winikor and her mother, Carol, who had been Dr. Winikors long time office manager. Kim married her soulmate, Jay, in 1994. Their incredible son, Brett, graduated from Jacksonville University with his Bachelors Degree in Cyber Security. Brett also shares his passion for running with Kim. He ran cross country and Track and Field at JU. Kim loves the outdoors and enjoys hiking and traveling. After two decades with this office, I am grateful to think of my patients as an extension of my family and look forward to many more years with them.
Rychane,(pronounced Rich/Ann), is originally from Northern Kentucky but has called Florida home since 1981. Rychane has been a dental hygienist since 2000. She attended hygiene school with our office manager, Laura. Rychane began working for Dr. Winikor in 2001, until his retirement and the purchase from Dr. Delmond in 2015. After 20 years, Rychane transitioned from hygiene to the front desk as our Insurance coordinator assistant. She loves it and is still able to have contact with the patients she has cared for and has called friends for all these years. Rychanes feels very fortunate to work everyday with friends. Married in 1995 to her high school sweetheart, Dan, they have proudly raised two sons into adulthood. Rychane is a huge fan of movies and animals and enjoys walking her dog, Mollie.
Born and raised in the Gainesville area.Crystal came to work for Dr. Winikor ( Dr. Delmonds predecessor) after graduating from the dental hygiene program at Santa Fe College in2005. Crystal is married to her high school sweetheart. While they have no children, they share their home with their beloved bulldog, Jolene. Together they enjoy traveling, especially to National Parks and have a fondness for outdoor activities such as boating, camping and hiking. Aside from this, Crystal has a unique passion for the culinary arts, especially baking and cake decorating.(a hobby she picked up when she learned she would be an aunt) She finds the art of marrying delicious baked goods with her creative flair very satisfying. Crystals faith is also very important to her and she enjoys being part of a local Christian Church. Crystal cares deeply for her patients and strives to provide them with warmth and expert care at each visit.
Erica was born and raised in Gainesville Florida. She has been a Certified Registered Dental Hygienist since 2017. She takes pride in providing the best care for her patients. In her spare time, Erica enjoys reading books, traveling, rollerblading, spending time with family and volunteering with NAMI Gainesville. She also loves eating snacks and taking naps whenever possible.
Wendy is a native of Gainesville. She and her husband, Terry, enjoy fishing and hunting. She loves coming to work everyday to provide the best care to our awesome patients. Wendy always has a smile on her face and laughter in her heart. I work with the best staff.

I used to hate going to the dentist. I had a bad experience where I was told I needed a ton of dental work to be done on old fillings, needed cosmetic veneers and a few other additional things. I never felt comfortable and was always stressed while at the dentist. That all changed once I became a patient at Delmond Dentistry.The staff is friendly, helpful, and informative. Dr. Joe Delmond is awesome. He explains everything with sufficient detail, is efficient, does quality work, and creates a sense of trust. I no longer dread going to the dentist. I highly recommend Delmond Dentistry.

Switching from her pediatric dentist, my 17-year old daughter waited months to go to Dr. Delmond for a cleaning. We filled out 5 long online forms ahead of her visit. My daughter drove 30 minutes to her first appointment and they refused her service saying they couldn't find her paperwork and an adult must be there by Florida law for a minor's first visit. This requirement was not communicated even though the lady on the phone insisted that it was. Also, I do not believe that an adult is required to be present for a minor's first visit to a dentist to be a Florida law. From what I read, consent is required for a minor (which we gave) and the adult must be available by phone. The lady at the practice was not empathetic and offered nothing to help. She wouldn't even consider keeping this appointment if I drove there immediately myself to give consent in person. Now, we are waiting 2 more months to send our daughter back to her pediatric dentist. On our 2nd call with the lady at the office, she "somehow" located the missing paperwork but still refused service to my daughter. The dentist is great, so it's a shame the front staff treats people this way.

I am very pleased with the services I receive from Delmond. I was concerned when it was sold but Dr. Delmond has lived up to the old practice's high quality. My hygienist is superb. I never leave with a sore mouth and enjoy the whole process.

I came to Delmond Dentistry for a second opinion in 2019 about a failed bridge. I had been going to a large dental practice in Gainesville and was given some vague information and felt uncomfortable on a gut level. Dr. Delmond reviewed my x-rays and proposed a clear solution to the problem. Over the course of several months, I ended up having 3 teeth extracted as well as some fillings redone and implants inserted. Now, with my dental work completed and my smile perfectly restored, I feel compelled to write this review to share my five star experience with Delmond Dentistry. He is a skilled, clear spoken and knowledgable dentist and his entire staff is gracious and professional. I believe they truly care about their patients. I am 100% thrilled with my outcome.

My experience with Dr. Joe Delmond and his staff was nothing short of exceptional. As someone who hadn't been to the dentist in awhile due to grad school getting away from me, I recently got a small chipped tooth that needed some major work done and quick. Dr. Delmond's Office got me in a day after my inquiry and provided the most compassionate and educated dental care I could have asked for. Dr. Delmond explained everything to me, created a treatment plan, and provided a sense of calm about the whole situation. Following my treatment I received a call and text to follow-up with me to ensure I was doing well and was pain free. I seriously could not ask for a better experience from a medical provider. If you have any dental anxiety or concern I would highly recommend Dr. Delmond and his team. I also don't have insurance and his prices were also very reasonable! Icing on the cake. Thank you Dr. D! Looking forward to a brighter and painless smile moving forward.

I won't go so far as to say "I love going to the dentist!" but Dr. Delmond and his entire staff make it a positive visit every time. They are personable, kind, funny, and you can tell they have a good work rapport between them. Dr. Delmond is very knowledgeable and shares his knowledge with the patient, and above all makes sure you are numb and as comfortable as possible before, during and after procedures. He has personally texted both my mother and myself after extensive procedures to make sure we are okay. Highly recommend this practice!

Awesome Dr and staff!!!!! I came in a few weeks ago as emergency appointment because I chipped a filling on my front tooth and couldn't get into my dentist for a few weeks. They were able to get me in that afternoon. The staff was very courteous and Dr. Delmond was very attentive. I went back today for another filling that I needed done and they were great. I HATE having dental work done but they made it painless. They also texted in the evening to make sure I was doing ok with my tooth. I was very impressed! While I was there today, I scheduled to have a crown done that I need on one of my molars in May and I have since moved our records so my son and I will be doing our next cleaning here. We've definitely found our new dentist office!

Our family loves Dr. Delmond and his staff. My husband is afraid of dental procedures and has needed extensive work. Dr. Delmond and his staff have made the whole process as easy as possible for my husband and they are the only reason he has finally gone through with getting the much needed work done. Our son loves them for his routine visits as well. The office is clean and up to date and it's an overall good atmosphere!

I walked into Dr. Delmond's office a few weeks ago... ready to vomit from how much stress I was under. I had avoided dentists for YEARS due to some previous roughness from an ortho. Immediately dot and Dr.Delmond set my mind at ease and set a treatment plan to take care of my entire mouth in bite size chunks. I have felt no pain while in their chair and they are beyond patient. I even received a call assuring I was doing okay after my last appointment. I am so unbelievably thankful for you and your team, Dr. Delmond. They say referrals are the highest form of flattery. And this review doesn't even touch how great y'all truly are. Thank you for making me believe that the health of my mouth isn't a long lost cause! Go see this team if you're looking for an amazing partner for the health of your teeth. You won't regret it.
