Dr. Daniel DeLeon is a gentle, caring dentist who uses the most advanced materials & procedures available.He practices comfortable, health-centered dentistry with a strong emphasis on getting to know each of his patients. In addition to his technical proficiency, Dr. DeLeon is a careful listener & will explain beforehand what treatment is best for your individual needs.
After earning his bachelors degree from the University of Illinois, Dr. DeLeon received his doctorate from the same universitys College of Dentistry. He has since completed over 800 hours of continuing education courses with an emphasis on complexcosmetic& restorative dentistry,implant restoration, aesthetic dentures & fixed bridge work. Dr. DeLeon is also a member of the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, theChicago Dental Society& theAcademy of General Dentistry.
Dr. DeLeon lives in Glen Ellyn with his wife, Gail, & their four daughters. He enjoys reading, spending time with family, & following sports especially the Chicago Bears! Dr. DeLeon looks forward to your visit & to showing you how exceptional dentistry can improve your life.
I've worked in the Dental field for over 20 years and have extensive experience in both clinical and administrative roles. I enjoy the time I get to spend with our patients helping them navigate the often confusing world of dental insurance coverage and treatment planning.
I have been married to husband and best friend, Jim for 23 years. We met on a Caribbean cruise and have been happily cruising along together ever since. When I am not in the office I enjoy baking, drinking tea, reading and traveling.
I am a Registered Dental Hygienist. I started my career in the Dental field after graduating from Southern Illinois University in May 1983.I have been working here at DeLeon Family Dental for the past 16 years.
DeLeon Family Dental provides me with the opportunity to work with an experienced and compassionate team. It also allows me to provide quality, gentle dental care to our patients. I have had the opportunity to watch them grow and have become a part of their lives. By staying current with continuing education and CPR classes, and using the most modern technology, I am able to provide the best dental treatment possible. Over the years I have enjoyed speaking at educational dental presentations at my childrens schools, volunteering with charitable dental organizations and meeting and connecting with Glen Ellyn families through local parades and events.
I have been married to my husband, Len for almost 30 years and have three children; Vince, Samantha, and Olivia. When I am not caring for my patients I love to read, travel, and spend quality time with my family and friends.
I first arrived at Deleon Family Dental in 2012 as a temporary hygienist, and immediately fell in love with the office. I instantly grew close with the staff, and kept my hopesup that a permanent position would open soon. After 6 years of working for a dentist in the heart of downtown Chicago (my window view was 'The Bean'), I was ready to come back to the suburbs.Eight weeks after welcoming my beautiful son, Ethan, into the world, I got the call. DeLeon Family Dental has been an office that has continually encouraged me to become a better Hygienist. The practice provides the newest and best technology, and most updated information regarding oral and whole body health.
My passion for Oral Hygiene and linked Systemic Health is what pushed me to continue my education with Dental Hygiene. I graduated from the College of DuPage Dental Hygiene Program. I have kept up with the most current information by attending continuing education courses on various subjects. I feel very confident in applying the knowledge I've obtained with my patients at Deleon Family Dental. I'll admit that while Periodontal Therapy and Deep Scaling Treatment fuel my daily passion for this job, Pediatric Dentistry is another love of mine. Calming the nerves of some of our smallest patients is what really makes me feel great about my job. I love seeing them smile when they are in my chair.
In my free time, I absolutely love my most important role of being a Mommy to my 2 1/2 year old son, Ethan. Ethan and I are also very proud of my husband, John, who has been a Police Officer for 6 years. In our free time, we enjoy the local food and social scene here in Glen Ellyn, and love morning walks to the park to watch Ethan play. I look forward to treating you here at DeLeon Family Dental!

Alexa did a great job of cleaning. I enjoyed talking to her. I would love to have her clean my teeth anytime. Everyone in the office is friendly and welcoming. Dr. Dan is amazing! Thank you for great service Everytime I come. It feels like extended family.

I have been going to Dr. DeLeon for about 15 years now. So nice and the best dentist I've ever been to. My two front teeth are bonded and they have broken a few times over the years and he always fits me in right away to repair them. I appreciate that so much! If you are looking for a great dentist go to Dr. D! :)

From the first phone contact to the after visits follow up, this practice is professional and kind all the way. My old dentist recently retired and like anything new, was wondering how the staff would be. They are all awesome. Dr. DeLeon takes time to explain sometimes complex procedures and makes sure you understand. This is one great dental office! Anna, you're amazing!

My last review was wrong. I meant to leave 5 stars. Ive been coming to this dentist for a long time. I come back because I'm treated with real care and interest in me and my family. I've been coming to DeLeone Family Dental for about 25 years. I moved about 40 minutes from Glen Ellyn but I keep coming back because of the wonderful care I receive.

This was the 2nd time I have been to this dentist and I truly love them. The team and the doctor are such professionals and know there stuff. I had been going to another practice for over 6 years and wish I had found Dr. Dan DeLeon for me and my family sooner. I would highly recommend them to friends and family. My wifes family has been with Dr.Deleon for many years. I had not used a dentist for a good 15 years due to my bad experience as a child. Dr. Deleon and his team made my experiences pleasant and pain free for the last 18 years now.

Dr. DeLeon is the best and a miracle worker!! I broke off a veneer which made my smile completely crooked. I was able to book a last minute appointment 2 days later for a look and see evaluation. He saw my tooth and would not let me leave the office without a replacement cover for my tooth- the same tooth that was driving me crazy--cutting my lip & tongue since it chipped. He took take time and care to help me. The temporary one matches my other perfectly. I feel as if I can smile again. Thank you Dr. DeLeon and to his amazing team. I highly recommend your business!
