Anila grew up in Philadelphia and went to school at Temple University. While at Temple University, Anila studied Biology and Education and earned her Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. After graduating, Anila worked as an educator for the School District of Philadelphia.

Anila joined the Delaware Smile Center team in 2008. As Office Manager, Anila brings a fresh perspective to running the practice. She makes it her goal to motivate others to do their best. Her objective is to create an efficient but friendly dental office so patients get the healthy smile they deserve.

Abbie is a 2011 graduate of Delaware Technical Community Colleges dental hygiene program. She currently resides in Chesapeake City, Maryland where she enjoys being on the water. Abbie strives to stay current with the latest in dental health literature so that she can provide the best possible care to all of her patients.

Valerie graduated with her associate of science degree from Harcum College in 2010. In 2011 she received her bachelors degree in dental hygiene at the University of Maryland Dental School in Baltimore.

Denise brings with her 30 years of experience in customer service. After running her own business for twelve years, she decided to go back to a career in the medical field. Denise attended Del Techs dental assistant program in 2011 and joined the Delaware Smile Center team as a dental assistant that same year. Denise finds the position to be both challenging and rewarding at the same time. She loves smiles!

Ajah graduated from Hodgson Vocational High School in 2011. Since then she has had 5 years experience working as a dental assistant. She enjoys helping people face their fearswhen it comes seeing the dentistand of course helping people get an amazing smile.

Jennifer completed her dental assisting training at Harris School of Business in 2015. She joined Delaware Smile Center that same year. Her favorite part of being a dental assistant is helping give patients healthy beautiful smiles.

In her spare time she enjoys watching movies, and she loves spending time with her husband, sister, two nephews and niece. She also enjoys playing and cuddling up with her 5 year old bunny Milo, and new puppy Jax.

Jeanne has been with Delaware Smile Center since it opened in 2008. She has worked in the dental field for over twenty years and has experience with both the front office as well as the clinical aspects of dentistry. Whether its answering phones, reviewing treatment plans with patients, or providing our doctors with chair-side assistance, she really does do it all!

Jeanne lives in the Middletown area with her husband Steve and their three children Sierra, Nathan, and Emma. She enjoys spending her free time with her family going to the beach, reading, attending all of the childrens school and sport functions, and being very involved with her daughters in Girl Scouting.

Prior to Delaware Smile Center Lindsay was in the banking industry for 20 years. She enjoys working closely with patients and seeing them with a beautiful healthy smile. In her spare time Lindsay enjoys hanging out with family, going to the beach and traveling to new places.

Prior to joining DSC, Brittany was in customer service for 8 years. She enjoys spending time with her fianc, daughter, and two dogs. In her spare time she loves taking trips to the beach and spending time outdoors.

Brittni grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and attended Bloomsburg University where she completed some college. Bringing four years of customer service experience, Brittni joined Delaware Smile Center in August of 2016. Brittni loves having family nights, doing make-up, and being a mother on a daily basis.

Megan joined Delaware Smile Center in January 2017. She graduated from Cecil College in 2011 with her associate degree in Professional Photography. In her free time she enjoys being on the water, fishing, hunting and spending time with her family, husband and friends.

Maggie is originally from Philadelphia but has lifelong ties to the first state. Maggie joined Delaware Smile Center in November of 2019. In her free time she plays viola with a local ensemble. Maggie enjoys cooking, reading British mysteries, and going to Renaissance Faires with her family and friends.

All of us here at Delaware Smile Center believe in the importance of giving back. That is why we have partnered with Warriors Helping Warriors (WHW), a program established in 2013 by the Veterans Resiliency Center that helps connect U.S. military veterans with various resources, including medical care, housing, and employment. As WHW partners, our skilled providers have completed numerous veterans dental treatments completely free of charge. A great smile and a healthy mouth can be truly life-changing, and we are proud to be able to support those who have given so much for our country.

In addition to our work with WHW, we are also committed to being active and involved in our local community. Members of our staff have attended blood drives, marched to raise money for breast cancer research, and volunteered to provide vital dental education for children. We also host frequent donation drives benefiting local charities such as the SPCA, homeless shelters, food banks, and more. We are a family-owned and oriented business, and we strive to treat everyone we come into contact with like a part of our family. That is why we work to provide the best possible care for our patients, our staff, and our beautiful community.

Dr. Saqib Usmani provides a range of comprehensive and cosmetic dentistry treatments here at Delaware Smile Center, including porcelain veneers and teeth whitening. He is known for his compassionate and thorough approach to patient care, and he works closely with the rest of our dedicated family dentistry team to provide the best experience possible.

Dr. Usmani completed his undergraduate coursework at Temple University in Philadelphia, earning a degree in Biology. Following in the footsteps of his father, Dr. Usmani decided to pursue a career in dentistry. After being accepted into Temples School of Dentistry, he chose to enroll in their DMD/MBA Dual Degree Program. An exceptional student, Dr. Usmani graduated at the top of his class while at the same time earning a Masters in Business Administration in just four years.

After graduating from dental school, Dr. Usmani accepted a position at Christiana Cares General Practice Residency in Wilmington, Delaware. Dr. Usmani is an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Academy of Osseointegration. Currently he is on staff at Christiana Hospital serving as attending faculty for the General Practice Residency Program. Dr. Usmani lives in Middletown with his wife, Anila. They are proud of their two sons, Zan and Adam who are currently in college. Zan is in dental school at the University of Michigan, and Adam attends the University of Delaware.

Dr. Sohaib Usmani offers a range of general, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry services while striving to foster a relaxing and comfortable environment for his patients. As a part of his mission to provide advanced services that promote better patient outcomes, Dr. Sohaib has received extensive training as an implantologist. This enables him to place dental implants that can help restore your smile with the most beautiful, natural-looking results possible.

The decision to pursue dentistry was an easy one for Dr. Usmani, especially since dentistry runs in the family! Dr. Usmani was accepted into the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. While in school, Dr. Usmanis clinical skills quickly drew the attention of his faculty, and it wasnt long before he was tutoring his fellow students. Just like his older brother Dr. Saqib, Dr. Sohaib extended his professional training after receiving his Doctorate of Dental Medicine and enrolled in Christiana Cares General Practice Residency.

Dr. Usmani is a member of several professional and educational organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Delaware State Dental Society, and the Delaware Valley Academy of Osseointegration. Dr. Usmani lives in Bear with his wife, Dr. Sophia Usmani. In his spare time, he blends his artistic abilities with his passion for baking and makes amazing 3D cakes!

Dr. Sophia Usmani is a gentle, compassionate, and experienced orthodontist who has been helping people correct their bite and misalignment concerns for years. From the simplest cases to the most complex, Dr. Sophia can help assess your unique orthodontic needs and provide treatment recommendations that are personalized to you. Treatment offerings include traditional braces, Invisalign, andin more severe and/or complex casessurgical orthodontics. Dr. Sophia also works closely with the other providers at Delaware Smile Center so that all of your dental needs can be met under the same roof.

A native of Toronto, Canada, Dr. Sophia Usmani moved to Houston, Texas and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas in Austin. After graduating from the University of Texas with honors, Dr. Usmani enrolled in the University of Pennsylvanias School of Dental Medicine and was awarded the Deans Scholarship in recognition of her academic achievements.

After finishing her dental school training, Dr. Usmani enrolled in Christiana Cares General Practice Residency. The following year, she worked alongside the Chairman of the University of Pennsylvanias orthodontic department, Dr. Robert Vanarsdall, and was accepted into the orthodontic residency program. Dr. Usmani excelled in her orthodontic education and was awarded the Orthodontic Research Award for her work on facial morphology and growth.
