Called made appt ,took both my dental and medical insurance (have oral surgery as a benfit )over the phone .My insurance company listed them as a provider .Comes to the money part and turns out they don't deal with blue cross any more . COME ON ITS 2022 . DOC WAS A JOKE, RUDE AND SHORT. MY Advice Stay Far Away .

I had my wisdom tooth removed by Dr. Nwogu and it was absolutely PAINLESS! I did not feel a thing, in fact I did not realize that he had even started removing the tooth before he was telling me to have a nice day. Everyone was so incredibly friendly, 10/10 would recommend this office to everyone!!

I have been trying for over a week to call to make an appointment but it goes straight to voicemail and says the box is full. Does anyone know if this office is still open?

I've waited ONE YEAR to write this review. Why? Because they didn't charge me until more than one year after the surgery.... Long story short, I have multiple insurance eligible and after surgery there were lots of back and forth between the insurance companies to settled down the final amount. The staff were very patient and didn't ask me for charge for a whole year until the insurance companies have settled down. I would not wait for so long if someone owe me money lol

I utilized the services offered at Delaware Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery to remove all four wisdom teeth, which included a pre-consultation, the surgery itself, and two follow-up appointments, over the span of approximately two months. Dr. Nwogu and his staff was highly informative and transparent regarding patient education and expectation along every step in the procedure. Informational media is shown to the client regarding the nature of wisdom teeth, their evolutionary function, health determinants based on levels of care, etc. as a preface for readiness to initiate the procedure. Questions were answered succintly and with empathetic concern for patient autonomy of choice. The office itself was sparkling clean upon all four visits, staff was highly receptive and energetic to address client needs, and appointment times were adhered to with surgical precision. Collectively among the four appointments, I maybe waited 5 minutes in total, highly impressive. Major highlights are the knowledgable staff, friendly environment, and transparency in procedure. Professional comraderie and trust on the team was immediately evident and instilled trust in the practice itself as a result. All staff were accommodating, responsive, and warm. Informed consent and commitment to patient confidentialty was front and center, as would be expected in any medical environment. Modern medicine involves looking beyond the techniques, training, and instruments that are operationally used to complete a procedure; the best medical professional centers also incorporate empathetic connection with clients, a *demonstrable* commitment to fulfill patient informed consent and autonomy (staff will 'quiz' about components of your procedure to ensure that clients are aware and fully engaged regarding what medical intervention would be taken or had been taken), and collaboration over credentialism. Dr. Nwogu and the staff of Delaware Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery ably demonstrate what it means to be an empathetic professional medical provider in the 21st century. My experience is singular and perhaps unique, but it is offered with zero reservation and full confidence in the practice and in the services offered therein. Wonderful job.

I had a tooth extracted and he had to clean up and remove tooth chips from a couple broken teeth. The doctor is amazing and the staff are so sweet and comforting!! I highly recommend

This dentist is horrible! I do not recommend this place to anyone!! My daughter got her wisdom teeth pulled here and now she can't feel her lip. I called to ask on what happened during the surgery, I asked him did he hit a nerve and all he could say was I will have my office call you to make a visit. This place is horrible!!!

I traveled from New Jersey to see Dr. Nwogu to get my wisdom teeth removed. I am a very anxious patient was very afraid of this procedure. As soon as I got to the office I knew everything was going to be ok. His staff is fantastic, knowledgeable and kind. Dr. Nwogu is so gentle I woke up ready to take selfies. A day later I feel no pain at all, I have no swelling and I feel absolutely amazing. Thank you so much!

Receptionist do not communicate very well. Waited an hour and a half before the dentist extracted a tooth because they needed payment and claimed they could not get the insurance company on the phone. The dentist removed a filling in the process of extracting a tooth. They told me this as I was leaving and he did not replace it. Went to another dentist to get the filling replaced. I will not be returning and I will not recommend this place to anyone.

I was terrified to have my wisdom teeth removed! Now I look back at the situation and can't help but laugh because I realize I had the best team taking care of me! Everything was so easy! I scheduled without difficulty, the consultation was informative, and Dr. Nwogu is the absolute best when it comes to oral surgery! I truly had a painless experience. Never expected to have my necessary tooth extracted today but I am so happy I did and so glad I chose this office. From the Doctor, to the staff, the impeccable, beautiful office, to the cleanliness, to the amazing relaxing decor, I was Wowed!!!! The entire front end experience was efficient and run smoothly. Upon finishing my paperwork I was swiftly brought to a crisp, clean, state of the art awaiting room without any wait the Doctor entered my room, explained my films and the precedure in depth. My own dentist didn't feel comfortable removing my bad molar and told me to see an oral surgeon...... I am Glad the reviews I read for this office were spot on and I was able to be placed on their books so quickly! I am totally impressed and I Highly recommend this office for your oral surgical procedures etc.....

Had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed. They made it so comfortable and easy. No problems at all. Highly recommend.
