The philosophy that Dr. Ramezani has instilled in Del SurDentistry is one of commitment to the patient through communication and the building of trust. From the moment patients walk into her dental office, she wants them to understand that she and her entire team are committed to providing personalized care in her state-of-the-art dental practice. Once Dr. Ramezani and the team understand the patients concerns, they take the time to educate them and provide them with the best personalized treatment plan geared toward a lifetime of oral health with emphasis on painless function and appealing aesthetics.
Prior to beginning her career, Dr. Ramezani received her Bachelors degree in Biology from the University of California, San Diego. She then went on to attend the world renowned University of California, San Francisco, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Since then, Dr. Ramezani has been providing excellent dental care for families in San Diego. She has been an active member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the San Diego County Dental Society, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Ramezani has also continued her studies by training in postgraduate courses for advanced General Dentistry, Restorative Dentistry, and Cosmetic Dentistry. As a result of her interest in providing comprehensive dental care for the whole family, Dr. Ramezani has received additional training in Pediatric Dentistry in order to meet the special needs of children of all ages.
Dr. Ramezani prides herself with her skill and artistry in all facets of dentistry and promises to listen to her patients concerns, take time to educate them, and provide them the most precise dental work any SMILE deserves.

Do not go here. The dentist was good, but the admin staff is horrible. I paid my copay for a filling and they sent me a supplemental bill because they billed the insurance incorrectly. I have never been treated like this before and there was no apology. My husband went in for a cleaning and the front desk wouldn't let him go until my outstanding bill was paid.

This review is long overdue! Both my son and I have been seeing Dr. Ramezani and her team for many years, and I have to say that they are the best (even my son says so and that means a lot when he doesn't like to see a dentist). We had quite a few treatments done over the years: cleaning, whitening, filling cavities...etc. and I am also scheduled to get my crowns done soon. My experience with this dental office has been great and pleasant. From the moment I book my appointment to the end of the treatment, Dr. Ramezani and her team really put in a lot of effort in making her patients feel like they are truly cared for. During my visits, Dr. Ramezani and Dr. Elizabeth would always patiently listen to my concerns and spend time answering my questions, they are not only professional, they are also very knowledgeable, which made me feel comfortable and helped ease my anxiety. Everytime they work on my teeth, I feel like I am the only person they are focusing on, it is truly a VIP experience. Other than the great staff, scheduling and insurance billing were easy too. The admin is very helpful with scheduling my appointment and she'd try her best to accommodate my busy schedule. I don't really have any issues with billing, but there's one incident with my insurance (which has nothing to do with the office) where I had to wait for a month to get authorization to get my crown. Later I found out that sometimes insurance companies are the ones to blame, especially when it comes to billing (I used to deal with insurance companies so I know). All in all, I highly recommend Dr. Ramazani and her team! They deserve 5 stars!

Heroes of the day! Del Sur Dentistry rescued me from what could have been a much less enjoyable vacation in San Diego visiting with our son and family. While on our first flight since Covid began almost a year ago I bit into a hard cracker that was in my snack box and broke off a large piece of a crown on a back molar! Our son recommended Del Sur Dentistry and they did not disappoint! A quick phone call and they squeezed me into their busy schedule right away. From Joann at the front desk to Dr. Elizabeth Rodriguez, the great dentist who took care of me, the whole experience was stupendous. After x-rays and an exam Dr. Rodriguez made an honest and fair decision to put a temporary fix on the tooth to hold me until I got back to Colorado and my dentist there. Now I can enjoy my holiday in comfort knowing I can eat and drink safely with my repaired tooth. Thank you so much Del Sur Dentistry! You're the best!

Working with this dentist has been a nightmare. I liked Dr. Ramezani and her dental assistants and hygienists, but working with the admin was horrible. She charged me a deductible for a cleaning that she wasn't supposed to, kept billing my insurance incorrectly, and kept blaming her mistakes on my insurance, which I didn't find out until I called them. It took me hours to sort out their mess, and in the end I still didn't get the fillings I needed done there because they weren't billing my insurance correctly. The Patient Coordinator called me blaming my health insurance for her mistake, even though she made mistakes every single step of the way when billing me. I eventually asked to have my medical records sent to me, and after more than a month went by of no contact from them besides a check in the mail for the $50 they owed me, I had to contact them again to get my medical records sent to me, even though California state law says they must get them to me within 15 days and HIPAA says they only have 30 days. Over all, I have had to waste hours and hours dealing with the fallout from using this dentist, and I still have to get my fillings done by somebody else. Magically, my new dentist was able to bill my procedures correctly. I definitely recommend going elsewhere with your business if you don't want to pay out of pocket for procedures that your insurance fully covers.

I have had the WORST luck with dentists, but my boss referred me to Del Sur Dentistry and I could not be happier. Great customer service, caring staff and does not try to upsell on products or services. By far the best dentist I've ever found.

I initially got introduced to the practice by a friend when I had a dental emergency. I actually was able to call Dr. Ramezani herself during off hours. She saw me that same day. I have been hooked ever since. She is a gentle knowledgeable expert in her field, Nancy holds the front office together perfectly, and the dental staff is verycaring. I have had to have two root canals and both times Nancy got me set up with appointments and Dr. Ramezani directed me to the best endodontist for my situation. Great care and great service!

I've been a patient of Advanced Dentistry for over four years and, although I generally loathe going to the dentist, this is the one practice in which I never feel apprehensive. The staff is professional and knowledgeable like anyone should expect, but their greatest strength lies in the warmth with which they care for their patients. They encourage rather than push; they advise rather than scold; and they smile rather than treat you as a patient #. Dr. Ramezani embodies these very qualities to a tee. She will make you feel like you're the only patient there which allows you to voice all your concerns and needs. She's straight with you,, but in a friendly and good-spirited manner. Most importantly, she is good at what she does. Take this from a guy who has been through too many dentists to count! Her staff, Nancy and Sara, are critical components of the practice's success and atmosphere. Nancy and Sara both seem to do a little bit of everything, and always with a smile, which helps bring home the small-town vibe of the office, yet you know you're being treated with the most cutting-art of technology, knowledge, and skill. I'm trying to think of something negative to say to balance this review, but there just isn't anything of the sort. If you're looking for a top-notch, innovative practice which fosters warm spirits and big smiles, make an appointment with Advanced Dentistry. Dr. Ramezani and her staff are excellent! I don't normally do reviews but our experience with this dental practice has been wonderful. We travel over an hour each way for appointments and it is well worth the effort. Dr. Ramezani is so nice and goes out of her way to explain what needs to be done and why! We will keep traveling for our dental appointments!

I love Advanced Dentistry staff, they are all welcoming, nice and professional. From Nancy at the reception to the dental Hygienist to Dr. Ramazani. I have been going there for at least 7 years now every 6 months and I am never disappointed. Great service and caring staff.

I can't say enough good things about Advanced Dentistry. Dr. Ramezani is an amazing dentist. She's knowledgable and professional, but she's also warm and caring and gets to know all her patients at a personal level. Every time I've gone in, she's remembered things we've talked about before and she always takes the time to catch up and visit. She won't oversell on treatments or care. I appreciate her honesty and the fact that she's not out to simply "make a buck" on her patients. Her staff, from Nancy at the front to the hygienists who do the cleanings, are all warm and positive, as well as being efficient and professional. If you're looking for an excellent dentist in the Santaluz/Rancho Penasquitos/Del Sur area, you can't go wrong with Advanced Dentistry.

I have lived in San Diego for 5 years and have finally found a dentist I love! The office staff are friendly, efficient, and so helpful. I chipped a tooth and they got me in to fix it right away. Dr. Roxana Ramezani is so kind and a great communicator. I have always had a sense of anxiety and stress with dental procedures and she always puts me at ease. I also love that they make suggestions, but I never feel pressured--ie. zoom whitening, Invisalign, etc.

This is the best dentist I have been to! I have issues with having work done and they were very accommodating. I even got a follow up call which I never have had from a dentist! Everyone in the office is great. I am even happy to come in for a cleaning.
