Dr. Alhamdi graduated from the Boston University School of Dental Medicine, completing his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry. There, he received extensive training in both medicine and oral healthcare, as well as a special interest in comprehensive dental care for children and adults. He also worked as a faculty member at Drake College of Business, teaching in the Department of Dentistry in New Jersey. He and his beautiful wife Jumana were always drawn to Boston and originally opened a dental office in Massachusetts, but after many memorable years there, they decided to relocate to the San Diego area, where Jumana obtained her Masters in Biomedical Engineering from UCSD and accepted her dream job offer.
Today, Dr. Alhamdi practices all areas of general dentistry, bringing many years of experience to the dental office. He offers a wide variety of treatment options, from small white fillings to modern Invisalign Clear Braces to highly advanced procedures. Hes especially passionate about cosmetic makeovers, restorative solutions, and crown and bridgework! He is currently a member of the following dental organizations:

Wonderful staff, straight forward and thorough clinical advice from the dentist. I can't speak highly enough. Really great experience all around. No scare tactics, no waiting, no fluff. This dentist at Del Mar Arts is the very best in San Diego. And so is his entire office staff. I have tried multiple dentists in San Diego and each dentist sucks all my money. Dentists in San Diego are so money hungry. But not the dentist at Del Mar Arts. The dentist at Del Mar Arts is true to his profession. He works closely with each patient to ensure they receive the best service. My entire family is extremely happy with this dentist. Highly recommend the dentist.

In the past I've had pretty unpleasant dental experiences so this place was a wonderful surprise. Kind staff, accommodating with my schedule, the doctor did my wisdom tooth extraction and explains everything before he does it and is super friendly.

great staff! i made my first cleaning appointment in two years here and amber was gentle and made sure i was comfortable the whole session. nobody shamed me about the less than ideal condition of my oral health, but they were very clear about the long term effects and how to prevent them. both amber and dr.a walked me through multiple options regarding the care for my various concerns. this place is also very transparent about pricing and they made sure i was aware of all options instead of pressuring me to spend the most money. i can tell the team really cares about what is best for their patients, and this makes me trust them with my dental health :)

Have to say the best dentist I've ever been to. I had my wisdom tooth taken out and didn't even feel any pain at all. Everyone is friendly, helpful and they explained everything. Already made appointment for my kids and wife.
