Dehpanah Mehrdad DDS

Parking lot, 555 Turnpike St # 51N, North Andover, MA 01845

Dr. Dehpanah received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, at Irvine. In 1999, he earned his General Dentistry Degree (DMD) from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine (BUGSDM). In 2001, he completed an additional two-year post-graduate training fellowship in Pediatric Dentistry with rotations at Franciscan Children Hospital for Children and Boston Medical Center. He then pursued an additional one-year advanced training fellowship with an emphasis in cosmetic and restorative dentistry which lead to a full time clinical and academic faculty position at Boston University in 2002.

In 2005, he settled in North Andover with one of his mentors, Dr. William Bourassa. In 2007, Drs Dehpanah, Gharib & Associates was established following Dr. Bourassa's retirement and later in 2015 due to the continued patient loyalty, North Andover Pediatric and Family Dentistry was formed to better reflect the patient population and scope of our services.

After 15+ years of being a full time faculty at Boston University (Go Terriers), in 2018 he stepped down from his position to be more involved in his community and growing private practice. In his office, unlike most pediatric dentists he believes in a non-sedative approach and practices focusing on behavior management. Dr. Dehpanah states: my early exposure to the late Dean Spencer N. Frankls approach towards his patients crystalized the importance of human psychology and child development in a successful non-sedative treatment approachin a non-hospital setting.

Dr. Dehpanah is an active member of the American Dental Society, Massachusetts Dental Society, Massachusetts Associates of Pediatric Dentistry, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Merrimack Valley Dental Society.

Our staff is trained in all aspects of caring for the dental needs of infants, children, teenagers, and adults. They receive ongoing continuing educational lectures and meetings. Our philosophy is to treat every child like we treat our own children.

Good Experience , Dr. Dehpanahis a great dentist The reason why I am giving 3 starts after my experience calling the office to report a change in the Dental insurance company. I had a bad experience really and this was very frustrating, I just called to report a change in the insurance so we all do the right thing and just asked to submit the claim to the correct provider, I was interrupted the whole call and whenever I opened my mouth I heard that this is the co-payment will pay regardless what the insurance is other wise they have to resubmit the claim. Ok I will make the payment, but I want the claim to be sent to the right provider. Please be patient when someone calls with such requests. I mistakenly said health insurance instead of Dental at some point during the call although the whole call was about Dental insurance and the answer was be specific DENTAL OR HEALTH. Anyway what I wanted to me sure is that you have the correct insurance company in your records and that's about it.
