Let me say that I absolutely love Dr. Degise during the course of my son's orthodontic care. However, once my son's braces were removed we had issues with tooth moving due to a bad permanent retainer being placed and a bracket was left in place. Spoke with receptionist Samantha, to inform her of my issues. She was was so awful and disrespectful. The only reason that I called to let Dr. Degise know what was going on, given the extent of the issues we were experiencing, less than 4 months of getting braces off. However, after speaking with Samantha, who was completely defensive and unapologetic, I completely dislike the care and services that we received. We followed up with a dentist who does orthodontics and she statedk that she has never seen this type of permanent retainer EVER. She stated that it look like a braces wire was just glued on his teeth. This permanent retainer is trash. My sons bottom tooth is overlapping the tooth directly adjacent to it. This is a problem that was not there prior to braces. Now, my son will need more orthodontic work to fix this issue. The good news there is still a bracket left on the lower tooth so less time we will spend getting the new braces placed. I will NEVER go back due to the reason this case was handled. Samantha Insinuated that he didn't have a bracket left because the X-ray didn't show this. Which is so insulting. I did ask her than where did the bracket come from she said someone else must have place it there, because she had no ideal.

Dr. Degise and his assistants are wonderful and never a bad experience with them. If you can get past the extremely rude receptionist in the Peoria office you'll be fine. Almost transfer my daughters care after each phone call with her; just try to remember Dr. Degise is providing the care and only have to deal with being treated like a piece of garbage for a few minutes for my child to get excellent care.

My top teeth opened up a gap about a week after I was told I no longer needed my top retainer. My bottom retainer kept breaking for the first three or four times and everytime my teeth moved a little because instead of making it a priority I had to wait to be seen one time as long as 2 weeks, which is when my bottom teeth moved. They did not care that my teeth moved to the point where they are not straight in line nor did they even offer to fix it. Seemed as if the only patients they genuinely cared about were young children was 17 when I got mine put on and had them about 4 years. My teeth are to the point where I'm going to pay another orthodontist to fix them because I paid alot of money to this place and did not get a quality product or quality treatment

I had my braces on for 3 years and the day I got them off my front tooth was still crooked. I got braces to help make my teeth straight and they were still crooked when I got them off. I am very self conscious now.

I had my braces on for 3 years and the day I got them off my front tooth was still crooked. I got braces to help make my teeth straight and they were still crooked when I got them off. I am very self conscious now.

Dr. Degise was very nice and did a great job. The receptionist answering the phone however is extremely rude! It makes calling and getting information dreadful.

We absolutely LOVE Dr. DeGise Orthodontics! The staff is so caring and the atmosphere is so kid friendly. My son can not wait to play PAC-MAN while he waits to see the Dr! Everytime I come in they are so nice and welcoming, and my braces journey has been really good with them. It seems like there staff is like a little family because there is like pictures of them on the walls posing all together lol. I really enjoy coming here!
