Hey everyone! Im Dr. Collin Myrick, and I come from a long line of Walton County residents. My family lived in DeFuniak until I was 7 years old when my dad started teaching and coaching at Freeport High School. I have always loved calling this area home and could not think of a better community to serve.After graduating from Freeport High School in 2012, I earned a Bachelors Degree in Biomedical Sciences from Auburn University (War Eagle!) The Plains will always have a special place in my life, but the University of Texas School of Dentistry was my final landing spot for school.
I graduated with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2020 amidst a world of chaos that then began the best of career journeys. Though my time in school has ended, I am committed to continuing my education through advanced learning and seminar based clinical courses across the US and abroad to better serve our patients.At DeFuniak Springs Family Dental, I have found a team of clinicians who truly aim to provide more service for more people. I cant think of a better motto to live by. I am constantly encouraged by the effort each team member is willing to give to better educate, inspire and provide for the needs of our patients.
In addition to finding the perfect career fit, Ive been blessed to have found a wife, too! My fiance,Blaize, and I are excited about sharing in life, but more significantly, we aim to share Jesus in all that we do. Our wedding date is set for December 2021, and we cannot wait to find more ways to share the Gospel as we serve alongside others in the DeFuniak community.

Another incredible experience at DFS Family Dental! The office staff is always friendly and welcoming, immediately putting you at ease. Macey was my hygienist today, and it was my first time under her care. She was wonderful! Quite the perfectionist, making sure I was more than satisfied with my cleaning while also ensuring I was comfortable throughout my appointment.
