Dr. Grant Francis grew up all over Utah and in Eastern Idaho. He graduated Dental School from Case Western Reserve in Ohio, and has been practicing for over 20 years in Idaho. Dr. Francis and Andrea (the love of his life) have 4 kiddos. Dr. Francis and Andrea were able to welcome two new family members into the family when their son and daughter got married here recently. Their youngest just graduated High School this last year and will being joining her older siblings in Provo, Utah for school. That will make Dr. Francis and Andrea empty nesters except for their 4 legged child at home that seems to appreciate all the attention he gets now. Dr. Francis loves to be around his familywatching the Dodgers and skiing.
Invisalign is a form of braces that use clear tray aligners. Theyre made of Invisaligns own blend of plastic, and manufactured in their own facilities based on molds of your mouth. The aligners are a solid piece of plastic that is strong enough to put pressure on specific parts of your teeth to slowly move them into a better position.
Brandi is our office manager and came to work for Dr. Francis in July 2018, but has been in the dental field for over 20 years. She is very knowledgeable about the dental field and enjoys helping others maximize their dental insurance. She and her husband have been married for 27 years and just recently adopted a cowboy corgi puppy, Missy. In their spare time you can usually find them competing at the local team ropings.
Jeannie has been working for Dr. Francis since September 2018 and has found her second home. She has been in the dental field for over 15 years. She married her high school sweetheart, Gary of 33 years. They have 3 adult children, 4 dogs, and have lived in Eagle Idaho for 26 years!
Alexis is our full time dental hygienist and has worked at Francis Family Dental since 2017. Alexis grew up in Nampa and attended Idaho State University Hygiene program where she met her husband Jason. They moved to Utah after she graduated with her bachelors degree but came back to the Treasure Valley at the first chance they had. She loves to read, play all types of games, travel, bake and be silly with her two young daughters. She can play the cello.
Jill is our other full-time hygienist, we had to work extremely hard to sway her to come work for us. She has been with us since June 2018. Her passion for dental health and educating patients on their dental needs makes her a great addition. Jill is the mother of 2 amazing adult boys that she loves spending time with them and their wives. She just welcomed her first grandbaby the end of 2021! She enjoys gardening in her spare time.
Meet Shannon! She has worked with Dr. Francis for over 10 years and considers the office her second home. She has three rambunctious boys that keep her busy and in an attempt to even out the boy to girl ratio in her home her family adopted two female giant schnauzers. When she isnt working she enjoys fly fishing, refinishing furniture, interior decorating, and playing fetch with her puppies.
Anne started working with us in 2021 just after we moved into our new building. She has been a dental assistant since 2002 and enjoys the variety she gets on a daily basis dental assisting. Outside of work Anne enjoys spending time with her 3 girls and her husband. She recently pickup p archery and loves spending time outdoors, working out crafts and decorating. We are very lucky that Anne decided to come work for us here at Deerflat Dental.

I set an appointment to fix a chipped tooth and get professional teeth whitening from Dr. Francis. If I were doing it, it would've been pretty obvious to me to fix the tooth first and then make molds for the teeth whitening trays so that the molds would fit my fixed tooth. NOT Dr. Francis. He made molds for my teeth whitening trays before he fixed my tooth!! Then he fixed my tooth. And guess what? The teeth whitening trays that I paid $500 for did NOT fit!!! You would think someone with eight years of higher education would be able to figure out a simple task like that. NOT HAPPY- seriously $500

Horrible experience! Staff was rude to my son that had a stroke over his teeth not being the cleanest. For chrissakes he had a stroke. They used every reason to try to get our family away from the office. Definitely wouldn't recommend this dental office to anyone!

Dr. Francis and his staff are literally the best. They treat us all like family. Dr. Francis is so honest and kind and is so great with my little kids. The hygienists are AMAZING and help my kids understand the importance of taking care of their teeth. The office ladies are fun and know us when we come in. My girls love going to the dentist.

Dr. Francis and his staff are literally the best. They treat us all like family. Dr. Francis is so honest and kind and is so great with my little kids. The hygienists are AMAZING and help my kids understand the importance of taking care of their teeth. The office ladies are fun and know us when we come in. My girls love going to the dentist.

The front desk staff is the best ever. I am blown away that every time I walk in the door they address me by my name! I feel special and important from the moment I step in. The entire staff does a good job at asking me about my life and getting to know me. They do a great job with my kids too. I am comfortable leaving them in the play room while I get my teeth cleaned. And when it's the kids' turn they make sure they are taken care of and know what to expect. We always enjoy our visit!

I and my family have been going to Dr Francis for many years. He takes great care of me at each visit, listens and fixes my dental problems. His staff is accommodating and kind. I love the team at Francis Family Dental. I feel fortunate that 16 years ago they came to my daughters school and made such a positive impression that we started taking our children there. My husband and I decided to transfer from our current dentist because of how well they took care of our kids. I have NEVER regretted that decision. Plus their customer service is amazing. Our entire family has gone to Dr Francis for 14 years! Everyone that works there is friendly, personable, knowledgeable and caring. They are respectful of your time and therefore I have never had to wait much past my appointment time..that is a huge plus in my opinion. I highly recommend Francis Family Dental to anyone and everyone!

I had to have my remaining 14 teeth removed and get denture implants. Paid $5,500 up front. Dr. Francis removed the teeth and said to put in my new temporary dentures. He never said to put them in for only 1 day to keep the swelling and bleeding down. The next day the Dr. called to see if I was ok. I was. He never said I could take them out now. That was Thursday. He didn't tell me they were closed for the next 3 days. So, I kept the dentures in for a total of 5 days. The pain was excruciating. When I called the office, I only got a voice mail that gave me the Dr's home #. I called 5 times. The last time was almost in tears with the pain. I begged for him to call me back. I said "I can't take it any more, I have to remove them." I did and it was a bloody mess. My gums were like hamburger. I also told him on the phone that he needs a back up Dr. if he can't get to me. Also, he didn't give me enough medication to get me through the 5 days. When I got to the Dr's office Monday morning, I repeated everything and he never said 1 word. Only to say open up and lets see. Not one sorry, how are you now, what can I do to ease your pain. NOTHING. Then he said I can come in as many times as I need for adjustments, he didn't mention that he was going to charge me for each visit. I received a bill in the mail and promptly said I am not paying it. They then dropped the charge. As bone fragments work their way out, I had to go in to him to have them removed. I requested a pain shot to numb the area. He never answered and proceeded to remove them and use a bone file for any solid bone. I was almost screaming. He never said one word. The next time, I demanded it and he said it will cost me $25 each time. I got the shot. The dentures were very loose and kept wobbling. He said that was normal and that I should get used to it. Very rude man who won't speak to his patients. The staff however was exceptional. Very nice and caring. I miss them. I fired the Dr. and went elsewhere. The new Dr. said "Oh my gosh, these don't even fit." He fixed them and I am now chewing lightly. This new Dr. knows what he is doing where as Dr. Francis obviously doesn't and couldnt possibly care less for his patients. By the way, I'm saving $2,200 at the new Dr. Run while you still can!

My Wife and I love Dr. Francis. Always a professional environment. He and his staff are very thorough. They take their time cleaning and checking your teeth. They don't just check your teeth, they also check your facial and neck area to make sure there isn't anything unusual. They use the latest equipment when doing X-rays. We've been coming to Francis Family Dental for the last 3-4 years. We live in Meridian but come to Dr Francis in Kuna because he's an honest dentist. Our last dentist (in Meridian) told us we both needed root canals and crowns. When we had Dr. Francis check us he said we didn't need anything. If you want an honest dentist go to Francis Family Dental.

This is and was the best experience ive had at a dentist. Eberyone is very respectful, and they actually break things down and explain whats going on and whats can happen. Very much recommend them.

Such a great experience as far as going to the dentist can be :) They worked hard to help me find an appointment in my schedule and were so friendly and accommodating. The office was clean and didn't have any weird smells. The hygienist was so friendly and kind and my teeth feel amazing after not having been to the dentist in years. When they did xrays, I was given the usual body cover but it also included a neck cover to protect my thyroid, which I appreciated and had never been given. She also checked my neck and jaw for signs of cancer/lumps or bumps, which I had never experienced at the dentist and really appreciated. I was able to stay in the chair for the X-rays as she used an X-ray gun! So cool!! The dentist was also kind and gave me great information I hadn't had before about a tooth I was concerned about. All in all a great experience and I'll definitely go back and tell my friends about them!
