Dr. Mark Jacob graduated from Loyola University of Chicago and later received his doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University Of Illinois School Of Dentistry in 1984. He then continued his cosmetic dental training and became a full mouth graduate at the prestigious Illinois Institute, Arrowhead International and Occlusion Connections. His comprehensive training in advanced neuromuscular dentistry makes him part of an elite group of dentists. His understanding of occlusion in relation to cosmetic dental procedures makes his training especially unique.
Dr. Jacob is a member of the Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society and the American Dental Association. Dr. Jacob is the past President of the North Suburban Branch of the Chicago Dental Society, and has served as a Delegate to the Illinois State Dental Society. He is the past President of the Independent Dental Organization and has served on various committees for the dental society. Currently he is a member of Seattle Dental Study Club. Dr. Jacob and his wife live locally, with their two children aged 14 and 20. Dr. Jacob is an avid biker, golfer and a continuous student.

Dr. Brian Karshen graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and received is Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry in 1996. He later received his certificate in Periodontology from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry where he was trained in all aspects of periodontal treatment and implant placement. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society and the American Academy of Periodontology.

Dr. Jacob and his staff (I had Sandra and my hygienist) are wonderful! As a new patient, they made me feel comfortable and calm. Their cleaning technology, along with their cameras allow you to see the before and after pictures of your teeth so you can both feel and see the difference. I was very impressed with the care and professionalism throughout my appointment. I highly recommend Dr. Jacob and his staff.

I would like to tell everyone how amazing Dr. Jacob is. I have been seeing doctor J for almost 11 years now and my son has been coming to him for about 8 years. He and his staff are the most amazing, caring and compassionate people ever. We always look forward to our visits to the office. Could not have found a better dentist!

Dr. Jacob took me as a patient from another dentistry. I was skeptical visiting a new office for my dental work. The associates at the front desk immediately greeted me and were very friendly! Dr. Jacob then greeted me and took me under his wing. He replaced a veneer that fell out (the other dentistry put in) and went on to fix my other teeth cosmetically! My teeth look so good and I am extremely pleased with Dr. Jacob's professional, friendly, and experienced work. I've never been so happy with my smile. Highly recommend Dr. Jacob if you want your smile to become perfect!

Dr. Jacob is professional, friendly, and client-centered. My previous dentist used fear tactics to upsell their services to clients whereas this has never been the case with Dr. Jacob. He only recommends what you actually need and ensures that you are satisfied by the end of your visit. His dental hygienist, Sandra, is also amazing and personable. She remembers small details about our last conversation and has ways of making my dental visits pleasant and efficient. By far worst dentist I've ever been to, I should of read all the negative reviews before I came here they are all 100% accurate. Mark Jacob doesn't like to explain anything as far as procedures he's is extremely overpriced for the average work he does, has every excuse for every thing that goes wrong with his work.

Mark Jacob without my consent or informing me that a shot to my jaw will cause nerve damage, here we are 2 weeks later and my tongue is still numb and not getting better when I called the office the staff said "oh yea it takes up to 6 months to heal" I've missed time from work due to this I can't taste any food, I don't see how it was ok to administer such shot without The patient agreeing if that was the case I would've dealt with the pain while he worked on my tooth. This guy is the worst dentist he's remedial not sure how he's a dentist stay away from this office

I stumbled upon this gem when I was staying in town for an extended time. Immediately Dr. Jacob was polite, knowledgeable, honest, and straight to the point. Now I have to drive an hour, but it's so worth it. Dr. Jacob is an amazing professional and extremely accommodating, whereas my work schedule is very hectic. He also has a calming, comfortable demeanor, he goes out of his way to be kind. Dr. Jacob first worked on me, and now his assist Dr. Prieto works on me. I have to say, I have never, ever had a dentist be so soft and light handed when working on my mouth/teeth. Just that in itself makes me comfortable to be worked on. Thank you so much Dr. Jacob! See you again soon for my next appointment!

I love Dr. Jacob ! Extremely passionate about dentistry & goes out of his way for his patients. I hated going to the dentist & it stopped me from going for YEARS ! Now, with Dr. Jacob and his amazing staff I can't wait until my next appointment ! I got all four wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Jacobs and I have to say it was the most pleasant experience you could ask for. Dr. Jacobs pays a lot of attention to his patients needs and comfort. He shows great care and professionalism. You can rest assured you are in good hands with him. He really takes the time to explain to his patients what the problem is and how they can fix it for you. I would recommend this place to anyone searching for a new dentist.
