As our office manager, Joyce is a master of many things and keeps the office running smoothly as well as taking time with our new and current patients to review treatments and making sure that everyone understands the options that are presented to them. Dr. Sheen.
I have been in the dental field since 1980, starting out as a registered dental assistant. I have worked all phases of dentistry and my favorite is Periodontics! (It fits doesnt it! Perio, Peri!) I have been with Deer Park Dental since 2007 and have loved every minute of it. It really is a great place to work. Great doctors, co-workers and patients! I have two grown girls, ages 26 and 23. They are my world! I enjoy gardening and spending time in my yard, watching movies and reading.
Tracy is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island. She practiced for a periodontist for seven years before moving to sunny California. Tracy joined our dental family in January 2006. Tracy takes pride in teaching her patients about good oral health and diet. She is meticulous and patient in teaching proper hygiene techniques so your gums will be as healthy as possible. She is very thorough, and excellent.
I have been a Dental Assistant since 2001. I have been working at Deer Park Dental since 2001 and enjoy working with my team. I graduated from Andon College. On my spare time, I enjoy spending it with my family, and it is usually on the soccer field.
Jennifer assists Dr. Janice Scott, is the Senior dental assistant in charge of scheduling, ordering and sterilization and my right hand person. I have often described Jennifer as being worth her weight in gold. We often do not have to speak to know what each other wants. She has a soft and kind spirit and is a great member of the team. Jennifer is also bi-lingual and speaks Spanish which is a plus for many of our patients.
Mary is one of our longest standing hygienists, and has worked with our patients since 1993. She has a soft quiet touch and very focused in detail and her work. She is always a team player, and we have to say, Mary, it is time to go home, because, she never leaves until everything is done. She is a kind person who is always learning and finding ways to make your visit and oral health better. We are happy to have her as part of our team. Mary also works as a Dental Hygienist for Dr. Michael R. Moreno in his other office in Stockton, and has been in that office for many years.
Kira comes to us with almost 20 years experience as a Dental Hygienist. She prides herself in being very thorough and personal. She loves taking great care of her patients. Kira is always smiling and cheerful, and works hard to help you maintain good oral health.
I grew up in the Central Valley and have 25 years experience in the dental field. I recently joined Deer Park Dental and love being a part of their team in helping patients have a positive dental experience. I am looking forward to getting to know all of our wonderful patients. When I am not at work, I love being with my husband and two beautiful daughters doing family activities, having quiet time with a book, crafting and going for walks.
Shauna is a graduate of Loma Linda University School of Dentistrys dental hygiene program. She joined our office with over twenty years of experience as a hygienist and is very meticulous with her cleaning. She is also kind, personable, cheerful and loves to laugh. She has a strong interest in education, not only educating patients about their teeth, but in furthering her own knowledge and training.
I have been in dentistry since 2018. I am thankful to work at Deer Park Dental. This office feels more like a family rather than work. I appreciate my team, as well as our amazing patients. When I am not in office, I enjoy spending time outdoors camping and taking road trips with my husband and two boys.
I have been a dental assistant since I graduated from high school in 2018. I received my dental assisting license from Lincoln Technical Academy and I joined Deer Park Dental in October 2018. I work with both of our doctors and our hygiene team. I truly enjoy caring for our wonderful patients. During my free time, I enjoy baking and doing makeup.
I started out in the dental field as a dental assistant and was fortunate to learn the front office role. With nine years of dental experience, I take pride in putting patients first. I enjoy being a part of this wonderful team and look forward to continually assisting our patients with their insurance and billing needs. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with loved ones, reading a good book, or taking up new arts and craft hobbies.
My journey as a dental assistant began in 2014 when I graduated from Heald College in Stockton California. I joined Deer Park Dental in 2021 and Im the lead dental assistant to Dr. Von Tersch. Our office has great atmosphere where I find my days here very enjoyable. I love working with my amazing team members and taking care of our wonderful patients. During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, staying active and eating delicious food!

Deer Park Dental is an wonderful place to have a dentral work, I have never experience a personnel so professional, nice and kind like the whole staff in this clinic. You can feel the kidness and welcome the moment that you open the door until you are gone. They answer any question you have, they help you with the best options with your insuranse ... the service is exceptional. Thank you to all the staff to be so kind!

Enormous thanks, again, to Dr. Sheen and the entire Deer Park Dental team. Left today feeling quite spiffy with a brand new bridge. How marvelous to no longer have that gap in my mouth! See you next year! Enormous thanks to the Deer Park Dental team (Stephanie, Joyce, Allison, Jen, and of course, Dr. Janice Scott) for seeing me so quickly, as a new patient, having just cracked a crown. Everyone at this immaculate facility was helpful and accommodating. Dr. Scott knows her stuff and I was completely at ease in her care. Deer Park Dental is an amazing office. The entire staff is friendly, professional, and patient. The hygienists and dentists are always willing to answer questions and their attention to detail is incredible. Had my semi-annual dental cleaning with Mary. As usual, started on time with a friendly greeting and got my teeth sparkling again. We always have a good visit and I know the staff and Drs care about my well-being. I've been a happy patient for over 20 years.

Went in for a procedure feeling quite anxious. Dr. Sheen eased my anxiety by talking to me throughout the process; giving me a heads up on what to expect and checking in to make sure I was comfortable. Dr. Sheen has a gentle touch and sincere bedside manner. The staff is always friendly and accommodating, to boot. I'm so thankful for Deer Park Dental!

Extreme fear kept me from seeing a dentist for many years as an adult, but now I truly feel I'm in good hands here. I've nvr come across a more gentle, kind, and professional dentist. In fact, the entire staff was absolutely outstanding, and made me feel unjudged and genuinely cared for, despite my severe anxiety. I highly recommend!

Loved this group. Still love Dr. Von Tersch and the office staff. However, the business was recently sold and the new owner/dentist decided to not renew with Delta Dental and most importantly, NOT tell their Delta Dental patients ahead of time. I was informed AFTER my services. Not at the time of making the appointment or through a letter in the mail. I am loyal to people who are loyal to me and Dr. Jenny Sheen is not loyal to me or any of her Delta Dental patients. I feel she is unethical by not notifying patients ahead of time so they can make the choice to still go there or not. Remember, I wasn't informed until after the services were performed....

Ive been going to Deer Park Dental for about 10 years now and the care they give is worth this 5 start rating. They recently have changed dentists since Dr. Scott retired and Dr. Sheen does great work. She is very thorough with her examinations and very nice. Jennifer her assistant is great. She always greets you with a smile and great at her job. She is not only great with adult patients but with children too. She is always able to get my son's xrays without a problem. Wouldn't go to another place.

I have been going to Deer Park Dental for many years and it is a 70 mile one way trip . I'm sure I pass many dental clinics along the way but I'm positive I don't pass a better one. I was disappointed to learn of Dr. Scott leaving , she is a wonderful person and a great dentist.l have had the pleasure meeting Dr. Jenny Sheen and had her deal with a dental issue .Very competent ,professional and a great chair side manner.Stockton is lucky to have her .I have also seen Dr. von Tersch who is a great dentist. Round it all out with the office staff, hygienists and assistants, if you or your children need dental care this is where you want to be.

I recently saw my new Dentist - Dr. Jenny Sheen at Deer Park dental. To be honest I was afraid to go as I have been seeing Dr. Janice Scott for years. But, the new Dr. put me right at ease. She was prompt, proficient and gentle. I love my new Dentist!

Being that I'm over half a century old now by a few years, a business owner myself, a very difficult to please Virgo, and having had more than my fair share of experiences (good, bad, or otherwise), I know a jewel when I see it! I began by strong recommendation as a patient of Deerpark Dental prior to Dr. Scott's retirement, and already felt very grateful for this recommendation. The level of professionalism amongst the entire staff here is second to none! Everyone is so caring, friendly and helpful, that they feel like 'Family'....! I was a bit apprehensive when I'd discovered Dr. Scott had retired however, but much to my surprise (as these things rarely occur in this modern world), a great thing got even better! You see, there's a new 'Ray of Sunshine' glistening throughout the hallways at Deerpark Dental now.....new owner, Dr. Sheen!!! She is a young, very vibrant, comforting and inspiring Dental Professional 'Extraordinaire'!!! Upon my first visit with her today (10/12/21), I immediately recognized Dr. Sheen's keen professionalism and people skills, for which I made a point to personally praise her. I also noticed an even greater degree of happiness and vibrant smiles amongst Dr. Sheen's awesome staff, and while checking out and having a brief discussion with one of the staff members regarding this, the comment was, "Oh yeah....Dr.Sheen is absolutely AMAZING...I know I could never be happier working anywhere else!" I love this dentist. I been going here since I was a kid, still has great as I was a kid. I feel like family here. The dentist here will always take time to talk with you. The dentist will always try to do the right thing and try as best to save you money. Everyone is great here. I just lost my fiancee and the dentist took the time out to listen and be the shoulder to cry on. I don't know what I would do if they retired. This is the best dentist I have ever been too. This place treat you with respect. I always have the most friendlyest time here. I could come in their with a frown on my face and leave with a smile. These people care and are the sweetest people you will meet. I will always be a client here. This was my first dentist and will always be my dentist. I have been a patient of Dr. Janice Scott's for over 35 years. My children were patients as well until they relocated. Dr. Janice is an amazing dentist. She is kind, caring, professional, a perfectionist and a master of her profession. I love Dr. Janice, her staff, the location and the atmosphere of the office. Dr. Von Tersch joined the office in the last decade, I believe, and he is great fit for this practice. He is personable and did some fantastic work on some cosmetic dentistry for me. Deer Park Dental is the best. I've been going to Dr. Von Tersch for years and consistently he has been kind, courteous and excellent in dental care. His staff is a beautiful reflection of how he treats his patients . As a patient, I'm always treated as a number one priority. They have guided me through the most difficult situations (in my mouth) to a star patient at my bi-annual cleanings. Since the Covid tide, they have taken every possible precaution in keeping their patients safe. Five stars are not enough...they deserve a ten!

The entire staff at Deer Park Dental is amazing but Dr. Von Tersch and Kaitlyn were absolutely amazing! The brought my smile back to life!! My results were a 100000% more than I ever imagined! Thank you and I'm so happy I made the change to Deer Park Dental!
