Growing up I watched my grandparents struggle with dental health issues. And as a young child all I knew was I was going to change their lives for better! Their journeys was my inspiration to become a Dentist and make a difference and help people achieve great oral health with confidence.
My professional education started in India at Government Dental College, Bangalore where I graduated with BDS in 2005. I moved to the United States and pursued my DMD at Boston Universitys Henry M Goldman School of Dental Medicine and graduated in 2010. This unique opportunity to attend dental schools in two vastly different areas on the world was a remarkable learning experience. My quest to further surgical and implant training took me University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey where I completed a comprehensive training with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
Dentistry is ever-evolving and my commitment to continuing education has allowed me to keep abreast with the new advancements in this field. I strive to bring cutting edge technology and care to my patients. In 2017 I received my FAGD award from the The Academy of General dentistry in recognition for my commitment to continuing education and exceptional dental care while upholding the values of my profession.
I am passionate about helping people realize that dentistry can be a relaxing and a comfortable experience. No matter what your past experience has been, there is a unique solution for everyone and helping patients identify and achieve that goal is truly gratifying. I strive to provide the highest quality dental care and believe in open communication to develop long-term relationship with my patients. My practice is built on quality, honesty, and integrity. My team is an extension of my family and comprises of genuinely caring people who have a true passion for dentistry.
Being a dentist has been a fulfilling experience for me in both my professional and personal life. My time away from dentistry is devoted to family and friends. My husband and I are blessed with two beautiful children. We love to travel and spend time outdoors. When at home, we indulge in doing art and craft projects together.
Being a mother, I realize that it is important to educate children about good oral habits and diet from an early age. Together with my team, we organize dental health events at local schools to teach and share the importance of good dental health. I am also an active member and supporter of the SOS Childrens Village, an organization dedicated to the care of orphaned and abandoned children through the world.
Dentistry means everything to me. It has shaped the type of person I am and what I am able to accomplish for so many. I have served many different people with many different problems. The profession is extremely challenging as well as changing and is never dull or boring.
I earned my BS in Pharmacy from Northeastern University graduating with honors. I then continued my educational pursuit and received my DMD degree at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine graduating in 1983. I am constantly taking continuing education courses, which take me all over the country, to find the best possible dental education. I feel keeping up with the latest technologies, materials and procedures is what we should be doing to provide the best care and options to our patients.
What excites me the most is to be able to restore a patient to aesthetic function when they thought that they were beyond help. We have many cases and pictures of patients who are extremely pleased with how their work has come out when they thought they would be suffering the rest of their lives as dental cripples with missing teeth, bad smiles, or even no teeth. Using the extensive training and employing the advanced technology we have in the office makes this all possible.
I have also been an active member in the Order Sons of Italy in America, which has provided millions of dollars to such worthwhile causes as Alzheimers research, cancer research, and Cooleys anemia, for well over 28 years. I also support various local causes such as the food pantry.
I have had the pleasure of working along with Dr. Reddy and Dr. Farina since 2018 andI really enjoy being a part of this dental team. Together we provide comprehensive dentistry to our patients. It feels truly rewarding to help people feel confident in their smile.Aside from practicing hygiene, I help coordinate community outreach events, social media, and marketing for our practice. I really enjoy having this role as well.
I have a passion for dentistry and a great love of learning. I have been a part of the dental community since 1982 - starting out as a dental assistant before becoming a dental hygienist. My favorite part of my job is supporting others in their quest for better oral health, and ultimately better overall health.
I started my dental career as a pediatric dental assistant in 2007. When I realized how much I loved the dental field and helping patients, I decided to further my education.I earned my dental hygiene degree at NHTI in 2011.
I enjoy making genuine connections with patients and helping to improve their oral and overall health. I love dentistry but my most cherished titles are wife, to my high school sweetheart Jake, and Mom, to our two girls Emersyn and Elliette.
I have been a dental assistant for more than 20 years. I am confident in my abilities and I like to give my patients a wonderful, comfortable experience. I love everything about my job, but my favorite part of it is doing lab work. I also love Bon Jovi and Tinkerbell.
I was born and raised in Portsmouth, NH. I have been married to my wonderful husband, Stephen, since 1982. We have been blessed with three children. Christopher is a college professor. Chandra is a Physical Therapy Assistant and Message Therapist. Collin is presently going to school for Electrical Engineering. I started working in the dental field at this office in August 2008. My favorite part of my job is being able to assist wherever Im needed to help make the office run smoothly. I assist with hygiene, perform sterilization, take x-rays, and much more. I have loved working with both doctors as they both have a calm and carrying presence, a love for what they do, and a genuine caring for their patients and team.
