Dr.Ralph DeDomenico received a BS degree in biology from Fairfield University in Connecticut in 1970. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in May 1974 from the University of Louisville. He was awarded a teaching position on the faculty of the University of Louisville for one year, following graduation.
He then entered into orthodontic specialty training at the University of Louisville and also maintained a private general practice in Louisville, KY. Dr. DeDomenico received a certificate in orthodontics in August 1977. He has been engaged in private practice, specializing in orthodontics for adults and children in Tampa, FL since 1977.
Dr. DeDomenico is Board Certified by theAmerican Board of Orthodontics and is a member of the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics. This is the only orthodontic specialty board recognized by the American Dental Association and sponsored by the American Association of Orthodontists.
He is also a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, World Federation of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists, Florida Orthodontic Association, West Coast Dental Association, Florida Cleft Palate Association, Florida Dental Association, American Society of Dentistry for Children, and the Hillsborough County Dental Association.
Dr. DeDomenico was on the faculty of the University of Florida for 12 years and is currently on the faculty at the University of Louisville as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the orthodontic residency program.
Dr. Matthew Matt DeDomenico grew up in Tampa and graduated from the Academy of the Holy Names and Jesuit High School. While at Jesuit he was a member of the 1994 State championship baseball team. After receiving a degree in Biology from Florida State University, he went to the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. There he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a DMD degree. As well as graduating at the top of his class, he was honored with membership in Omicron Kappa Delta and the prestigious academic society of Omicron Kappa Upsilon. He continued his education at the University of Louisville and earned his Certificate in Advanced Training from their Graduate Orthodontic program.
Dr. Matt received advanced training in many current trends, including, but not limited to, Invisalign, Sure smile, self-ligation, the use of soft tissue lasers, and Temporary Anchorage Devices (TADs).
Dr. Matt is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, West Coast Dental Association, Hillsborough County Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontics, and Florida Association of Orthodontics.

All treatment staff members are certified assistants and the office team has decades of experience between them when it comes to caring for patients. Our staff members regularly attend educational courses, seminars, and meetings to ensure that they remain on top of the latest advances in technology in order to continue providing excellent patient care.

I have been a patient of Dr. Matt's at DeDomenico Orthodontics for almost a year. My expectations have been exceeded. Dr. Matt, the staff, my treatment plan, and the care taken to provide protection again Covid have been outstanding. I highly recommend DeDomenico Orthodontics.

As an adult, hearing that I would need to realign my teeth gave me all sorts of anxiety. From my appearance, to the rumored discomfort, to the financial and time burdens I envisioned, it was stressful.... ..Right up to my first visit at DeDomenico Orthodontics. From there Aura, Dr. Matt and the entire staff has made me feel 100% comfortable and relieved all of the anxiety I had from hearing "other peoples" experiences. My Invisalign aligners actually immediately improved the appearance of my smile, they are only mildly uncomfortable on the first day of switching to a new set, and the finance and office team are completely helpful and accommodating. I am greeted warmly and am treated like part of the DeDomenico family as soon as I walk in. I don't typically write reviews but sometimes the word is too important to keep to oneself. Dr. Matt is a true professional with excellent skills and an even better "dental chair-side mannerism." -JOL

I love this practice and the amazing work that they do inside of it! Dr. DeDomenico was recommended to me by my dentist when I was ready to get into braces, so I saw their team and picked out the perfect option for me. Their staff is beyond friendly and their times are flexible enough that if you need to cancel for any reason, they will work with you to reschedule in a timely manner. By far the best orthodontist around, I will never go to anyone else.

Dr. Matt and his staff are fantastic! My daughter liked how Dr. Matt explained to her everything he was doing and was also patient and friendly. I am so pleased how beautiful her teeth are now! I would highly recommend DeDomenico for children and adults as well. I look forward to working with them again when my son needs braces!

Dr. Matt and his staff were excellent. They repaired my permanent retainer wire quickly and did a very thorough job. They made sure it felt smooth and comfortable at the end, and the cost was very reasonable.
