Dr.Ralph DeDomenico received a BS degree in biology from Fairfield University in Connecticut in 1970. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in May 1974 from the University of Louisville. He was awarded a teaching position on the faculty of the University of Louisville for one year, following graduation.
He then entered into orthodontic specialty training at the University of Louisville and also maintained a private general practice in Louisville, KY. Dr. DeDomenico received a certificate in orthodontics in August 1977. He has been engaged in private practice, specializing in orthodontics for adults and children in Tampa, FL since 1977.
Dr. DeDomenico is Board Certified by theAmerican Board of Orthodontics and is a member of the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics. This is the only orthodontic specialty board recognized by the American Dental Association and sponsored by the American Association of Orthodontists.
He is also a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, World Federation of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists, Florida Orthodontic Association, West Coast Dental Association, Florida Cleft Palate Association, Florida Dental Association, American Society of Dentistry for Children, and the Hillsborough County Dental Association.
Dr. DeDomenico was on the faculty of the University of Florida for 12 years and is currently on the faculty at the University of Louisville as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the orthodontic residency program.
Dr. Matthew Matt DeDomenico grew up in Tampa and graduated from the Academy of the Holy Names and Jesuit High School. While at Jesuit he was a member of the 1994 State championship baseball team. After receiving a degree in Biology from Florida State University, he went to the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. There he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a DMD degree. As well as graduating at the top of his class, he was honored with membership in Omicron Kappa Delta and the prestigious academic society of Omicron Kappa Upsilon. He continued his education at the University of Louisville and earned his Certificate in Advanced Training from their Graduate Orthodontic program.
Dr. Matt received advanced training in many current trends, including, but not limited to, Invisalign, Sure smile, self-ligation, the use of soft tissue lasers, and Temporary Anchorage Devices (TADs).
Dr. Matt is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, West Coast Dental Association, Hillsborough County Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontics, and Florida Association of Orthodontics.

All treatment staff members are certified assistants and the office team has decades of experience between them when it comes to caring for patients. Our staff members regularly attend educational courses, seminars, and meetings to ensure that they remain on top of the latest advances in technology in order to continue providing excellent patient care.

Made an intake appt for my daughter.... Showed up early, as instructed. My toddler coughed. The receptionist FREAKED OUT. (Yes, we had our masks on... No, no one was sick.) We happily let her take everyone's temperature, but she said my teenager had a temp and that the office couldn't see her. I took her temp as soon as we got home (about 15 min later). She didn't have a temp. I have NO idea why the receptionist was so weird, but it was obvious that she was making up an excuse to not see us that day. It made me worried that this ortho would not be able to provide my daughter with competent service if they START OUT making up excuses...

I have trusted Dr. D with my 3 children for years. I have always had a great experience. Excellent orthodontist! The staff is caring and helpful. My kids feel very comfortable here. Highly recommended!

We have two children that have gone through treatment with DeDomenic Orthodontist. We are so happy with how we were treated from start to end. The doctors and staff are wonderful. They are always friendly and very helpful. The doctors always meet with you to give you updated on what they did and the next steps. I cannot express how helpful everyone is. You feel like you are part of the family. They also are very accommodating with school schedules. We are very happy with the results of our children's treatment. I would highly recommend DeDomenic Orthodontist.

DeDomenico Orthodontics has done three jobs for my family: two conventional sets of braces and one Invisalign. All results were superb! They are head and shoulders above other orthodontists. Highly recommended!
