Dr. Louis J. Sawan is an owner and the Dental Director of Dedham Dental Associates. Dr. Sawan was born and raised in Dedham, graduated from Dedham High School in 1979, and is still deeply committed to the people and community of Dedham at all levels. After graduating from Northeastern University in 1984 with two Bachelor Degrees, he was accepted to Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. In 1988, Dr. Sawan continued his dental education and for two more years as a resident of the Tuft Specialty Residency in Prosthodontics.
As a former Assistant Clinical Professor at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Sawan has lectured locally and internationally in the field of Prosthodontics. Dr. Sawan practiced in Dedham, at Dedham Medical Associates, for 18 years where he was very actively involved on many committees including serving as a board member on the Board of Directors. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society and the American College of Prosthodontists.
In 2012, Dr. Sawan and his partners formed Dedham Dental Associates. Dr. Sawans strong passion for architecture and his keen eye for form, function and aesthtics can be seen throughout our state-of-the-art office, the construction of which Dr. Sawan was the prime overseer. Theses skills mesh perfectly with those of a refined, skilled and focused dentist.
Due to her love of the profession, Dr. Rusinova chose to continue her career and education by graduating from the Boston University Goldman School of Dentistry, Advanced Standing Program in 1996. As a valued provider at Dedham Medical Associates, Dr. Rusinova had been practicing General Dentistry in the multi-specialty division since 2007.
With artistic skill and precise handwork, your dental care will be expertly crafted to your specific needs. Dr. Rusinova understands that each patient is an individual, thus the treatment you receive is as unique as you are. She is committed to her patients and takes great pride in delivering quality care from routine annual examinations, to larger cosmetic procedures such as Crowns, Bridges and Veneers.
When away from the practice, Dr. Rusinova enjoys vacationing with her husband, and continuing her education by attending lectures and practical courses that further promote her dental expertise. Her love of artistry transcends into personal interests, with a vast appreciation for all facets of painting and sculpture.

Came here after reviews good and up until this happened First the hygienist k says no cavities great but then took out all my previous fillings all silvers in one big round Then had dr Patel come in to examine and dr Patel after greeting says my child so smart do great things ! Then proceeded and had me open my mouth wide open then used instruments hurts trying to knock my teeth's outs and says needs to pull out the whole teeth! When just before mind you the hygienist k saids no cavities! So lefts very afraid and disappointed along with the big round silver fillings left behind at their instruments panels ! Very very sad ! So after this called to cancel all my appointments! So scared afraid! Before Diane reception was nice greets me! But on that day when first go in no word was said no greetings! Like she knows something and instead pretended to be on the phone or not! And on my way out of the dentist office did not see Diane! And at the next appointment for my kids a new dental receptionist there greets me when texted about coming as required! And when asked about Diane whereabouts! Says no longer here! Dedham dental! So texted about what took place previously and new receptionist says sorry or some apology to make feel better! Needs all's lost silvers fillings and makes it good and rights!

The dental hygienist was too rough. I had a mouth full of blood after my cleaning. And my gums were sore afterwards. Hence why I specifically requested to Cavitron for my cleaning. Definitely not my best experience.

Office manager is absolutely disgusting. Very rude and thinks she knows what your about to say, talks to you like your child. Unprofessional didn't even make an appointment because of it.

I have nothing but great things to say about Dedham Dental! It's strange to share how much of an effect the professionals have made on me, being a dentist office and all. I will admit, my first encounter with a previous dentist (who is no longer there) wasn't the most pleasant; to the point I almost left. However, since working with Dr. Patel and Dr. Sawan, the experience has been a complete 180. They, along with the various hygienists I've worked with, show true humanity and compassion to their patients. It is truly unique to see that within the industry. Thank you for all that you do and setting the bar high. I will never go anywhere else!
