Staff was kind, but I wanted to see my son's x-rays one more time before proceeding and because we did the consultation at the other office they didn't have them. I just wanted validation that it was really necessary. After the procedure my son could barely walk to the car because he was so sedated. I'm a nurse and they gave him WAY more than necessary. His recovery and results were fine, hence the 3 stars. But then when I got my bill from my insurance we had overpaid by more than $250. I hoped that they would've sent me a refund check but after 3 months I finally called them. They were nice over the phone and said they would send me a check right away. Hopefully I'll get it in a timely manner. Sorry to say I'm taking my other family members elsewhere.

After my wife underwent quite a terrible experience at a different local dentist in Bountiful, Dr. DeDecker was recommended to complete a tooth extraction. His office was able to see her immediately, and they did an absolutely wonderful job with explaining all of the options available for the procedure. They were then able to get her in the next day for the surgery in order to minimize any extra days of pain that she was experiencing, as well as prescribe medication to help with her pain. I found Dr DeDecker and his staff to be friendly, professional and very knowledgeable, and his locations in Layton and Bountiful were both warm and inviting as well. I truly appreciate Dr. DeDecker stepping in and saving the day for my wife, and I would definitely recommend him and his staff for any of your dental needs.

Today I scheduled our ninth child to have Dr Dedecker extract their wisdom teeth. I have seen nothing but excellence in the care, organization, atmosphere and location of his practice. Thank you Dr Dedecker for a job well done!

We have quite a history with this oral surgeon. He has treated 6 of our children, and done several procedures on me, including two tooth implants. We have had positive results. He has a gentle touch and his procedures work as advertised. The place is easy to find, and parking is usually plentiful

I can't recommend Dr. Dedecker highly enough. I'm 26 and only just got all four of my wisdom teeth out. I've heard horror stories from others, and was definitely nervous, but this process was SO smooth. I've had them out less than 24 hours and I have no pain, no bleeding, no swelling! He even personally called me about 5 hours after the procedure just to check on me and make sure any questions I had were answered. His staff is also professional and kind, and scheduling the procedure around my busy life was a breeze! I felt very well taken care of!

I went in with a lot of expectations about how horrible wisdom teeth removal would be for me, and I was very pleasantly surprised at how much easier it was to go through than I thought it would be. The staff was kind and they knew what they were doing the moment I came through the door. The nurses treated me very well as they prepared me for the procedure, as well as after I woke up. And Dr. DeDecker completed all four of my extractions in about 30 minutes, so not only was I not in the procedure room for hours on end, I got to go home in record time to recover. I an so thankful for an experienced staff who made an otherwise unpleasant experience more bearable for me.

My teenage daughter suffers from anxiety and having wisdom teeth removed can be stressful! They were compassionate and helpful. The staff is very prompt with answering insurance company questions.
