These guys are "not taking new customers," especially if you have a dentist somewhere else, so don't bother calling. I sure hope their existing customers last forever, because I doubt they will be getting new ones with that attitude.

Was a good place. But they will stop accepting your insurance without notice. So beware of surprise billing from them. They've completely lost our trust and do not recommend.

The office is lovely and very clean. Staff was friendly and professional. I didn't have an opportunity to meet Dr. Dillon but the dentist who was filling in for her, Dr. Detrick, was very friendly and professional. I am a new patient after leaving my longstanding dentist who I loved but stopped carrying my insurance. I will return to Decatur Smiles for my 6 month cleaning.

Pretty disappointed with scheduling issues from this office and their lack of concern for serious pain experienced in patients. Their website suggests booking an appointment via text, but responses are spotty. When I finally reached the office to explain the urgent problem I wanted an appointment for, they informed me that the next available appointment was over half a year from now. I let them know that the pain was excruciating, and they said they could get me in for a quick check up around one month. Since before this I had not received any responses on weekends or at night, I confirmed that appointment before the weekend and responded with information about dental insurance after the weekend ended. By this time, the office informed me that they had filled the appointment I had already concerned. Considering that I told them how much pain I had been experiencing, this really just rubbed me the wrong way and made me feel like they did not care at all (especially since I had been waiting for their extremely limited availability). Plenty of other dentists! I won't be booking any appointments here.

Dr. Dillon and the staff at Decatur Smiles have made me not hate going to the dentist for the first time in my life! Everything is thoroughly explained and I feel like my comfort and safety is their top priority. Would give 6 stars if I could!

And a third opinion -- also three. Got my three cavities filled elsewhere, so I wouldn't be charged for FIVE unneccessary fillings clogging up my mouth. These practices are unethical and illegal. Take caution when visiting this dentist. Unfortunate that a local practice feels the need to chase away customers.

I found this place based on the high reviews and I'm very happy to say that this is the best office I've ever been to. Very professional and talented with what they do. I highly recommend this place for anyone that is looking for a place they can trust.
