I was inspired to go into the dental fieldwhenI workedfor a general dentist the summer after college graduation in 2003.I loved the science, art, and attention to detail in the practice of dentistry, and after delving further,came tospecialize in orthodontics. I've really enjoyed doing what I do - it'snot only a meaningful way to care for people'shealthbut also to build relationships with our patients and their families.
Originally from Austin, Texas, Dr. DeCamps practiced orthodontics in New York before moving to Baltimore in 2014. When shes not caring for patients, Dr. DeCamps spends time with her husbandChris, who works in his familys 115-year-old maritime business, and their daughter Katie. She also enjoys gardening in the backyard and trying out new recipes.

I enjoy watching how ourpatients changeduring treatment. Their personalities begin to shine as their smile transforms. Its amazing to see how happy they are when we remove their braces: That moment they look in the mirror and see all theyve accomplished is the best!
I assist Dr. DeCamps, chairside, during procedures. While acting as a second pair of hands for her, I talk with our patient about what were doing. I also clean and sterilize instruments, prepare study models, fabricate retainers, and maintain our supply inventory.
When Im not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. Im a proud mother of a handsome son and beautiful daughter. I love seeing and learning new things and enjoy road trips. One day I would love to drive across the United States!
I enjoy spending my day helping people. Getting to know thepatients as they start treatment and watching their excitement grow as their smile improves is an amazing experience. I never get tired of seeing peoples smiles when treatment is completed!
I welcome people, check them in, update their paperwork, and schedule future visits. I also verify insurance and work with patients and families to make sure they get the most from their benefits. In addition, I handle billing and related matters.
Outside of work, I enjoy time with my husband of 45 years, as well as our two children and four beautiful grandchildren. I am active in our church and love sports, especially cheering for the University of Oklahoma teams, along with the Ravens and Orioles!

Awesome orthodontist! Dr. DeCamps is extremely detailed and very informative. Any question you have about what's going on with your treatment and she will gladly answer. Her staff is wonderful too! :) She gave me an estimate of 15 - 18 months of treatment and I was done in 13 months! It works when you work. Follow her directions and you won't be disappointed.

Dr. DeCamps took over my treatment from Dr. Williams. I got my braces at age 50 . I really appreciate that she is happy to answer any questions I have about my treatment and progress. Her assistant, Karen and manager, Sandy are both pleasant and professional. The practice runs on time so I don't spend much time in the waiting room. That is a plus.

I've been following an Invisalign program from Decamps Orthodontics for ~6 months now and have had good progress in my smile. My teeth are straighter, more aligned, and more even. I find the staff really friendly, they answer all questions in a warm, informative, and non-judgmental manner. The location is organized, and they're very understanding and flexible about re-scheduling appointments. I like that they gave a clear prediction of what progress to expect, over what timeline, and what would be necessary to achieve it. I do feel that Dr. Decamps cares about me as her patient and is eager to seek a very good outcome.
