As the first pediatric dental practice in the New York Community of Downtown Rye, RyeSmiles Pediatric Dentistry is also the largest and oldest. Deborah Troy, DDS, Charles Yau, DDS, board certified and the team work together to ensure all patients and their families feel safe and comfortable in their care, no matter what your childs needs may be. To ensure their patients receive the best care possible, they also work with local pediatricians.
The practice dedicates itself to providing gentle, personalized care to children of all ages. With more than 30 years of experience in the community, the team has specialized training to care for children with special needs and medically complex patients. The experienced dental team even offers sedation dentistry, including general anesthesia, for their patients.
The team offers pulpectomies (baby root canals),silver diamine fluoride, the ICON white spot treatment, and glass ionomer restorations. They also use DryShield and Ivory ReLeaf products to ensure patient comfort during teeth cleanings,while minimizing aerosols. To reduce numbness after treatment with anesthetics, the team uses Oraverseis available for those children who will be uncomfortable post-operatively.
The office is open six days a week, but the team is available 24/7 for emergencies. A provider is always on call, even on nights, weekends, and holidays. The doctors both live in the Rye community for easy availability.

Best pediatric dentist around. Dr Debbie and the whole staff at Rye Smiles are loving, caring and patient. My kids love coming here and are never afraid of the dentist. Thanks for the best dental experience a child can have!

When I thought about finding an ideal Pediatric dentist, I searched for someone who was competent, reliable and someone my kids could trust. Dr. Debbie and her staff checked all the boxes. Besides that, I love the office and it's decor. It's such a happy place. Yes, I'm talking about a dentist's office.

I highly recommend Dr. Deb! Dr Deb, the hygienist , and office personnel go above and beyond for their patients. The office is very nice and has lots of fun stuff for kids.

Dr. Debbie is the kindest provider, extremely knowledgeable and provides the best service. She makes the "going to the dentist" experience virtually painless. The office itself is designed to be kid friendly, interactive, and engaging, making it fun for kids. The office staff are so friendly and welcoming as well.
