She graduated from Hamden High School and attended Connecticut College in New London where she was a Zoology major. In 2002, Dr. Griffin began her studies at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. During her years as a student, she received many prestigious awards due to her hard work. Dr. Griffin is a lifetime member of the Tufts chapter of the OKU Dental Honor Society, and she graduated first in her class in 2006. Dr. Griffin then remained at Tufts to complete her orthodontic residency.
Upon graduating, she joined Dr. Gange as an associate and practiced alongside him for eight years. She has served as president, vice president, and secretary of the Tolland County Dental SocietyOpens a new window to the website and is currently the vice president and secretary. All this experience has helped her develop her unique approach to orthodontics.
Dr. Griffin is also an active member of the Central Connecticut Orthodontic Study GroupOpens a new window to the CCOSG website where she enjoys learning about the latest advances in her profession with her peers. By 2016, Dr. Griffin acquired the Vernon location to start her own practice. Here she performs what she loves the most; helping her patients achieve a healthy, beautiful smile.
Dr. Griffin and her husband, Christopher, reside in Ellington with their sons Drew and CJ, and Brady, a mini Australian Labradoodle. When she is not working, Dr. Griffin loves spending time with her family, exercising, and catching up with friends.
Dr. Griffin is amazing! Everyone in the office is so nice and accommodating! Dr. Griffin even called in the evening to check on my daughter after she had gotten her braces on that morning. She goes above and beyond, for sure!
The staff is always friendly and upbeat. Dr. Griffin really cares about her patients and has been wonderful. I love that she called the nights my kids got their braces to make sure they were ok and had no problems. Truly fantastic office staff and I wouldnt want to go anywhere else.

This was my first time at doctor Griffin's orthodontist office and it was an amazing experience to see all of the employees smiling at me with their nice warm and welcoming smiles and doctor griffins cute doggie they are all so welcoming!

I had a very bad experience with the office, dr. Griffin who had been monitoring my daughters mouth who is now at the age of 14, she's had her for over 4 years my daughter wasn't ready because she was scared we had a disagreement over her treatment because we kept going in and it was only for a few min so I was upset that there wasn't enough time to work with my daughter to assure her that everything was going to be ok. I felt rushed. I called to say because since the pandemic we haven't went in to the over and the office manager came on and decided that they was going to throw my daughter out like trash and not continue with us. I'm very upset and will be taking this to a lawyer my daughter didn't do anything and I had a disagreement with you. Instead of working on a game plan you dismiss her. That's very unprofessional!

Friendly. Knowledgeable staff and Dr. Griffin is a great orthodontist, very helpful. They always have lots of fun things going on for those wearing traditional braces (I've seen the signs) and there social media is great which Im sure helps the kids stay on track and informed. Clean, always super clean.

To say that Dr. Griffin and her staff are phenomenal is an understatement. The level of care that I received as a patient of Dr. Griffin's was nothing short of top notch. I never felt rushed into doing anything. She made sure I completely understood the process and was comfortable with the plan of care that was created for me. Dr. Griffin goes above and beyond for her patients; she took time out of her evening to call me after my first Invisalign appointment to see how I was doing, check on my comfort level and ask if I had any questions. From start to finish her and her staff are knowledgeable, kind and they have the sweetest dog Brady in office as well. I have recommended her to friends and family alike and I am confident when I say, you won't regret choosing her office for your orthodontic needs.

We initially chose Dr. Griffin's office because of Brady, her incredible therapy dog. My daughter has special needs and is very nervous at dental appointments. We soon learned, however, that even when Brady was napping and unavailable, Dr. Griffin and her staff were so amazing that my daughter was at ease in their care. From the initial consultation through all the phases of her dental work, my daughter has been comfortable and even looks forward to going to the office! I cannot give high enough praise to Dr. Griffin and her team!

To say that Dr. Griffin is amazing is an understatement! My son went there for his braces this is year and Dr. Griffin and her staff is kind & understanding. When he had an issue at night she called back at NIGHT! Her staff is warm and encouraging even when we had to have him go in alone with Covid! She is also an amazing pillar of the community who gives to the PTO and anyone who asks for help. She's not only a wonderful Doctor but a passionate, kind, person I highly recommend her and her practice. I will be taking my daughter there as well. She really cares about her patients and families. You won't be sorry!!

Recently started with Invisalign at Dr. Griffin's office. Truly had a great experience during each visit. All members of the staff are incredibly nice and were great about scheduling. I also felt that their Covid guidelines and protocols were sufficient, and i felt safe being at the office. I still have a ways to go but i look forward to the end result and my future visits with Dr. Griffin and her staff. Thank you!!!
