Having a special needs child it's always less worrisome when Christy plans the surgery and Dr Ashcraft performs here dental work at Children's Hospital. I encourage anyone with a special needs child to go through this office for their dental care.

My daughter was told that she needed to have four tooth extractions along with four cavities filled. I received a second opinion and no extractions and fillings were needed at this time.

This was truly one of the the most worst experiences I have ever had with a provider. I took my daughter here as a referral. This office refused to let parents in the back with their children which already was very strange to me. We waited for two hours! After Mj was done I was then called back to go over her appointment. The nurse tells me Ashcraft had a very hard time with Mj being uncooperative. I let her know in the past she has very traumatic experience at the denist before. The nurse was very professional and apologized to Mj that she had that experience before. Ashcraft then came in the room and immediately started to attack my daughter and myself saying how disrespectful mj is and that she can't work on her and that Mj shut down and would not talk. I then asked her to stop talking to me in the tone that she was. I then asked her if my daughter really hit her....her answer was NO , she put her hand up. So now she just lied on my child. Come to find out Mj put her hand up because Ashcraft scrapped her gum and Mj reacted. Mj then told her that she hurt her, Ashcraft said "no, I did not." I also explained to her that my child does not handle high stress well and she does shut down and will not talk but AS A CHILDREN'S DENTIST...you should know how to handle a child. She continued to be completely disrespectful and so hurtful towards myself and Mj while MJ was in the room with us. Mj had her head down balling her eyes out. I then excused ourselves from the room because how dare you!!! After going to back to the waiting room, I asked one of the nurses if Ashcraft is always like this and she couldn't even say anything...which said enough. I would NEVER recommend anyone going to the office. I had to apologize to Mj for having to experience Ashcraft's dentistry.. I also have been made aware of a friend who worked their, she said Ashcraft is awful to her employees and to her child patients. I am not one to do this but this is not ok!!!

Everything was fine. Grace is so nice when calling to remind us of the appointments. The dental staff is great too.

Dr. Ashcraft chose to cancel my son as a client on her list without telling us why or anything. My son is special needs and it is hard to find a dentist to care for his teeth. I thought that was very rude of her. Then, when I called, the administrative assistant acted like she could not find my son's file because she said it was tucked away in the attic of patients that they no longer served. That doesn't even make sense. At some point you still have to transfer records. You just can't simply say they are in the attic right now. The assistant said Dr. Ashcraft dropped us because she sent out an appointment and we never responded. Okay, I moved a few times yet my number has been the same for over 13 years. A phone call would have been nice and my voicemail box is never full. Yes, it was difficult subscribing to her mandatory appointments because I have a job. Appointments should not be mandatory. I should have a day and time to select, not you assign me a day and time. I am utterly appalled. I was always respectful and kind to her. Never caused any trouble. I swear, this world has really cruel people in it. Dr. Ashcraft: you dropped us because we moved and your appt letter never reached us, but you and your staff never called a working number that was on file and did not leave one voicemail. Very rude and unprofessional to say the least.

Theses Reviews are horrible thanks for letting me and my family know and if everyone is saying the same thing on different experiences then it has to be true this place don't need to be in business especially when it comes to children and the reviews range from now to previous years ago and just like everyone else I do my research for anything before I make my final decision.

My daughter loves this office. Due to insurance, we recently changed to Dr. Ashcraft and I am so pleased. You may experience a wait time but the service is worth.

Beware of this dentist!!! My husband was told that my 4 year old child would have to go back and be strapped into a papoose by herself. He was not comfortable with that, because our daughter is terrified of the dentist, she has seperation anxiety & she is claustraphobic. So he explained that to them & was told to find a different dentist. Im sorry, but forcing a 4 year old child into a papoose & seperating them from their only advocate to pull out a tooth is insane. Its like they don't care if they traumatize children. The fact that she told my husband to find a different dentist all because he was raising some concerns for our daughter's care is showing a ton of red flags. And i will also mention that he heard another child screaming out of pain in the room over and dr. Ashcrafts response to that was that he needed to learn to control himself and hold it together. And he was actively telling her that it hurt. But she did not care. I believe she doesn't want your child to have an advocate in the room with them, so that she can do what she wants.

Our first appointment was amazing! We haven't had the best experiences with dentist but Dr. Ashcraft and her staff were very informative with every step! They were so kind, made sure every concern or question was answered and made sure my daughter was comfortable! By far the best experience and we are so lucky to have found someone who truly cares for their patients!

Is sad to read comments so rude from mothers who probably can't even control their own children and expect to someone else to do it. My son has been attending this office from his first time, he is turning 15 soon and we LOVE THE WHOLE STAFF !!!!, so my recommendation is if you are not happy with the service just go somewhere else but don't ruin the reputation of a hard worker people like them . Oh and about the wait, pandemic brought a lot of changes everywhere and I don't mind waiting on my vehicle watching my Netflix series, cause my health comes first and my son needs too, so I take the time when he is having his appointment
