Dr. Steven Calhoun was born and raised in Austin, Texas, and attended high school in Florida. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Florida, graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. Dr. Calhoun then graduated from the University of Florida College of Dentistry, where he cultivated his clinical skills and refined his eye for dental aesthetics. He was involved in the Christian Dental and Medical Association and the Psi Omega National Dental Fraternity. Dr. Calhoun is also a member of the American Dental Association and the Florida Dental Association. He routinely participates in continuing education to stay on top of the evolving field of dentistry, allowing him to provide you with the most up-to-date treatments and guidance available.

Dr. Calhoun understands there is a unique individual attached to every tooth and strives to make sure every patient is comfortable, informed, and satisfied with their entire treatment process. His fine attention to detail allows him to deliver beautiful aesthetic results, while his medical expertise and skillset ensure excellent health and longevity for his patients smiles. Dr. Calhoun is honored by each and every patient who entrusts him with their care.

In his free time, Dr. Calhoun enjoys learning about new cultures through travel, cheering on the Gators and Longhorns in college football, cooking with his wife, Jamie, and working out to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

I consider myself very fortunate to have found dentistry as a profession. Being in a position to help others achieve and maintain optimal oral health while building life-long relationships is something that Im grateful for every day and will never take for granted.

Dr. Mark Wells is originally from south Florida, where he lived until moving to Orlando to attend the University of Central Florida. After receiving a degree in Microbiology and Molecular Biology, he pursued a masters degree and subsequently a doctoral degree at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Wells is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the Academy of Laser Dentistry.

Dr. Wells strives to provide his patients with compassionate care, evidence-backed knowledge, and a support system that encourages optimal oral health. He hopes to cultivate an office experience that is comfortable, interactive, and educational for the entire community. He takes great pride in creating healthy, beautiful smiles for patients of all ages and is passionate about empowering his patients to achieve the smiles they deserve.

I chose this dental office as they took my insurance coverage.Id had visited another great dentist who wasn't in my ins network. And I went by the Google reviews.I went there for a second opinion as I have to have an old root canal extracted. All the staff were very pleasant and friendly and Dr Wells took the time and explained the treatment I needed and what to expect. I am very nervous about any dentists but felt at ease there...Dr Wells made me feel comfortable...At checkout the receptionist went over the treatment plan and explained the pricing and coding so I could double check the coverage with my ins company. My wait time upon arrival was minimal and when I called to schedule I was able to get an appt within a couple of days. I haven't had any treatment there yet but do plan on going back as the treatment plan is more affordable with ins.Overall a great/poaitive experience.

Beth was excellent. Very efficient. Pain was non existent. I wasn't sure about their communication between Dr and front desk. I was told I needed to b seen back soon. That the work needed to be done. Then they give me an appt 3 months away? Makes no sense.

I am so happy I came to Debary Dentistry! It has been too long since I have been to the dentist because of anxiety but Dr. Wells and the staff were patient and understanding of my situation. For the first time in my adult life I am actually looking forward to going to the dentist!

As an older patient, I've been through decades of dentists, and I have never, ever, been to a kinder, more caring, or more skilled dentist in my life. Most dental experiences over the years have either left me feeling like a number in a factory as best, or left me in pain at worst. With Dr. Calhoun, you can genuinely tell that he cares about you. He really listens, which feels so rare in the medical field these days. This is an office of integrity through and through. I can just tell he has a good heart and was meant for a job in service to others. I first saw him after some poor-quality dental work from another local dentist left me unsatisfied. I thought I might have to go to a specialist, but Dr. Calhoun was skilled enough to fix my problem himself, and painlessly at that. I've since recommended Dr. Calhoun to all of my family and friends, and will never go anywhere else.
