The environment is peaceful and the whole team is patient and understanding. Dr. Funada is soft spoken and caring so you won't feel pressured or unnecessarily tense. If you need a second opinion or looking for a knowledge dentist, give Dr. Funada a try!

Dr. Funada is great with my 3 kids who have seen him since they were 2 and 3 yrs old and with me (crown, extraction, filling). He's the reason my boys don't fear dentists even though they have over a dozen cavities between them. Dr. Funada does restorative and some extractions and treats adults and kids. He looks young but he's old like me and is a skilled 20+ yr pro. Recently I did a cleaning in Lincoln (because I work there) and was told I had 2 cavities. I declined to let them do it and went to Dr. Funada to do them. He told me I didn't have any cavities. Saved me $ and unnecessary discomfort. Really good hygienists too. Also, Dr. Funada is not the type to broadcast it but he volunteers with free mobile dental clinics and volunteers a lot at his church and kids' schools.

I just had my first visit to Dr. Funada's office. In all of my 37 years I feel like this was the most thorough & informative dental appointment I have ever had. I had been going to the same dentist for the past 32 years so I was a little nervous to go to a new one. Anne the hygienist was just amazing & really knew how to deliver bad news that didn't make me feel bad! Dr. Funada was very friendly and I can tell really cares about his patients. I 100% recommend this office!

Best dental experience ever! Just for a bit of context, I have a mild to moderate fear of dental work, especially of shots due to passing out during past dental procedures. Since these episodes, I have developed many coping strategies from listening to music during procedures to being connected to oxygen. Dr. Funada did a great job on my most recent filling and was extremely accommodating. He listened to my needs and made sure I was comfortable. When I told him I had my playlist ready, he offered to let me use the office's Bose noise canceling earphones to use. Later, when the hygienist noticed I had repositioned my legs, she offered me a knee pillow. Neither of these things have ever been offered to me at a dentist in the past. When he found he was low on his nitrous oxide supply, he was honest with me and presented his plan to use what he had to get me through the numbing shot and told me I would not be charged for it. He was phenomenally gentle with the shot; I don't think I even felt it. All in all, an awesome experience. I cannot recommend Dr. Funada and his practice enough! Thank you Dr. Funada!

I had 3 seperate great experiences here. They were very accommodating when I said I was moving and had to get all my dental work done in 3 weeks or less. Doctor Funada is really nice and did a great job on all the fillings I needed. They also took my work dental insurance from guardian which not a lot of highly rated places did! Thanks everyone :D
