Dr. Dean completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of South Florida in 1998. From there, she ventured to Nova Southeastern University and completed her Doctorate in Medical Dentistry in 2002.
Since then Dr. Dean has opened her own dental office in Holiday, Florida, where she continues to provide quality dental care. In her spare time, she also volunteers at many local dental outreach facilities.
Dr. Dean firmly believes that everyone deserves a magnificent smile, capable of reflecting the true essence of the persons spirit and personality. She has successfully rehabilitated many patients with partial and/or total edentualism (absence of teeth) as a result of illness, age, tragic accidents or poor oral health, and has witnessed how improving their dental health also improved their self-esteem, confidence, and the way they interact and engage with others.
Hello! My name is Kathy K. Dobies. I am a native Floridian, born and raised in Tarpon Springs. Following high school I attended Saint Petersburg Junior College where I received an Associates of Arts degree. I furthered my education at the University of Louisville where I completed my Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. While at Louisville I had the honor of being elected senior class president.
Following my graduation, I returned to the area to practice dental hygiene in Pasco and Pinellas counties. Over the years I have stayed up to date and current with the new aspects of dentistry through continuing education. Working with Dr. Dean for the past five years has truly been an honor because she is an expert in her field and we share the same philosophies about dentistry.
Hello, my name is Meg. I am an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant with a Florida Radiology Certificate. I assist Dr. Dean chair-side, make temporary crowns and bridges, take impressions, do lab work and order/organize supplies for the office.
One of the favorite parts of my job is meeting new patients, especially those who have been referred by their family and friends. To me, creating smiles for a lifetime is exciting and I am proud of being a part of it.
I manage all patient accounts and insurance claims to make sure the office runs smoothly. As an employee at Dean Family Dentistry, I love being involved in our patients lives; listening to their stories, sharing in their joy or grief, and ultimately forming lasting relationships with them.
I really enjoy working here because I feel Dr. Dean always goes the extra mile with patients. She will do her very best to makes sure you are comfortable and will take her time to get to know each and every patient.

Well after many years of service I was treated like a second class citizen at the office today. I called before I got my insurance with my company to insure they took my insurance. Today's appointment came and I handed my card over and the lady behind desk looked at it funny and said I don't think we take this. Sorry. Then she called office manager and she stated that they didn't take my insurance. I told her I called my carrier and confirmed they did . She said I had to be willing to pay out of pocket. I told her I have another insurance from my wife's work. She said sorry we only take one insurance from a patient. I asked her to call Dr Dean whom I've seen for since she took over Mark Macoy. Sad day I have to find another dentist now. Sorry Dr Dean . I feel like she didn't want my business.

Dentist are a dime a dozen in Florida. But great dentist are hard to find and we have found a diamond with Dr. Dean Great experience!

I've had 2 great dentists in my 68 years. The first was while I was in my teens and early 20s. The other is Dr. Dean. She and her staff are accommodating for my odd emergencies and regular appointments. She never wants to sell you services you don't need, and her work has been consistently good. I cannot recommend her more highly.

Dr. Dean and her team are the best! Despite it being a dentist's office you will have a pretty good time. They will go the extra mile for their clients. Her work is exceptionally good. It is kind of hard to get an appointment, she's that popular.

They do not "have a chair waiting for me" as a new potential patient. The Doctor only works two days a week and you must book 4-6 weeks in advance. It's unfortunate that they don't want my business especially because what I need would take all of 10 minutes to complete.
