In 2006,Dr.AndyDeakjoined his fathers practice, bringing with him not only a dentistry degree, but also a medical education. Because hesa licensed physician, Andy supplies the necessarymedical understanding for many of the more complex dental procedures. In2020, Andy ventured out on his own to start his own practice.
Andy believes that before all else, every patient deserves to be treated with respect and kindness. Bygetting to know his patients, Andy determines the best approach for their individual care, and together they come up with a plan.
Andy earned a medical degree fromNortheast Ohio Medical Universityin 2004 and a Doctorate of Medical Dentistry fromCase Western Reserve Universityin 2006. His undergraduate studies were completed atYoungstown State University. Andy completed a year of preliminary internal medicine residency at Akron City Hospital/Summa Health System.

Dr. Deak is very professional and takes a genuine concern regarding his patient's dental health. He takes all of the steps necessary to reach the goal of achieving good dental health for his patients. The staff at Deak Medical Dentistry are very helpful and polite. I have been seeing Dr Andy's hygenist, Kristie, for at least 7 years. I had periodontal disease that was out of control. After 2 years of deep cleaning every 4 months, it is cured. She is very protective of my smile. She is awesome at her job!

First time at Deak dentistry but I like the feeling I get with Dr Andy and the staff! I didn't have any work done as I was referred out to an oral surgeon because the Dr doesn't do intravenous sedation and I needed a lot of work done. I already have a dentist but I may return to this practice.

Just had my first visit to Dr. Deak's office. Excellent staff from the moment I walked in the door to Ruth Ann the dental hygienist to Dr. Frank. I was made to feel comfortable, my exam was extremely thorough and proposed dental plan was explained in detail. So glad I switched my dental service and I highly recommend this office.

I used to be a bundle of nerves going to the dentist. They've gotten me through a lot of work and I am now completely at ease when I go for care. From the top down, everyone is awesome.

My grown children referred me to Deak Density and they got me in right away. Was everything my children said they were. Fantastic! And so far pain free! Best experience with a dental office so far. All staff is wonderful as well.

I can't say enough about Deaks Dentistry. Everyone in the office is just wonderful from the receptionist to the Dr's. I would recommend Deaks to anyone that is looking for a dentist. Just a overall great experience.

The folks at "Deak Medical Dentistry" are what I like to call "my type of people". Not only is everyone in the office, talented at what they do, they possess my type of sense of humor :) I was able to watch my crown being made and was like a little kid witnessing a science experiment. I was looking for a new Dentist and certainly found one. Where else can you get dental work done and listen to awesome music playing, in the office. Keep up the fantastic work and you have a patient for life. I'll be trying to "recruit" new patients for you, also :)

I'm really happy with Dr Deak and his staff. They're very efficient and explain everything in everyday language, medical terms can be very confusing. Everyone is super friendly, they take the fear out of going to the dentist.

They listened to all my fears about dental work. Everyone was caring and competent to he gentle and perform excellent work. They have had a solution for every fear. And I'm nearing the completion for a healthy mouth for the first time since I was a child. They show true concern for your health, and work with you to create a plan. Love them.

My first visit with Dr. Deak and his staff was incredible! Everyone in that office is so very kind. They took the time to explain EVERYTHING to me. They did not rush through the exam by any means. I'm having a hard time coming up with the words to explain how Dr. Andy and Dr. Frank, and the rest of this amazing staff has completely changed my life! I am the person who was so petrified of dentists and ashamed of my tetracycline-stained teeth that just opening my mouth to be examined brought tears to my eyes. Well, not anymore. Dr. Deak and his staff take away the "dread" of going to the dentist. The office is meticulous and state of the art. Permanent Crowns made in minutes and positioned in place in one visit. The staff is warm , welcoming, professional, and their expertise makes the visit comprehensive ,quick, painless, and easy. No dental insurance ? They have their own "package" which helps reduce cost. I've been going to Dr.Deak for years...may he never retire.
