Born on the island of Trinidad, Dr. Gary Lucombe earned a B.S in Biology at CUNY Medgar Evers. Following his graduation, he obtained his D.D.S degree from Howard University College of Dentistry, where he also received extensive training in dental implantology. As a prior Military Officer on active duty in the United States Army, Dr. Lucombe served as Clinic Chief while stationed in Korea and in Edgewood, MD. He also served as a Dental Officer in the United States Air Force National Guard until he left with an honorable discharge in 2009.

I have been going here since Dr Morton picked Dr. Lucombe to take over her practice years ago (10+). I find Dr. Lucombe and staff warm and friendly, he puts me at ease. They are professional and competent, informative and respectful. If you are afraid of the dentist, or feel your needs won't be heard, or you don't know if you can trust what is suggested, you can finally rest assured. You found the right dentist. I was there today, many years, cavities, crowns, etc. later. He said, " that little cavity will be no problem at all" - music to my ears! Comforting. Thanks for your calm and trustworthy approach!

I was reluctant to go to dentist during Covid 19 pandemic. The dental office was immaculate and all staff and patients wore masks. the Dentist and assist wore masks thicker than usual and shields. Staff were observed cleaning and disinfecting after each patient left. There was an air purifyer in waiting room. I felt safer when I left the office. The dental care was the best that exists in the world because the dentist is an Howard University Dental School Graduate.

Dr. Lucombe is an A-1 professional. I go in for a routine cleaning every six months and he gives me a full service treatment. No corners are cut! I get a thorough scraping and polishing and flossing and then a sit down conversation on the condition of my teeth and gums. I leave with a satisfying feeling that my oral health is being cared for from a high quality professional.

My wife and I have been attending Dr. Lucombe's practice for many years. He is a worthy successor to our previous excellent dentist, Dr. Morton. Dr. Lucombe and his staff are gracious, friendly, and thoroughly professional: they take a lot of anxiety out of going to the dentist, and my wife and I really appreciate that.

My first visit was awesome! I found the staff to very professional and timely. Dr. Lucombe gave me a clear, concise explanation of my dental issues were and then prioritized the work. I am so happy with my new dentist.
